26/12/2024: What a disappointment, given the reviews we arrived confident but we quickly became disillusioned...let's not take into account the non-existent decoration and the white walls. 50 minutes before taking our order, without even a carafe of water to wait The waiter presents well and knows the steps to follow for quality service which is good but he is totally overwhelmed in a room of 20 seats... how can I say that being a waiter myself I had difficulty understanding. How is it possible in such a small room to have 6 tables that have finished eating and that we are not clearing? I still wonder how we can find ourselves overflowing with so few customers in the room? He was there without being there, the table next door asked for the bill, 30 minutes later they were still waiting...awkward atmosphere because everyone was a little fed up to be polite 3 hours starter main course dessert, starters, passable, for the main courses, a very lean and well cooked duck breast when it had been requested rosé (no gesture despite the admitted fault) a very well cooked beef instead of medium rare. .the desserts raise the level but we won't come back that's for sure! A single juice and a single syrup for drinks… This review was written with complete objectivity and deserves to be published because we were very disappointed.

11/11/2025: Restaurant with a magnificent view of Pors Ar Vag beach… The menu is a bit pricey for what's offered, and the food is rather bland, lacking in "oomph"…. I'll try it again someday so as not to leave with a bad memory.

29/10/2025: We had a very good lunch. All the dishes were high quality and the price was fair. One small drawback: the service could have been a little friendlier.

20/10/2024: Takeaway pizzeria in the village of Pluguffan. Very good pizzas and ready on time. Online order possible with WhatsApp confirmation. Fairly easy parking in the evening to pick up the pizza.

05/10/2025: Very friendly and very professional welcome, I would say warm,🌹 The dishes are very generous and really excellent 🌹 Very nice room but it is better to book because it is often full 🌹 The service is top notch (Not too fast nor too slow, the right pace) 🌹 I recommend the fricassee of St Jacques 👌😋🌹 take some ice cream, the presentation is fantastic 🤩😍🤗 for us bigoudens on the move, see you very soon 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

10/09/2024: We were passing through this area last week, good address, good bar, friendly atmosphere and during the day there is a beautiful view of the landscape. Vast choice of drinks and the bartenders are open to cocktails, which is very nice. Thank you for discovering the espresso martini with cognac (a nugget) and with very good rum too 😉👌 Looking forward.

18/08/2024: Beautiful view: sunset over Poulgoazec. Excellent mojitos and good beers. For the boards, don't arrive too late... 😉 Super friendly atmosphere and the boss's play list is amazing without any fault of taste over 2 evenings! 0

09/11/2024: True to my memories. We have been coming here regularly for several years. Crêperie run for years by the same family. Whatever dish you choose (burger, tartare, salad, pancake, crepe and other desserts), you will not be disappointed by the quality. From fresh products, beautiful preparations. Tasty pancakes with an interesting and good composition. I highly recommend. Reservation is preferable.

30/11/2024: Succulent and creamy vegetable mousse waiting for the dish. Original sauce and accompaniment from the place. Chocolate-caramel dessert of the same ilk. A delicious, relaxing lunch with professional service, neither too discreet nor too intrusive. Under the gentle sun of Carantec, accompanied by a magnificent blue sky.

24/11/2024: What a wonderful evening I and my 4 friends spent Friday evening at the Paul Germain restaurant! What a great discovery this restaurant that we didn't know existed. No false notes, everything was perfect from the reception until the moment we left, it was after midnight. We were kindly made to understand that the restaurant was going to close but without the feeling of being rushed towards the exit. The boss is very nice with a good sense of humor which made us laugh a lot. His cuisine is delicious, as are the wines. And, at Paul Germain, they don't serve you portions of canary! The dishes are very generous and so good that the plates left empty. The fish was delicious with perfectly mastered cooking, no doubt about the freshness of the product which must have been purchased the same day from the fishmonger. The setting is magnificent, cozy, it's clean and the restaurant is not noisy which is really appreciated. The layout of the restaurant had to be optimized to provide an atmosphere of serenity. We feel that there is craftsmanship and experience because everything is mastered so that the customer feels good and leaves satisfied. We will come back because this restaurant is a must in the Brest landscape, to try at least once. The 5 stars join the string of previous reviews
