14/08/2026: Visited on August 13, 2026. The price was not commensurate with the portion size. You can easily find better nearby. They take advantage of tourists passing through, knowing they won't be back.

12/08/2026: A delight from start to finish. The food is excellent. The grilled sea bream is truly delicious, and the tiramisu is superb. Occasionally, the waiters made a few minor oversights that we had to point out, but nothing serious. We were there as a family. The meals were fantastic.

06/08/2026: I don't know where to begin. The service was beyond bad. One cook and one waitress for the entire place, and it took over an hour to get a meal. The waitress does what she can, and the cook does too, but for the prices they charge, they should be significantly better. The food was bland, completely tasteless. It was practically a waste of money. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

01/08/2026: We had dinner with 11 adults and one child. It was a fantastic place and we'd definitely go back. The service was excellent, friendly, and attentive, and the crepes were delicious, both savory and sweet. Highly recommended.

There's a real buzz about the place, and it shows in the food: generous portions, great flavor...it has it all. The cuttlefish is perfect, and the homemade tiramisu is superb. Go without hesitation... Bravo to the whole team!

The site is vast and stunning, the facilities are top-notch, and the staff are kind and attentive. 27/05/2026: This campsite lives up to its name, "The End of the World." Overall, we really enjoyed it for a long weekend, especially as a family with children. It has a rural style, and its farm, lake, and terrace are definitely its strong points. I'd highlight that it's a great campsite if you want to be surrounded by nature, and I also find it perfect because it's about 20 minutes from Castelnaudary, which is worth a visit to try their Cassoulet and take a stroll along the canal, including a walk to the five locks.

11/09/2026: We had lunch at the Café Brasserie de la Promenade in Lagrasse. Our first pleasant surprise: the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant offers two set menus, one for €19 with a starter, main course, and dessert, and the other for €26, as well as an à la carte menu. The latter is rather limited, but this is actually quite nice: it features several local products, which is a real plus and fits well with the restaurant's ethos. The food is simple, unpretentious, but generally quite good. However, we did have a few reservations, which may have been largely due to the fact that the restaurant was extremely busy at lunchtime. We felt that the staff perhaps hadn't expected so many customers and that the service was a little overwhelmed by the crowds. We had chosen a dish with ratatouille advertised as homemade. It may indeed have been prepared on-site, but we had our doubts about the use of fresh vegetables. We found this disappointing, as we were really expecting a good homemade ratatouille, especially since, with good vegetables, it's a side dish that can be excellent without being particularly complicated to make. However, we prefer to attribute this disappointment to the busy service and the possibility that they simply didn't have enough prepared ratatouille left. Regarding the service, we encountered two very different people. The first was very professional, dynamic, and knew her job perfectly: menu, dishes, wines… she could answer our questions and was very efficient. The second told us she had only arrived four days earlier. We can certainly understand that someone is still learning. However, working in the hospitality industry ourselves, we were a little surprised that she had to systematically go and find out the information every time we asked a question about the menu or the ingredients of the dishes, especially since the menu is relatively short. Again, we think the high volume of customers probably didn't help matters. Another point that caught our attention was the restrooms. They are very old, and we noticed toilet paper on the floor. It's difficult to draw a definitive conclusion, as it was extremely busy at lunchtime, which could obviously have affected the state of the facilities during service. Finally, we were quite surprised by the layout of the place. The bar is relatively large, while the kitchen, and especially the food preparation area, seemed extremely small compared to the number of covers served. We really wondered how the staff manages to produce so many plates in such a small space during a busy service. In short, our experience was rather mixed, but we don't want to be too categorical after just one meal, especially given the high volume of customers. The positive aspects are definitely there: very reasonable prices, a deliberately simple menu, the use of local products, generally good food, and some particularly professional staff members. We'll likely return to form a more complete opinion, particularly to retry the dishes, the famous ratatouille, and see if our reservations about the service, restrooms, and organization were simply due to the exceptionally high lunchtime crowd. An interesting first experience, with potential, but one that we believe deserves to be confirmed on a future visit.

27/08/2026: A lovely place in a beautiful, charming street decorated with colorful garlands. The blonde beer was excellent, and the food was very good too. The only downside is that the portions are not particularly generous and the prices are a little high, although in line with other nearby places. That said, we had a very pleasant evening right at the foot of the medieval city.

03/01/2026: I discovered this bakery/pastry shop quite by chance during my recent stay in Carcassonne, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Freshness, quality, price, service—everything is perfect. I highly recommend it.

31/08/2026: We visit the bar every few years and had another wonderful evening there yesterday. I can't agree with the negative reviews from the German complainers at all: the food is excellent, the view is beautiful. You do have to make a reservation, like everywhere else in France. And yes, your feet are sometimes in the wet sand because it is, after all, a beach bar. I find it refreshing and unique. Therefore, I don't understand the complaints in the reviews at all. You can always find a parking space, and dogs are welcome. The staff speaks excellent English, and some also speak German. Regarding the food: this year I was particularly surprised by the top quality. I had tuna, and the others had chicken sandwiches.
