04/12/2025: An excellent experience at this gourmet restaurant nestled in the heart of Aix-en-Provence. We chose the seven-course tasting menu to discover new flavors, and we both left thoroughly impressed! The flavor combinations were as comforting as they were surprising, and the value for money is unbeatable for a menu of this type! The staff was very pleasant throughout the meal, and the chef was attentive to allergies. A must-try if you're ever in Aix.

29/10/2025: An incredible place, cuisine just as we dreamed of that evening, 100% local produce, and meat cooked to perfection over a wood fire (the duck breast)! The scallops as a starter were cooked to perfection, and for me, the cod fillet with its generous and exquisite confit of forgotten vegetables as a main course was a delight. Finally, the fig crumble for dessert was simply marvelous (well, if I had to suggest one improvement, it could have used a little more fruit for my taste, and there was too much crust). But in short, everything was top-notch! Please don't change the authenticity at all... Thank you again, and congratulations, I highly recommend it!

26/10/2025: A great discovery, we stopped by chance with our son and our dog, looking for a place to stop for lunch. This restaurant is really very pleasant, we had lunch on the terrace surrounded by nature. We appreciated this beautiful cuisine with quality ingredients. The pan-fried foie gras is superb and the duck too. The fish is beautifully cooked with successful accompaniments. For lovers of quality in a calm and pleasant setting.

24/11/2024: The decor of the pizzeria may not be great but the friendly welcome and service more than makes up for it. In addition, the pizzas are good and generously garnished with quality products.

21/09/2024: The daily menu is excellent value for money (€20 main course and dessert); the à la carte dishes are more expensive but varied (meat, fish, salad, vegetarian). Glad to have discovered Saussoun sauce, Mistral's favorite it seems... In any case it's excellent traditional cuisine. The service was quick and friendly.

20/01/2025: We had an excellent stay at the Grand Hôtel Roi René. The room was very nicely decorated with the added bonus of L'Occitane products. The plus: a large terrace! The service was excellent. When we arrived, we were greeted by Lisa who was very professional, friendly and gave good advice. The restaurant left us with a memorable memory, the dishes being equally succulent as each other, from starter to dessert, and the service was efficient and pleasant. We hope to return soon for more pleasant moments in Aix!

16/09/2025: An exceptional meal!!! Delicious and hearty dishes. The chef strives to please his customers. We ate at this restaurant twice, in August and September. Each time, we experienced a rare moment. The chef manages to make classic dishes (for example, the salt cod brande or the celery remoulade) exceptional.

08/09/2025: In a city that loves blended cuisine, there remains an indomitable chef who delights everyone with dishes full of Southern flavors! Jean-Luc Rabanel eschews trends in favor of precise and very gourmet cuisine. The dishes are generous! We'll be back!

04/07/2025: This is a hidden gem in Marseilles. We were starving (nothing is open between the hours of 3 and 7 in this town and we didn’t know that when we took a day trip here). The owner opened her kitchen and fed our family. She was so kind and welcoming. The food was absolutely homemade and fantastic quality. Absolutely worth the visit- especially if you want quality food, exceptional service, and to feel right at home with a beautiful view.

05/11/2024: If you have the chance to get a table at this extremely charming place, it’s absolutely worth it. Just observing how this place is run is a spectacle on its own. We ordered everything on the menu and it was absolutely delicious. I recommend the gambas in pastis 200%.

Une carte simple, naturelle et créative, bien plus raffinée qu'on ne pourrait l'imaginer, mais pas plus chère pour autant. Service sympathique et professionnel. Rapport qualité-prix excellent.
