The dishes at La Madeleine restaurant by Cyril Coutin are exquisite: the flavors, textures, and combinations are complex, refined, and perfectly executed. The welcome and service are impeccable, with a menu offering reasonable and accessible prices considering the excellence on offer. The extreme heatwave of the day further enhanced the calm and intimate atmosphere, making for a particularly pleasant experience.

08/06/2026: A cozy place with an excellent welcome. We were dazzled by the scenery and delighted our taste buds from beginning to end. The waiter was incredibly attentive.

28/05/2026: Be careful with drinks ordered in 33cl bottles. They are served in unmarked glasses, so you can't see the bottles. My husband ordered a 33cl "Duchesse Anne" beer for €6, served in a wine glass! And I ordered a 33cl bottle of Perrier for €3.50, which didn't taste like Perrier at all, but rather like some homemade sparkling drink. During our meal, we made a complaint, which didn't seem to bother the manager (I think). When it came time to pay, we repeated our complaint, and her response was more than astonishing: we should have asked for the bottles! This is the first time we've ever experienced such service in a restaurant. As for the galettes, they were very generous but of average quality. Well, that's it, last time.

18/05/2026: Special thanks to the team who allowed 6 soaking wet cyclists to dine in their restaurant. The mess we made due to the amount of water coming out of our clothes was incredible. The staff were patient, kind and welcoming. The food was delicious too.

22/02/2026: We love eating there with friends or family. The staff are very friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant. Excellent value for money. It's lucky we still have this little restaurant in the area because junk food is rampant in Les Andelys and it's becoming unbearable. Keep up the good work! 😉

31/03/2026: This was a very pleasant surprise. Returning from a walk around Bec Hellouin, we stopped for lunch at the restaurant "Le Risle" in Montfort-sur-Risle. We really appreciated the warm welcome. The menu was very tempting, featuring specialties we were delighted to find again. What a pleasure to eat frog legs, rabbit, and porcini mushroom ice cream, all accompanied by a lovely wine. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. Thank you to the chef and her team.

04/04/2026: The Château-Hôtel de la Rapée is a charming place to stay when visiting Gisors and exploring the Vexin region. We spent one night there and had dinner in the restaurant as a family with our 20-month-old baby. It was a very pleasant stop on our trip. The welcome was very warm, the rooms are very comfortable with excellent bedding, and the chef's cuisine was a delight. We highly recommend this place!

28/03/2026: A truly beautiful establishment: + A magnificent castle, surrounded by nature and bordering a stud farm. Free on-site parking. Very kind and helpful staff. Excellent soundproofing: we returned late without disturbing anyone. Spacious room with an entrance vestibule and double doors. A wardrobe in the vestibule. The decor is distinctive but suits the setting. The bathroom is small but very well laid out, with everything you need. I particularly appreciated the faucet, which is both beautiful and functional. A tray with a kettle for making coffee or tea. Very comfortable bedding. Good blackout curtains. The breakfast items are very good, and having breakfast in the conservatory on a sunny day while watching the horses being trained is absolutely wonderful. - There is a constant noise of water circulating in the radiator: earplugs are recommended for those sensitive to noise. Breakfast: limited choice considering the price of €16, and I regret that there are no artisanal or local products...

20/05/2026: Yesterday we had two pizzas and a flank steak, and everything was absolutely delicious 😋 The portions were generous and well-prepared. Special mention goes to the service, which was pleasant and warm from beginning to end. It was a very comfortable place to be, and that was a real treat 😊 We'll definitely be back!
