10/03/2026: The owners are very welcoming and had a pleasant chat with us. The room was clean and the bedding impeccable. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, nothing was lacking. The indoor parking is secure. We will gladly return.

28/05/2026: My partner and I came for a weekend in the area and were very disappointed. Not by the food, but by the service we received. As soon as we arrived, we felt condescending to a waitress (I think her name was Sandy). She kept asking if we had chosen our meal, which we hadn't, and when my partner told her he had chosen his main course but not his drink, she grabbed the drinks menu (which was right in front of him since he had already looked at it) and said, in a very haughty manner, "Well, here's the drinks menu." Yes, thank you, Sandy, we know, it was right in front of us and we had opened it ourselves... She remained polite, but her tone made it clear that we were bothering her. The food itself was okay, like what you'd expect from a typical chain restaurant, but nothing special. The next day, of course, we made sure not to come back, given how disappointed we were with the service. The taste of the food is one thing, the service is another. However, it's worth noting that the food arrived quickly :)

01/03/2026: On the road between Paris and Brittany, an unexpected stop in Évreux led us to discover this bakery. We left with a traditional baguette (5 stars: crispy and soft, perfectly baked), and an excellent pistachio and raspberry Paris-Brest—fragrant, smooth, and well-balanced. We also added an assortment of small oriental pastries, each more delicious than the last. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Évreux. The icing on the cake was the very warm welcome from a passionate and genuinely kind baker.

21/08/2026: At first glance, the place looks inviting. Unfortunately, the pizza didn't live up to our expectations. The dough was inedible and like cardboard (we suspected it was frozen), and it was far from the fresh ham one would expect on a quality pizza (most likely pre-cut, vacuum-packed ham). In short, it wasn't as delicious as we'd hoped, and we won't be leaving with any lasting memories. Avoid it if you appreciate authentic flavors.

20/08/2026: The dough on our 5 pizzas wasn't cooked. The online prices aren't up to date. The bill was higher than expected.

27/07/2026: We had already given this restaurant as a five-course gift for a delighted friend's birthday. This Monday at lunchtime, we took our Swiss friend on this culinary journey: from the cocktail and amuse-bouche to the main course and dessert, the welcome and service from Clément, as well as the conversation with Valentin, our passionate chef, were worthy of a Michelin star. The "A'FAIRE" menu, three courses with incredible flavor discoveries, included an amuse-bouche, a halibut and mango tart emulsion with cuttlefish ink, and a pitaya shrimp tartare. The dish featured shredded veal that was both meltingly tender and crispy, served with pea purée, and a chocolate mousse with strawberry and Thai basil syrup. 20/07/2026: We had a wonderful time. We immediately felt at ease. A huge thank you to the chef and the entire team, who perfectly accommodated our train schedule. Despite a full restaurant, our dishes were served with remarkable efficiency, without ever compromising on quality. The service was warm, attentive, and very friendly. As for the food, it was simply delicious: refined and flavorful dishes.

15/05/2026: The restaurant is situated in a magnificent setting, with truly remarkable surroundings. The food is very good and the dishes are well-prepared. However, the welcome is minimal: it's difficult to get a smile, there's no welcome, no wine list at the table, and no greeting upon departure. There's no interest in checking if everything is alright during the meal. The terrace is barely weeded, which reinforces the impression of very limited customer service. It's important to review the welcome, the interpersonal skills, and the overall atmosphere, because the human element matters as much as the setting. The setting isn't everything: taking pleasure in welcoming customers is essential.

13/05/2026: First time here and it was a very good experience. The staff were very kind and pleasant, the meal was more than delicious and full of flavor, but above all, very generous. The pastries and tea were a perfect ending. And the price was more than reasonable for the quality. I will gladly return the next time I'm craving couscous! Thank you.

12/04/2026: A huge disappointment. I absolutely do not recommend this place. The salesperson promised a dream when we ordered the daily special (porcini mushroom ravioli with a slice of pan-seared foie gras and duck breast). In reality, the duck breast was nothing more than a smoked, reconstituted duck breast, and the pan-seared foie gras was bloody and unpresentable. The dish cost €31 and was nowhere near worth the price.
