28/03/2026: I booked a weekend with the spa, dinner, and overnight package. The place is very charming, located in a pretty village. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant, dinner was delicious, and the room was very nice. We had a wonderful stay.

04/04/2026: The buffet was small, so there wasn't a huge selection. Of the items I tried, the chicken flavor was there, but it was too greasy. Furthermore, the price was high: €22.90 for Saturday lunch. There were hairs in the dish and the glass. I definitely don't recommend it.

31/03/2026: Honestly, you can eat well, but the cook watches you so closely that you shouldn't eat too much. He gives you strange looks and he even hit you with his spoon; I was scared. Too bad, I won't be back.

16/04/2026: A very unpleasant experience. The unprofessional waiter insulted other customers as he walked past us, knocked over glasses, and was consequently even more unpleasant, preferring to insult customers rather than acknowledge his own mistakes. His two colleagues tried to salvage the situation, kudos to them. The food didn't live up to the prices, even though the dishes were decent, but still far too expensive. There was a long wait between courses, and no drinks menu, so imagine our surprise when the bill arrived and a glass of Chardonnay was €10… it felt like we were just opening. Unfortunately, this establishment should be avoided, at least in its current state…

29/03/2026: Excellent culinary experience and excellent service. We had a Datota Box for the gourmet restaurant La Licorne Royale... But since we had been very late in using it, and the restaurant no longer accepted it... In a very accommodating manner, the management of La Licorne offered to seat us instead at the Bistrot du Grand Cerf (thanks to Julie, an employee whom I thank here, as well as her management). On Friday evening, March 27th, we were warmly welcomed by a head waiter who was perfectly aware of how our reservation should have worked with the box: starter - main course - dessert and a complimentary bottle of water. After an aperitif chosen from the menu accompanied by a warm amuse-bouche, we had a soft-boiled egg in puff pastry with spinach and hollandaise sauce as a starter, which was cooked to perfection. For our main courses, my wife had roasted pike-perch fillet and I had the pork knuckle in a pot-au-feu. Two generous and delicious courses. For dessert, we chose the Baked Alaska (which, incidentally, isn't actually Norwegian), flambéed with Grand Marnier tableside. The wait between courses was very reasonable, and the background music was very subdued, reminiscent of a piano bar. We weren't bothered by the noise of the other diners, but admittedly, there weren't many of them. A place to recommend.

02/03/2026: A memorable Valentine's Day experience: 4.5 hours of tête-à-tête! If you're looking to test the strength of your relationship, this is the perfect place. As for the wine cellar, it's a lesson in patience: an hour's wait only to learn that the large bottle ordered had somehow transformed into a small one (or perhaps just the passage of time). The highlight? A bill that, ironically, still remembered the original large bottle. For an establishment of this renown, we expected fine dining, but instead, we got a massive time-waster. A shame, because time is money, and here, you clearly lose both.

14/10/2025: Surprised by the rating and the comments, I stopped several times on the air, I already had the opportunity to take a shower, which was clean, the employees are always respectful and polite, so ok it's not great cuisine but that's not what we ask for in a quick restaurant

22/02/2026: No welcome, no smiles. The food is disappointing and far too expensive. They serve you plates that look like they belong on a child's; I wouldn't call that cooking, I'd call it low-end snacks. The grites are cooked in old oil and arrive completely brown on the plate. The croque monsieur are made with two 10x10 cm slices of white bread—you might as well go to McDonald's; it's better. The owner is not at all friendly; you get the feeling you're bothering him, and his wife hides to avoid taking orders (she should change careers because in France we like to welcome guests and share). In short, there are much better places in terms of quality and price. The one star is really unwarranted.

17/04/2026: Disappointed...we ordered Infinity Stars and got nuggets, a bacon Big Mac instead of an original Big Mac, then another Big Mac without salad or sauce... waited 20 minutes for our order while there was someone in front of us and no one else at the drive-thru at 6:30 pm... then an older employee who seemed to think she was in a fish market...very, very disappointed...

17/04/2026: Friendly and clean staff… that's where the positives end… Tiny hamburgers, not good and undercooked (the cheese was awful)… The Burger King next door is the Michelin Guide of hamburgers; I understand why I hadn't set foot in a Lac d'Or restaurant in ages…

08/05/2026: Ordered for 13, several mistakes on the pizzas, forgotten ingredients, and frankly disappointing quality… 🍕 Unfortunately, the service didn't redeem the experience.

08/05/2026: Thirteen at the table, a simple mission: eat pizzas. The restaurant decided to turn this into a culinary escape game. The first three pizzas arrived: three mistakes. An impressive ratio, almost impossible to replicate intentionally. The next two? No arugula… even though they were supposed to have it. Apparently, the arugula took a day off. A quick detour to the register to politely point out my “arugula pizza without arugula” (sorry, I couldn't remember the exact name after all the surprises). The owner's response: “Are you kidding me?” Before adding that “it was a joke.” Well… either I don't have a very developed sense of humor, or that's also missing from their supplies. The servers seemed to be competing in a contest of rudeness, and the daily special was nowhere to be seen. Yet… it was definitely a weekday, I checked. In short, if you like surprises, improvisations and immersive experiences, go for it. If you just wanted a quiet dinner… maybe get a frozen pizza, it will be more predictable, and of better quality.

12/06/2025: Calm and peaceful. Not too bothered by the keys this morning. After snack time, things should get going! Fingers in the fries, it's not the time to bite, everyone takes turns. An Americano ordered in the morning upon arrival and eaten at 11:00 a.m., a delight.

10/06/2025: A bit small. Quiet place. Good fishing: about thirty trout at 5. Small store to buy everything you need. Rod, bait, pasta, drinks.

21/04/2026: For the first time, I ordered couscous. €12 for a couscous with meatballs, a reasonable price. However, it was bland. You wonder if there was any salt or even any weight in it; there weren't even three meatballs inside, more vegetables than meat and semolina. I don't recommend it.

01/04/2026: A very bad experience. The restaurant was dirty, with a clear lack of hygiene, and the food didn't seem fresh (the couscous was reheated). The owner is also very unpleasant. The way the staff operates strongly suggests shady practices involving undocumented workers, which is very unsettling. I absolutely do not recommend it.

09/11/2025: For years, we've had nothing to complain about; excellent value for money and efficient staff. One day, we had a small problem, but they were able to rectify the mistake. Very customer-oriented! I highly recommend them!

29/08/2025: We ordered: a medium Andalusian, a medium tartiflette, a small Bolognese. We received: 2 medium tartiflettes, a small American. Terrible service.
