08/12/2025: The meal was decent, nothing special. I found the prices too high for what you get on your plate. There were five of us, and this applies to all the dishes we ordered. The "mocktail" I had was tasteless, especially considering it cost over €7... The daily specials weren't very clear. The setting is certainly very pleasant. The menu needs to be more appealing; either the dishes and their presentation need to be better, or the prices need to be lowered.

07/12/2025: Extremely disappointing. We drove all the way home and nothing matched our order. We received a small coffee we hadn't ordered, two set meals were missing, two burgers were missing, an ice cream without topping (even though we had asked for chocolate topping), a drink was missing, and we were missing sauces and napkins. It was a complete mess! And yet we paid full price! Shameful!

29/11/2024: We fell in love with this place to celebrate our wedding reception. However, it was at the end of the season, and this was clearly felt, both with the managers, the maître d’ and the staff. Apparently we're not the only ones complaining. First of all, it was very difficult to contact the managers, whether by phone or email. We had to go there several times to get information or confirmations. On the big day, our arrival was scheduled for around 6 p.m., but due to bad weather, we arrived an hour early. When we arrived at the site, we discovered a place without life, without light and without decoration to announce a wedding, nor to welcome us properly for our big day! We noticed that the place was only decorated with our own elements; no additional decoration had been added. After knocking on the door several times to drop off the intended easel, we found ourselves faced with a waitress who was not aware of the instructions given. In the rain and cold, we asked the maître d' to let us into the lounge, but he responded rudely, telling us that this had to be planned in advance! After an hour of waiting, we were finally allowed to enter the lounge at the scheduled time. We felt a certain indifference from the head waiter, who was abrupt and curt with our guests. For example, when the witnesses asked for a wall and sockets for a projection, he did not react correctly. The reception room was pleasant and decorated by us, but it was cold due to a "boiler breakdown". Fortunately, the fireplace allowed us to warm up a little. The dishes, which were intended to be gourmet, did not live up to our expectations. The best part was the cheese and wine, but these elements were completely beyond the chef's control! Our guests had the impression of expeditious service, unpleasant and indifferent staff. We didn't want to stay long at the Moulin du Duc and cut the evening short around 12:30 a.m. to continue the party at home. The icing on the cake: one of our guests had reserved a room at the Moulin. Unfortunately, no one was there to check in in advance. The next morning, no staff member was there for breakfast, so this guest left hungry, leaving a note in his room. We, who really fell in love with this place, are extremely disappointed by the quality of service and the lack of professionalism of the staff. Obviously, we shared our comments with the head waiter, but he had an answer for almost everything. It’s a shame that a place of this magnitude does not offer a service that lives up to its image. Fortunately, our friends were there to make our day unforgettable, and not the Moulin du Duc…

16/09/2024: After two underwhelming experiences at highly rated French restaurants in Amiens and Reims, we were hesitant to try another French spot, so we opted for Italian instead, thinking it was a safer choice. To our surprise, the quality here blew us away! The pizza Malva was superb, with generous toppings, and the Bolognese tagliatelle was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made in-house. This turned out to be an unexpected gem in Brittany. Highly recommend if you're craving great Italian food in the area!

22/08/2024: The food is not bad but they serve the pasta cut. The carbonaras are French style, that is to say with cream, which is not great for a so-called Italian restaurant but more and more restaurants are doing that. The staff is very friendly and attentive which is very good. Small downside there is only one toilet so you have to wait quite a bit.

The chef has mastered the art of sushi to perfection, and seeing the sushi come to life under his expert hands is a spectacle in itself. The decoration, for its part, invites you to travel, with a refined aesthetic that subtly recalls the elegance of Japan. 15/08/2024: Exceptional dinner, the quality of the dishes is extraordinary, and this includes not only the fish (which is of a great variety) but also the Wasabi, exquisite, brought and selected directly from Japan, the rice of exceptional finesse, the teas, sakes... The setting is magnificent, the superb welcome by Mr Xavier Pensec, his Japanese wife, the young person who participated in the service in perfect symbiosis with the spirit of the restaurant, all associated with valuable information historical and geographical information about Japan. The (very rare) people who have in the past criticized the high price of the menu surely have no idea of ​​the work carried out upstream to find on their plates fish meticulously selected with passion, of impeccable freshness, and the years of experience to acquire such mastery in the preparation of sushi. Certainly a restaurant deserving not one but three stars for sushi as well as for rice, teas and Japanese alcohols...

13/12/2025: We had a very good meal: fresh, homemade food. From taking the reservation to paying, the team was efficiently professional. We were a little cramped between the tables at the back, but this gave us the opportunity to see very happy customers and chat about our meals. A relaxing experience. Good value. Quick service.

25/10/2024: To flee!! Extremely unpleasant staff, they don't like tourists and especially children. We waited at the bar to ask to warm up our baby's potty, the waitress made a good tour of all the other customers before even saying hello. Kindly asking to reheat the little pot we were treated to “this better not explode in my microwave!! ". We offered to write down the entire order (there were about 10 of us) to help and we were sent packing. We very clearly had the feeling of being disturbed. The icing on the cake: a lady who violently opens a glass door who passed 1cm from our baby without even apologizing (she had seen us very well before opening). I would like to point out that we are managers of a bar restaurant and are shocked by these attitudes, we would never behave like that with our customers, local or not!
