15/09/2024: Met het gezin wezen eten.(2 vol. 2 kids) Kregen maar voor 1 kind eten, zouden het snel rechtzetten. Tijdens ons hoofdgerecht nog steeds geen kinder gerecht. Daarna werd het maar op tafel gegooid. Het eten zelf was het ook niet waard.

13/09/2024: Eten is wel oke. Rahmi zeer vriendelijk. Alleen bij afbreken pintransactie werd bedrag toch afgeschreven dus 2 x. Volgens hun lag fout niet bij hun maar in Ned wat niet kan. Dus duur eten vanuit eigenaar weinig begrip. Snap Ik als ue €154 fooi ontvangt. Komen daar nooit meer spenderen daar geen €1 meer.

21/09/2024: Service déplorable , extrêmement long!!! On était 4 mais à aucun moment nous n avons été servi en même temps Les plats étaient froids . Patron désagréable avec son personnel. Heureusement le serveur était agréable. Vu le nombre de resto dispo évitez celui-ci…

09/09/2024: Mauvaise expérience: nous mangions sur la terrasse quand il a commencé de pleuvoir Le personnel n'a rien fait pour récupérer nos plats et s'est refusé d'une façon grossière. Nous avons donc perdu la moitié des plats que nous avons dû payer entiers. Lieu donc d'éviter absolument.

31/08/2024: The red awning and ideal location should have alerted me to check reviews as you're wisely doing now! The entrecôte was over cooked, under seasoned, and was either not an entrecôte or was poorly sourced because it was like cutting leather: 1/4 inedible, left on the plate. The ravioli tasted like the frozen or canned variety from the supermarket, chewy and little flavour. For 17-20 euros per plate, eat somewhere else! The only reason it's in business is because tourists assume "it's France, it can't be bad..." Well, actually it can be and it is. By all means, grab some drinks and enjoy the atmosphere but skip the food! Fantastic service and ambience. Thank you!

17/09/2024: Woman who served us was extremely rude and unpleasant. The Caesar Salad was extremely Basic and not worth the money. I never felt so unwelcomed in a restaurant my whole life.

14/09/2024: Nourriture basique et sans saveurs expédiée en 30min. Considérés comme de vulgaires touristes, le but étant de libérer la table afin d’accueillir les prochains. Service néanmoins agréable et serviable.

30/08/2024: Nourriture vraiment pas bonne, accueil plus que limite (le patron invective sa serveuse devant tous les clients et bruyamment)… En bref à fuir et c’est dommage, c’était si bon avant.

15/09/2024: We had already been to eat a few years ago, we had been very well received in a very good atmosphere. At the time there was a menu we had the choice, we ate inside, the meal was really excellent a very good foie gras accompanied by a fig confit then fish and to finish a very good dessert accompanied by a good wine. But that was at the time today September 14, 2024 same restaurant when we returned I was surprised I didn't recognize the owner a young man took us upstairs and then brought us a simple card he announced the à la carte dish to us I was really very surprised in fact there wasn't much on it anymore nothing to do with the menus other times I asked him if it had changed boss not very in the know my wife took cod fillet for 23€ to lighten the bill a little I took veal with fries and tomatoes for 21€ when I saw the dishes arrived I was really very disappointed with my married the fish correct portion against the garnish very very little, mine I had the impression that the meat came our defrosted and cooked immediately no sauce a little water in the plate no flavor the garnish there was a simple little half of tomatoes and a few fries I sometimes had difficulty being able to swallow the pieces of meat. little anecdote the meal was accompanied by a small bottle of very good 50 cl rosé wine at 15€. In a hurry to leave we did not have dessert which was like 8 € we went down to pay the bill which was I will round up to 60 € I had previously asked the waiter to keep the bottle which was half opened once the bill had to be paid I took the bottle the boss looked at me with a look of surprise we weren't even allowed a small bag to put it in and we walked around with the bottle to the hand people have not seen it pass by they must have wondered what was happening I look at the comments which are not very good at all and I do not understand how this restaurant can still be managed by such a boss and that he There are still people who still come to eat in this establishment, sorry to say, but we will never set foot again, not in Gourdon but in his restaurant

14/09/2024: There was no room on the terrace, so we sat inside on the first floor by the window. What a beautiful view to the sea. The restaurant has a very limited menu. The tasting plate with local specialties is highly recommended. Very friendly service. Price/quality ratio was excellent.

29/08/2024: We had a nice dinner here, fortunately we got a table. Waiters are very nice and friendly. The food was not so special, gnocchi with gorgonzola tasted like it was made from grocery sauce. The beef tartar was very speciak, with goat cheese.

25/08/2024: I've been coming to Zapata for quite a few years and I've always been satisfied with it but this evening, the young lady who took care of our table (young woman in a long white dress) was rather unpleasant. I'm talking about his way of acting and doing things. She didn't really come when we called her to place an order, we had to travel ourselves. She had a haughty air the little she spoke to us. On the other hand, next to our table there must have been her friends because she was with them a lot, she was laughing, smoking her cigarette quietly with them etc... I have been coming to this establishment for 8 years with my group of friends. friends (and yet I live in 83 now) and it's the first time I've seen a service like that! I'm not going to penalize the establishment because of a single employee (because the others are always on top 🙂) but something should be done with this young lady so that she can question herself a little.

