22/09/2024: We had a beautiful birthday dinner in the lovely fountain courtyard outside of the restaurant. The food and wine were delicious and this will always be a memorable evening.

09/09/2024: On the recommendation of a high-flying critic in whom I trust Stevie Wonderienne, I had a dinner at Criquet during my visit to Arles. My trust was rewarded. We enjoy the warm Criquet: yes, I say warm because the dishes are as warm as the service. The artichoke carpaccio is a delight that whets the appetite by coating the palate with a sweet acidity. The aioli (a specialty of the house) is fine, yes… fine! No risk of oral aggression afterwards, pfuuiiiit, total neutralization. Do you see what I mean? normally the aioli becomes your dirty friend for the evening which sticks to your breath like chewing gum to the sole.... well no, niente, nada. The fish and vegetables are perfectly cooked and the broth perfectly comforting. Everything is perfectly perfect in fact, right down to the welcome of the 2 sisters (they can't hide it that they are sisters...) who go from table to table with gentleness, efficiency and equipped with a smile in the colors of the south. 08/09/2024: We had a wonderful meal in the private, narrow, courtyard next to this restaurant on our first night in Arles. Besides the setting, the fresh seafood and ingredients made it very memorable. Tres bien!!

12/09/2024: Great gem of a find in a tucked away pocket of Marseille. You may have no other reason to visit this part of town but Abaco alone was worth it! We spoke to the chef who checked in with us multiple times as he and his mother looked after us for a lunch. And the bouillabaisse is worth it, and a great price compared to larger institutions!

24/08/2024: Real Marseille bouillabaisse. For once it’s authentic! Fresh and very well prepared fish. Managed by very friendly people from Marseille. Don't hesitate, it's a change from tourist traps...

09/09/2024: A very pleasant setting whether on the terrace or inside. Efficient and professional staff. Extremely refined gourmet cuisine, a blend of flavors that go together perfectly. We opted for a tasting menu at 82€/person (5 services). Considering the quality of the products, there is a very good quality/price ratio. The little extra, easy-access free parking. We will return with pleasure!

08/09/2024: Good morning, A very correct address, we have experienced better and worse so it is placed in the middle, the expected is there and that is already good. (A good point) Very good value for money. The dishes are not complexly prepared but they are well done and mastered. Decent terrace even if our visit was a little spoiled by an excessive number of flies/bees. And if on the side of the road I was not disturbed by the passage of vehicles which at lunchtimes are few and far between. The tip/top pizzas I recommend: wood-fired, their size is correct and they are good. In summary, a nice place to visit and keep in mind if you don't know where to eat. Lunch menu (dish of the day & dessert of the day) very affordable with good quantity of dish, nothing to complain about. I notice a bit about the service: order arriving late or drink forgotten, we were unable to call the waitress to get a steak knife (which I advise you to use as a base on the lamb), so we decided is sorted out. These are not serious faults but do not make me give 5 stars to allow progress. I recommend slow cooking lamb, it's tender, the sauce is good, top, top, top!

10/09/2024: Very pleasant restaurant, the terrace is warm and family-friendly without lacking in charm. Super friendly staff, and the food is tasty and well presented, without being murdered on price. The only downside is that the cocktails are served quite "raw" and without pretty presentation like the dishes can be. But they are still very good :)

17/09/2024: Always a pleasure to eat in this very welcoming place. The service is fast and pleasant. Real know-how in the kitchen, we have never been disappointed. The open kitchen is a real bonus for us who love interacting directly with the kitchen.

19/09/2024: Very nice and quiet place. Very kind staff. Good food, good service. The only downside is the trash cans on the parking side, the odor of which is sometimes too strong when you are “on the terrace side of the restaurant”

29/09/2024: We opted for the Bistrot menu (€39) Michelin (€49). The dishes are elaborate and good overall (the risotto was super salty but otherwise everything else was OK). The pleasant and responsive service.

10/07/2024: Sympathischer Koch und Eigentümer, sehr freundliche Kellnerin und gute Qualität zeichnen dieses kleine sehr authentische Lokal aus. Es gibt täglich eine Empfehlung vom Chef mit der Möglichkeit sich die Hauptzutat (Fisch, Fleisch, vegetarisch etc) selbst auszuwählen.

05/04/2024: Fresh and tasty lunches with daily specials and fantastic desserts. I loved the meatballs and the lasagna. It’s the perfect spot to soak in the sun and enjoy some healthy and delicious food in the city.

11/09/2024: A must-see in Aix-en-Provence! As soon as you enter, you are seduced by the warm and intimate atmosphere of the place, ideal for an evening with friends or alone. The wine list is carefully selected, with surprising discoveries on each visit. And what about tapas? A pure treat! A big thank you to the team for these moments! I recommend with your eyes closed. 👏🍷

21/09/2024: The daily menu is excellent value for money (€20 main course and dessert); the à la carte dishes are more expensive but varied (meat, fish, salad, vegetarian). Glad to have discovered Saussoun sauce, Mistral's favorite it seems... In any case it's excellent traditional cuisine. The service was quick and friendly.
