31/03/2026: €7 for a Desperados beer that sells for €1.20 at Carrefour, and not even a glass, straight from the bottle! Even on the Champs-Élysées it's not that expensive! I understand that bars need to make a profit, but this... is that serious?

08/02/2026: Excellent evening, great music and a fantastic atmosphere. A huge thank you to the bartender, Eugénie she was incredibly friendly, quick, and always smiling. Impeccable bar service!

19/04/2026: We ate at this establishment today; the welcome was friendly, the service efficient, and the meat delicious, well-cooked, and very tender. You can go there without hesitation.

18/04/2026: Appalling service, neglected welcome, completely disinterested staff who only care about finishing their shift. The food is school cafeteria quality, thanks METRO!! A tourist trap to avoid, unless you enjoy watching waiters sitting on chairs watching you finish your plate while they continue their conversation about the interminable service (at 9 pm on a Saturday night, mind you). You won't be seeing us again, and being from here, you can count on us to spread the word about your deplorable welcome and service.

15/05/2026: Les Halles is a hectic venue, but this has been a reliable place for us to get a lunch, enjoy the food and drink, and most of all survey the activity. If you are new to Les Halles, avoid the weekends and ease into the experience. With practice you will be able to enjoy the weekends as well as the locals. :-) Service here is brisk but friendly. When it is time to pay, bring the waiter’s note to the middle of the place, cash only. Someone will have occupied your seats before you get halfway there.

04/05/2026: Hello, As a newcomer to the area, I decided to stop for a meal at Le Central. (2020) On the terrace overlooking the Aude River, shaded by parasols, the setting is pleasant, the service is quick, and the food is very well presented. The dishes are generous and delicious. It's a place suitable for both families and those just passing through. The prices are reasonable. Don't hesitate. I returned two weeks later. The Camembert was perfectly cooked, everything was fantastic, a truly generous plate, nothing to say except perfect. Thank you to the chefs. Note: Change of ownership, update... 22/05/2026: I enjoy coming to spend time at the wine bar, but I was quite surprised by the change; the food quality was mediocre. This establishment has become a tourist trap.

10/05/2026: A pleasant little inn with delicious food. The waitresses are very attentive to the customers. The background music is very discreet.

08/05/2026: Very disappointing. The €20 menu is a tourist trap... the rabbit terrine is actually a jelly of...? The ribeye steak was full of sinew and fat... the onion gratin wasn't gratin at all, the onions were just boiled.

17/05/2026: Half an hour for a decaf and a cappuccino... which were pathetic and cold! Endless wait. 7 euros. They added whipped cream...^^

16/05/2026: I went there with friends just for a drink, and the place is great! The staff is welcoming and friendly. I'm not from Carcassonne, but I'll definitely stop by again if I'm ever in the area.

08/11/2025: We were looking for a good cassoulet and found the perfect place. It's listed on the menu as "cassoulet à ma façon" and it's spectacular. Served in a cocotte, it has a subtle smokiness when uncovered and delicious meats—especially the duck confit. We paired it with a red wine recommended by the waiter, the ideal match. 🍷 Thank you for such a rich and authentic experience.
