16/05/2026: After our first lunch there as a family of four, we returned for Ascension Thursday. Each time, we opted for the €28 set menus (starter/main course/dessert), always choosing the fish dishes (and, as a treat, adding 12 delicious oysters). Besides the warm welcome and attentive service, the portions were generous and the food was superb. When an item wasn't on the menu, the alternative dish was always a hit. Kudos to the kitchen! Highly recommended.

03/08/2026: Overall, we genuinely liked the hotel itself. The location is very nice, the property is well maintained, and the breakfast was particularly delicious. We also found the housekeeping and service staff to be exceptionally friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately, this made our experience with an issue regarding our booking all the more disappointing. We had deliberately chosen to book directly through the hotel’s own website rather than using one of the major booking platforms. Direct booking is repeatedly promoted by hotels and European hotel associations as a way to support hotels directly, and that was exactly our intention. Unfortunately, we found the booking process on the website to be unclear. Apparently, the room category we originally wanted was no longer available. However, instead of clearly informing us of this, a different room category was selected or booked during the process. At the time, we did not realize that we had ultimately booked a different category from the one we had intended. Naturally, the disappointment was significant when we arrived at the hotel. What was even more disappointing, however, was the response from management. We were essentially told that there was no solution to our problem and that the mistake was ours, as we had booked the room in that way. We were also told that there had never been any issues with the website before and that we were supposedly the first guests to raise such a concern. At this point, especially in a four-star hotel, we would have expected a more professional, guest-oriented, and solution-focused approach. At one stage, we were offered a spa voucher or the possibility of changing rooms later as a gesture of goodwill. These offers were subsequently withdrawn. Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled afterwards also did not leave us with a particularly welcoming impression. When encountering management while coming and going, we perceived the attitude towards us as rather reserved. At check-out, we were also not asked again how our stay had been or whether everything had been satisfactory. In our view, asking guests about their stay is part of the basic principles of good hospitality, regardless of whether the stay went smoothly or whether management is already aware that a guest has raised a complaint. Guest feedback and criticism should at least be listened to and taken seriously. What we found particularly disappointing is that our conscious decision to book directly with the hotel ultimately seemed to work to our disadvantage. The fact that we had specifically chosen to book directly in order to support the hotel appeared to have no relevance whatsoever during the discussion. Our overall impression is therefore mixed: a beautiful hotel in a great location, with excellent breakfast and many very friendly staff members. However, when it comes to how management handles problems and complaints, we would have expected a considerably higher level of professionalism, flexibility, and guest orientation from a hotel of this category.

20/10/2026: This restaurant offers authentic dishes that are quite well prepared. The butcher's cut (flank steak) was cooked as requested. The only downside was the €2.90 supplement for seasonal vegetables, which consisted of undercooked frozen green beans. A shame. Also, the tables are a bit close together.

07/08/2026: The pizzas are delicious and the desserts are very good too; I recommend the enormous profiteroles! The staff gives their all and is very professional. Oh yes, and the chairs are a 10/10!

31/07/2026: Good food and generous portions. It's a shame some people acted more like they were in a bar than a restaurant, forcing us to ask to change tables because the noise level was so high... Furthermore, the wait was enormous, over an hour and a half, while people who arrived after us were served much earlier, and we were with two children. Needless to say, it was difficult to explain why we were literally starving while people who arrived 30 or even 45 minutes later were already having their meals... We even decided against ordering dessert for fear of losing another half hour or more. It's a shame... because there was no offer of compensation for the wait, just a brief explanation that it would be served, but then another 30-minute wait ensued!

19/08/2026: The service was very good, the waitress was pleasant and smiling. However, we were disappointed by the royal pizza with unpeeled shrimp and surprised by the frozen seafood. We did, however, enjoy the four-cheese pizza.

11/10/2026: A wonderful place that I wholeheartedly recommend! A beautiful brasserie-restaurant ideally located overlooking Place d'Italie in the 13th arrondissement. A lively and particularly pleasant setting. The welcome is simply outstanding; the team is smiling, warm, and attentive. A big thank you to all the staff for this excellent service. The menu is particularly extensive to satisfy all tastes. Whether for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or simply a drink, the quality of service is impeccable. I go there regularly, and it's a brasserie you absolutely must discover ❤️

11/10/2026: Very good restaurant, and bar too with a happy hour from 5pm to 9pm, very nice Feta salad for €16, I recommend it!

26/09/2026: Avoid at all costs! Not being able to have lunch there at 1:30 pm on a Saturday is understandable, but being turned away through an intermediary when you're standing right in front of the person who seems to be the manager, with a dismissive "Hello, Thomas? Come on, Thomas!" addressed to her server at the reception desk, is unacceptable! Reputation doesn't excuse a lack of courtesy, and treating customers with such contempt is not good business practice!

26/09/2026: Excellent meal in a lovely setting. We had a wonderful time. The classic buckwheat crepe was fantastic, and the apple tart was simply divine. Arimair diving club recommended it to us, and it's truly a great place. The staff is also very friendly. Go without hesitation.