02/09/2024: We spent 3 nights with four people, certainly the rooms are a little in poor condition but not at 100 euros per night for 4 people in August, what more is asked for. Very good restaurant on the terrace, very reasonable prices, very good cocktails, a really top team... Bravo, I'll keep the address, it's safe

27/08/2024: 3.4/5 not deserved. Superb places with incredible charm on the edge of a river (view of the river from the room as well). The complex, we can say that in view of the many faces of the building, is made up of a hotel, restaurant at the top, restaurant at the bottom with bar (with a wide choice of alcohol) and kitchen opening onto a large sheltered terrace (beach bar restaurant type, I loved it)) all in a charming old renovated building with public parking below the restaurant. Really pleasant and spacious air-conditioned room, parental and child bedroom separated by a 3m corridor with 2 toilets, ideal! Pretty bathroom, in the style of the building, as in the photos. In the bedrooms, exposed beams (still charming), 2 LED televisions, one of which is a really satisfactory size for the parents' bedroom and sufficient for the children's. Comfortable bedding. 5 minutes from the sea by car with parking everywhere, parking seen from the room that was the best Possibility of walking along the river in the shade of the trees. Giant pétanque court 2 minutes walk away. Bakery and grocery store right next door. Friendly welcome by the manager. The bar restaurant, I thought I read “expensive” in a review. Excuse me, but a cocktail for 9 euros, a filet of angus beef with fries and salad for 25 euros, a starter to share for 16 euros, I don't find that expensive. It's the Côte d'Azur sir, if you want to eat cheaper you have to go to Mac Do because here we pay the same thing. A really cheap room rate, a hotel room in the area in the middle of August at 100 euros frankly... Personally, if my wife told me we were going back to the coast and asked me to choose the hotel, I knew where I would go. And if all customers left comments the rating on Google would definitely not be the same.

21/09/2024: Non sapendo dove andare a mangiare tra gli innumerevoli ristoranti a mentone, io e il mio compagno ci siamo addentrati in questa piazzetta e un signore ci ha addescati ad andare a mangiare nel locale per cui lavora con un offerta imperdibile, ovvero un orata con due verdure (contate di numero) di contorno, dolce, CARAFFA D'ACQUA e coperto al modico prezzo di 20€ ciascuno. Essendo che mentone è comunque abbastanza cara, il prezzo ci ha fatto gola e ci siamo seduti. Al momento dell'ordinazione, scegliamo di bere acqua gasata, pensando fosse comprensivo nel prezzo come il cameriere ci aveva detto ed addescato proprio per questa "promozione ". Si presenta dunque con una misera bottiglietta da mezzo litro, versandocela nel bicchiere come se fosse del vino pregiato. Ovviamente per una cena in due, mezzo litro e scontato non basti, quindi ne abbiamo ordinata un'altra, giusto per finire almeno la cena senza essere arsi come nel deserto. Al momento del conto, si presenta nello scontrino la voce acqua al prezzo non tanto vantaggioso di €5,50 a bottiglietta, e vorrei precisare che io al momento dell'ordine, non ho visto alcun tipo di menu e di prezzo dell'acqua, togliendo il fatto che ci hanno palesemente preso in giro con la storia della promozione. Chiedendo spiegazioni, ci hanno risposto dicendo "eh ma tu l'hai chiesta gasata, io lavoro solo qui e i prezzi non li faccio io" quando si poteva benissimo usare la professionalità e la cordialità chiedendo scusa ed evitando di farci pagare l'acqua come da promesse fatte inizialmente per farci sedere. Detto ciò, solito locale di italiani che cercano di fregare il prossimo addescando le loro "prede" con offerte inesistenti. Non ci tornerò mai più.

05/09/2024: The restaurant has a nice setting, that's why we stopped. We were captured by a voluble man. He immediately offered us beer and a few arancini. Then he was gone. The arancini were mini and the beer was extremely expensive. Then we had unfriendly service and because the prices were too high we chose burgers with fries. Cheapest quality, not a spark of love in the dish. Paid €65 with a bleeding heart. I'm sorry. Absolute tourist trap!

23/08/2024: Opéra plage has changed a lot over the years... The deckchairs are so close together, I spent the day glued to a stranger! and at the price of 30€! No carafe of water service, forced to pay €5 for a small bottle of water. The meal was okay, fortunately! Very disappointed I will not come back again.

22/08/2024: I have been to more than 50 destinations, I found the worst services ever here. The very slow and unfriendly waiters 3 times I told them that I wanted to order something, they told me that they would come to take the order and they still haven't come today :)) the price-service ratio is beyond criticism. Shame

24/08/2024: Varied menu, daily specials, very warm welcome, excellent service. Specialty and other. We ate well there.

22/08/2024: Very centrally located restaurant near the shopping mile. Opposite is the bus stop. Had a very tasty cheese pizza.
