23/02/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and have absolutely no regrets... the setting is magnificent from the outside to the inside, with its chic bistro feel. The walls are adorned with black and white photos of actors and actresses who have graced the silver screen. A huge fireplace stands in the very center of the room. The cuisine is refined; if I remember correctly, the butternut squash velouté with parmesan and truffle shavings was a delight ❤️ and the mushroom and truffle vol-au-vent with pollock on a bed of crushed potatoes was delicious. We didn't have dessert this time as we were in a hurry, but we'll be back. Finally, the service was warm and truly attentive. In short... go for it!

30/01/2026: Excellent experience this lunchtime. A straightforward dish, but what a dish! Chef Joan, in addition to being very friendly, is a true master of his craft: a truly exceptional chicken with Vin Jaune and morels. A delicious Mont Blanc to finish. My only regret was being in a hurry. And a special mention to the very friendly young staff who also served us. I can't wait to come back in the evening to enjoy the fireplace. Well done and thank you.

11/03/2026: The tables are too close together, the seating is uncomfortable. It's too noisy. The food is good, the service a bit slow. The owner thinks he's running a gourmet restaurant; he needs to come back down to earth.

14/03/2026: What a pleasure it was to be welcomed at the AO restaurant! Arthur (the Chef and Owner) and his entire team are professional, attentive, and extremely friendly. The menu is enticing, offering original creations, regional dishes, and modern twists, all perfectly executed. The soothing decor invites you to relax and enjoy. The bull tartare is simply divine, the lamb chops succulent, and the desserts a delight. Thank you again for everything that contributed to making our wedding anniversary a truly successful celebration. Highly recommended!

12/03/2026: The personel is friendly and speaks a decent word English, which is usefull since our French is minimal. The food is good and prices are allright. We enjoyed our dinner here. It's located at a busy road, but this gives you plenty to view and there is a light breese which is nice on hot days.

06/04/2026: I kinda hate gushing about places, however I really liked this place. Amongst all the mid places to eat in the old town area of Aix, this place really stood out. First off, the place has a feel. Old wood, generations of families type of feel. I just kinda leaned into it and let the server (proprietor?) guide me. Went with the "house specialties" of the barigoule d'artichaut and followed up with the Gigotin d'agneau and finished off with the lavender crème brulée. On the beverage side, I started off with a kir and let him guide me through the rest of the dinner with glasses of wine. All excellent.

29/03/2026: woah ! we had the artichoke starter then two mains - the sea bass fillet and lamb cooked for 30 hours on the bone.. flavourful and authentic. such a great rustic and home-y gem of a restaurant. highly recommended !!

05/04/2026: My friend and I came for my birthday for the first time and we had a very friendly time and a lovely surprise: cake, a little parade with music by DJ Mam's, a warm welcome, homemade food, pizza 😋, cocktails, a very smiley waitress. Come sing, eat, and laugh with the regulars and a superb team, including the security! Thank you to everyone, right down to the kitchen staff!!! Go OM! La Marseillaise and La Parisienne, 🍀🥳🌞

03/04/2026: A very enjoyable evening at La Brocherie. We were a table of 18 and all the dishes arrived at the same time, so kudos to the service! As for the food, the cuts of meat were beautiful, cooked perfectly, and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.

We dined there twice and loved it: excellent bouillabaisse, attentive and careful service, and perfectly prepared fish. 22/03/2026: Almost flawless! Excellent service, the staff is very pleasant! The gratinated mussels were superb, the tarama was good (but the blinis could perhaps be improved). Unfortunately, the octopus was overcooked. Despite this, I recommend it; the setting is beautiful.

20/03/2026: I'll start with the best part: The food was excellent, no complaints there. The service was mediocre. The manager practically laughed at us several times. With prices like those on the menu, we expected much better. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant.
