It's clearly the perfect place for epicureans, food lovers, gourmets, and wine connoisseurs… In short, for anyone who truly loves good food. I'll be back—and probably sooner than expected (with "Dad")!

28/02/2026: First visit with our friend who lives near Angoulême, and frankly, we weren't disappointed! Super fresh, seasonal produce, very generous portions, and especially the discovery of things like cognac cocktails, etc. ... We'll definitely be back, and it's excellent value for money. 27/01/2026: We go there once a month, sometimes more, and it's always a real pleasure. The meat is excellent, the red wine is superb, and the charcuterie is simply incredible. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients; everything is fresh and flavorful. And on top of that, the chef is fantastic: welcoming, passionate, and it shows in the food. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good food and quality ingredients!

23/02/2026: Excellent experience at this Japanese restaurant! The concept of cooking in front of the customers is simply brilliant: it's a real spectacle, both impressive and engaging. The chef is a true master of his craft, with precise movements and impeccable cooking. The dishes were delicious, fresh, and flavorful, from the grilled meats to the side dishes. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the expertise behind every plate. A feast for the eyes as well as the palate—I highly recommend it! 🍣🔥

22/09/2025: Perfect place to stay. Peaceful scenic valley setting. Beautiful serenity. Very well equipped accommodation with everything you would need. Built to a very hight standard and spacious accommodation. The outside bbq and pool area were a real highlight for me. The host was very friendly helpful and polite. I would recommend a stay here to anyone.

26/09/2025: Cuisine that's always simple, authentic, and refined without being too pretentious. Certainly one of the most beautiful addresses in the area, with a sublime terrace in the summer with historic covered markets. Villebois Lavalette already smelled very good with its magnificent castle, but with a very beautiful restaurant like this... don't hesitate... to book!

04/02/2026: We arrived around 3 pm as a family for lunch. We were greeted with a smile by Ludivine. The service was excellent, and the order in which the dishes were served was respected. The food was delicious. Ludivine's exceptional service made all the difference. I highly recommend it.

I kept a low profile, didn't make a fuss. A smile shouldn't be optional at this price. In short, if you have other options: go elsewhere. A first and a last time...
