23/08/2026: A wonderful discovery today at lunchtime! Pleasant terrace. Friendly, professional, smiling, and efficient staff. A charming owner; this restaurant brings back memories of the good old days. The menu was excellent: the frogs' legs were superb, the pan-seared foie gras and beef tartare were perfectly hand-cut and seasoned. One guest had a minor complaint about the granita, which he felt lacked a bit of flavor. But honestly, don't change a thing! We will be back. The Monin-Veyret Foucher Family

15/08/2026: A very pleasant surprise! Passing through for a weekend in the area, we booked a table for dinner. We opted for the €45 set menu. The dishes were delicious, fresh, and well-prepared. Beautifully presented. The service was friendly and attentive. We highly recommend it!!

03/08/2026: We stopped here during a motorcycle ride and we couldn't have chosen a better spot! The fondue was excellent (both in taste and texture) and a generous portion, and the large salads also looked delicious. The service was top-notch, and the air conditioning was perfect for cooling off after riding in the sun for several hours. And the little coffee at the end was also very good. In short, I highly recommend it!

09/09/2026: There's a "WiFi" sign outside, but it supposedly doesn't work. Salad is served without dressing; you have to add your own. Two poorly poured glasses of red wine – about 0.18 liters each – cost €11. Contrary to the menu, dessert is served without vanilla ice cream, "because it would melt." Main courses can only be described as slightly below average. Overall: recommended at most for those who enjoy frog legs on weekends.

08/09/2026: Excellent cuisine, enjoyed on a lovely terrace overlooking Mont Blanc thanks to the pleasant weather, and with attentive and friendly service. We enjoyed it so much that we returned two days later to try other dishes from the menu.

14/08/2026: Stayed in nearby Blyes for a night. Found this restaurant online, looked very good, menu very interesting. So we took a quick drive and came for dinner. Since Saturday we've made an online reservation a few days before. A good thing, since it was pretty packed that night. Parking was just across the street. Very convenient. It was a warm summer evening, so we booked a table outside, as almost all guests did. We did come pretty early, so we got our orders in pretty fast. For starters we've went for the hot Foie Gras (the both of us). For the mains we chose the Filet de Boeuf with Chimichurri sauce and the Tartare de crevettes aux épices with Ajo Blanco et hareng fumé (smoked Herring). All the dishes were really nicely presented, colorful - a feast for your eyes. A complementary Amuse-bouche was served as well. But also taste-wise all dishes were winners! The beef was a fantastic piece, perfectly cooked as ordered. Juicy, tender. Great flavours. The shrimp tartare with herring was very innovative, quite fresh and light. A great summer dish! And the Foie Gras was excellent. A nice, generous piece and a sweet/brioche bread. Really matched wonderfully. The beef came with a side of sweet potatoes mash with regular potatoes. Very nice. The bottle of Chardonnay did fit the meal very well. Staff was nice and friendly. And the prices are fair for the presentation and quality of ingredients. Paid around 130 Euros for everything. A real gem, this one. Nice setting, very comfy, cosy and relaxed. Pets welcome as well. Come early if you want to avoid the big crowds and make a reservation. It surely is a great restaurant and worth a drive. Fantastic french food with some creative twists!

14/08/2026: Honestly… more beautiful than delicious. The setting and presentation are quite pleasant, but unfortunately, that's where the experience ends. We waited 40 minutes before we could even order, then another hour before receiving our appetizers. We had to ask three times for a simple carafe of water… At this point, it's not just a wait, it's clearly a lack of organization. The service was very cold, impersonal, and clearly impersonal. No special attention, no real interaction; we really felt like we were just there to get the tables turned over. And the bill? €168 for four people, just the set menus. For that price, we obviously expected much better. The fish was literally swimming in butter, which left a bad taste in my stomach. The tomatoes were completely bland and tasteless, and overall, we found the dishes very disappointing for the price. We did, however, take the time to express our disappointment to the person who served us. Their response? In essence: "Yes, okay, sorry, but these are exceptional products." No self-reflection, no gesture of goodwill, nothing. Apparently, calling the products "exceptional" is enough to justify the price and end the discussion. 😅 I remain frankly perplexed by the numerous positive reviews… We clearly didn't have the same experience. For our part, we absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. At €214 for four people with drinks, we have the right to expect much better, both in terms of the food and the service.

18/09/2026: While hiking past, we decided to stop...and what a treat!!! A thousand times better than our packed lunch!! Perfect frog legs. Chicken breast from the Ain region with morels...wow, so tender! The excellent bread helped us finish the sauce; there wasn't a single thing left in the dish!!

21/06/2026: A very pleasant place where you can enjoy delicious food at very affordable prices, but above all, you'll savor every bite, from start to finish, all accompanied by excellent wines. As someone who occasionally dines in Michelin-starred restaurants (Bocuse, Blanc, Les Trois Gros), I can tell you that this restaurant deserves a star. You can see for yourself, but don't forget to book in advance, as it's very popular. The staff are approachable and take excellent care of their guests. The meals are homemade, and the experience is a delight for the taste buds. Don't hesitate to dine in Neuville-les-Dames. Ample parking is available for everyone's convenience.

23/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at Domaine des Cèdres. The setting is idyllic; we were able to hold our cocktail reception in the château's large park, which was nicely shaded during the heatwave. Marilyn made the organization so much easier for us, whether it was arranging additional services (babysitting, ceremony tent, benches, etc.) or simply being available. It's clear they have experience; the owner and Marilyn found solutions to all our problems, even on the morning of the wedding! There are plenty of bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, which delighted our guests! We highly recommend this venue for your future events.

07/07/2026: What a wonderful choice to celebrate our wedding! We chose Domaine des Cèdres, Pressoir side, and we couldn't have dreamed of anything better! This charming and characterful venue offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where you immediately feel at home. A huge thank you to Marilyn and Mr. Chomaz for their kindness and availability.
