13/08/2024: Very friendly welcome. Affordable menus. Or salads that aren't too expensive either. It was very good. My coke hadn't gone sour when I opened it, the waitress warned me and told me to let her know if it was more carbonated.
The artisanal sausage was very good. And forest pasta too. Also the vegetable pie of the day.
A little less on the desserts but still good. Panacota a little too sweet for my taste but it's a question of taste. Waitress attentive and friendly.

Small suggestion, 7 hour pork, the string should be removed from the plates.
Be careful with the servers to be more "attentive" to the customers ;o)

Il y a des restaurants gourmands et des rencontres qui ne nous laisse pas indifférent. Tu portais un pull bleu électrisant et après quelques regards échangés, me voilà à ta recherche. Vous jugerez ici peut être, mon commentaire inapproprié, mais cette rencontre je ne peux pas l'oublier. Alors voilà, je jette une bouteille à la mer dans l'espoir de te retrouver...

Nous avons commandé l'apéritif qui n'est jamais arrivé.. suite à cela je commande une salade où il manque des ingrédients..
Concernant les desserts, il est demandé une glace et une brioche façon pain perdu avec un changement de parfum à cause des allergies. De la la glace arrive avec les mauvais parfums ainsi que la brioche. Il est proposé un changement qui n'arrivera jamais.
Lors de l'encaissement il est dit que nous avons échangé nous même les glaces pour faire exprès.... bien sur nous avons payé les desserts alors que nous avons pas touché...
En résumé nous n'y retournerons plus !

The waiting time is a little longer but quite normal during the season but it is worth it to enjoy good dishes, especially fresh fish.
Most during the summer season, the straw hut on the sandy floor where you can enjoy cocktails, eat tapas with a bottle of Corbières or simply drink a beer facing the sea. During the session the team is made up of seasonal students. This in no way prevents good service, friendliness and a smile. Well done team!

03/04/2025: A very good hotel-restaurant at the foot of the citadel. Beautiful, clean and well-equipped rooms, free private parking and a very good restaurant with good local and other dishes. This establishment has an excellent quality/price/location ratio and very welcoming staff. Finally, the hotel is in a very quiet area.

07/09/2024: We have tried several restaurants in the Carcassonne region over a weeks period. Until today, we have suffered from getting poor quality, over priced food that is not what we are used to in France.
Today changed that. We read a few reviews of a little bar/restaurant in Arzens and decided to give it a try. And it was well worth the visit. Home made food with lots of flavour at a reasonable price. Service was good. The only negative for us was the smoking - supposed to be illegal to smoke inside public areas but not the case here the bar. The strong smell did affect our experience.
03/09/2024: Apart from the waitress who is nice, tasteless pizzas, pieces of uncooked chicken in a Hawaiian place that is not clean. Does not deserve the name restoration.
