29/08/2024: Exceptional setting, warm welcome with humor and good humor, seafood platter to die for! Go there with your eyes closed!

27/08/2024: Excellent oysters, shrimp, clams. Good idea to offer salads, we are often still hungry after seafood. Superb setting. On the other hand, reservations are required otherwise you will be chased away, they are oyster farmers, not traders who are looking to provide another service. Temporary staff much friendlier than the managers.

15/11/2024: The cakes are always good. Not very sweet but very tasty. The room is pleasant and the service is fast. Good place to spend an afternoon with a coffee or hot chocolate.

20/08/2024: This is the third time I’ve been to Les Embruns. I recommend for a lunch break: Good and hearty sandwiches like the Corsican charcuterie platter. Fast service and affordable prices. PS: And a nice covered terrace for coffee/smoking!

17/08/2024: Great discovery. Very friendly bar where locals meet while being warm with tourists. The server's wise advice allowed us to discover a delicious rum. Nice setting in a dynamic and very friendly atmosphere.

19/09/2024: Went for Sunday Lunch with my wife while on holiday in Concarneau and throughly enjoyed the experience. Food was excellent and we had a great waiter who looked after us . Would throughly recommend

13/09/2024: What can one say about this “Bannalec institution” in an honest attempt to be fair: Mistake number 1: You follow the recommendation of a very successful “tourist guide” - yes, I know, it's actually a literary travel guide - to an already very overcrowded tourist city. Mistake number 2: You don't speak the local language well enough (but at least you try and don't immediately start chatting in German or English). When placing an order, the boss sees no possibility of helping out in any world language - except French. When it came to paying, English was no problem. Mistake number 3: You come at lunchtime and don't have a reservation. Unavoidable: a perfectly (honestly!) styled boss who had a lot to do with herself and being a boss and - despite mass operations - under no circumstances wanted to get into the depths of normal service. Conclusion: If you value the crime novels and the travel guide and absolutely have to “check off” a visit, you can do so safely, ideally without making the avoidable mistakes mentioned above. The food was good, but it didn't blow you away either. And: there are significantly better alternatives, especially when you evaluate the price/performance ratio.

25/04/2025: I love their burgers, they are excellent, unfortunately I was just told that they no longer make them in the evening. I am extremely disappointed.

07/12/2024: At the top! Copious plates, a menu with very good value for money! I had a great evening, the owner is very kind and welcoming. A meal that warms you up and makes you feel like you're on vacation.

03/12/2024: Not enough choice on the menu. Poor service, no bread in the restaurant, the meat quality is not great apart from the friendly boss.

31/07/2024: I placed an order for delivery on Monday, Indian pizza and I was so disappointed and shocked: for 17.49 euros... 5 small pieces of chicken, almost no cheese, very very dry. I'm really shocked, it's my third visit this summer and each time I said to myself no, I have to try another pizza to be sure. Well, that would be my last visit.
