03/05/2026: A superb discovery in Marseille! La Poule Noire is located on a quiet little street; from the moment you step inside, you'll receive a professional and warm welcome. We dined on the small upstairs terrace.
The food was flawless. For €54, you get a complete menu including an amuse-bouche, starter, main course, and dessert. The menu offers a varied selection, and the flavors are cleverly combined to create a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it!

We had Maison Charlie at the foot of our rental and the location cannot be beat!!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! Highly recommend

27/04/2026: A lovely spot that retains its authentic charm despite the touristy nature of the area. We had a great meal, and the terrace is well laid out so everyone has plenty of space, some in the sun and some in the shade. Perhaps a little more attention to the decor is in order?
22/04/2026: We had chosen this restaurant for lunch during our stay in Marseille.
Apparently, they weren't happy about having a child with us; they let several people go ahead of us even though we had arrived earlier. Then, they said "no more room" without a word of apology, even though there were still tables available on the terrace! Extremely disappointed, we had to look for another restaurant.

The dishes are generous and excellent, high-quality and original. The service is impeccable.
Highly recommended.
