08/12/2024: This lovely place serves possibly the best galettes in France (as well as many other excellent dishes), generous and delicious, a must do in Quillan. Very friendly staff, always busy so good idea to book ahead.

03/12/2024: Lost in a picturesque valley in the town of Quillan, Le Demi-Sel is a Breton crepe restaurant that seduces with its bucolic setting. With its location on the main avenue, slightly off-center from the center, it remains easily accessible and invites you to take a gourmet break in a relaxed atmosphere. During my visit, I opted for several savory and sweet crepes, but the experience was mixed. The buckwheat pancakes, although generously filled with products of impeccable quality, disappointed me with their dough. It lacked cooking, crispness, and that typical buttery taste which gives all its charm to real Breton pancakes. This detail hampered the authenticity of the dish, but fortunately, the freshness and flavor of the interior ingredients made up for this imperfection. For dessert, my sweet tooth took over, and I let myself be tempted by two sweets. The apple crumble was simply delicious: balanced, tender, with a subtle touch of spices that warms the heart. Then, the caramandine caught my attention, as much by its poetic name as by my curiosity to taste their salted butter caramel. This dessert crepe convinced me, with a rich and tasty caramel that perfectly met my expectations. Although it is not the best caramel I have tasted, it remains a success overall. The service is provided by a young and dynamic team, who demonstrate professionalism while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere. In summary, if the pancake dough deserves improvement to achieve Breton excellence, the quality of the fillings and desserts makes this place a nice address. Le Demi-Sel is a pleasant stopover, perfect for lovers of good flavors in an enchanting setting.

29/09/2024: We loved this restaurant but it has changed, the quality of the products has dropped, the staff do not necessarily understand our questions... a dessert is no longer on the menu and nothing is reported at the start of the meal. The menu looks gloomy (torn and damaged). Too disappointed we won't go back there again, too bad.

28/09/2024: We came to celebrate some good news and treat ourselves to a bottle of champagne to share. Very short choice and after a long wait before someone deigned to take our order. After another 10 minutes, they don't have what we order and offer us a superior vintage at a much more expensive price... of course. We suggest leaving... hot or cold. I advise this establishment to convert into a post office. Everything except bar. We go opposite.

03/04/2025: A very good hotel-restaurant at the foot of the citadel. Beautiful, clean and well-equipped rooms, free private parking and a very good restaurant with good local and other dishes. This establishment has an excellent quality/price/location ratio and very welcoming staff. Finally, the hotel is in a very quiet area.

02/11/2024: They don't even have a vegetarian dish!! And the attention is a disaster, zero interest in customers. We had a dirty table and they didn't clean it at any time.

22/08/2024: One of the oldest breweries at the entrance to the pedestrian street. 5 minutes from the station. 2 minutes from the “Chénier” bus stop. A place where you feel good… Go there and give me some news.

31/08/2024: Waiters / waitresses who are a little rough in serving dishes that are too salty, average cuisine compared to the price (too expensive) nothing transcendent I do not recommend Sorry but you will have to do better much better to see me again

29/08/2024: À éviter absolument ! Nous sommes venus pour un déjeuner en amoureux et, à première vue, le restaurant semblait prometteur. Malheureusement, l'expérience a été décevante. L'attente a été interminable : 40 minutes pour recevoir nos boissons et 1 heure pour les plats, alors qu'il n'y avait que trois tables occupées en terrasse. Les portions étaient ridiculement petites, surtout pour les pommes de terre, et les burgers étaient servis sans sauce. Aucun intérêt culinaire, le service laisse à désirer. Passez votre chemin, il y a bien mieux ailleurs !
