25/02/2026: What can I say about this magical moment with my best friend at La Butte, enhanced by a thoughtful, warm, and professional welcome, a divine massage with incredibly kind and skilled professionals in a soothing and relaxing haven. The dinners at Le Comptoir were also excellent, featuring local products, as was the breakfast. A huge thank you to the entire team for this wonderful interlude and for allowing us to spend ten days there in such a peaceful and serene way. I won't wait ten years to return, and I arrived home safely (the reception staff will understand).

23/10/2025: Friendly, cheerful, and attentive welcome to customers. The home-cooked food is very good. We chose the shank cooked over the fireplace (weekly menu). We recommend this place.

15/01/2026: Visited on Thursday the 15th around 11:45 am. The gentleman in the gray vest, the lady at the counter, and the young man taking orders were all very professional and efficient, no complaints whatsoever, kudos to them. However, I saw an employee wearing a helmet touch his nose and continue serving without washing his hands. Another employee entered the kitchen around noon with a can of Red Bull brought from outside and without a hairnet, and yet another person also entered the kitchen without a hairnet. The language used at the counter was also inappropriate; some people seem to forget that customers can hear everything. The hygiene and professionalism issues are obvious, and honestly, I will never come back here. Also, they forgot the cheese in my sandwich, and the caramel ice cream was overflowing everywhere—in short, disgusting.

10/01/2026: At Ty Billig, the atmosphere is friendly and authentic, the decor is charming, and the service is lively and welcoming. And what can I say about the galettes... They are by far the best I've ever eaten (the onions caramelized in cider, what a treat!).

02/12/2025: Purchased 4 items (traditional bread, 3 macarons, an éclair and a kouign amann). The macarons weren't great, but the rest was good, especially the traditional bread. However, I found the price expensive at €15, especially since we were charged for one item twice… The young woman who served us wasn't very friendly!

08/01/2026: I never miss a visit to L'Essentiel whenever I'm in Pont L'Abbé! Inventive, refined cuisine, fresh ingredients, and very reasonable prices. I highly recommend it!

14/01/2026: Delicious scallops in persillade (parsley, butter and garlic) (pétoncles farcis) and fresh mussels marinières. The mussels are quite small (would never have been allowed to be harvested in Australia - however, the minimum harvest size in Roscoff is 4cm) but yummy enough and very fresh. Very nice team of staff and nice selection of beer and wine.

13/01/2026: We loved the warm welcome at the entrance and were pleasantly surprised to have mussels with seaweed – they were magnificent! The little girls were delighted with their plates. I highly recommend it! 😍😍

03/02/2026: Passing through Landerneau, we found this lovely little restaurant very charming and welcoming, not to mention the very pleasant and professional service from Axelle and Sandrine. The meals were generous and reasonably priced, and everything was homemade – I highly recommend it! We only had an hour for lunch, and the speed of the service impressed us! Thank you for a great time! 🤗

14/05/2025: At first glance, the menu appeared unexciting, but the actual dishes were scrumptious. The risotto with my delicious fish was out of this world.

07/05/2025: Very cosy local bistro with local food showing food miles (very few). Lots of local customers and obviously frequent diners. The burger was going down a storm with most but I didn't have it to my regret as my son loved it, it seemed freshly minced and made in the kitchen. It's worth supporting good places and this is one of those

11/11/2025: We went as a couple on this public holiday. The welcome and service were impeccable. However, the food was very disappointing in terms of value for money. The Savoyard menu arrived with the cheese not very hot, but never mind. And the Périgord menu consisted of a few pieces of duck breast with a salad, potatoes, and a small dish with a lot of sauce and a few pieces of meat. Not convincing. Disappointed overall 🤧
