17/05/2026: Booked for a family stay of 15 people with half-board. A single main course and breakfast were included. The room was clean. There was no usable indoor space during the day or evening for working or playing cards. The meals were adequate, but don't expect anything special. The hotel staff, while smiling and friendly, have strong personalities, for better or for worse.

15/05/2026: Two person room was a bit small but clean. Service is very friendly!

12/08/2026: A truly unpleasant experience today. I was accosted by an employee who was worried about her parked car, which she claimed I'd bumped while weaving my way to an empty space with my bike in hand. I assured her I hadn't touched her car, but without even checking, she made it clear she didn't believe me (she "didn't know" if I was telling the truth). There are certainly better ways to be received. Then, I was lectured by a very gallant customer who couldn't fathom how anyone could talk back to a lady... (As a woman, she's probably not capable of defending herself against even the slightest objection). Very macho and perhaps a little too drunk, he generously promised me a "smack" without me having said a word. I had the weakness to reply with a word whose variant, perhaps tolerated by Google, is "idiot" 🤔. His response, however, cannot be quoted here, but it alludes to my mother's lineage, who supposedly had a job that required long walks on the sidewalk... given that I have short hair and he must have had unpleasant experiences with the police, he also calls me a name that reveals his admiration for this profession: dirty... etc. While he's showering me with insults, an employee comes by twice in the middle of the night to remind me that I shouldn't be insulting. He just neglects to remind the customer (probably a regular... that gives him certain privileges). At the checkout, I tried again to reason with the employee who was worried about her car, expressing surprise that despite all her fuss, she hadn't checked her door. Busy cleaning, she calmly replied that she didn't understand why I was responding to her accusations (apparently I wasn't playing along... she just wanted to liven things up a bit, "Marseille-style"?). The cashier, for her part, told me she was "shocked" to see me walk so close to her colleague's car, armed with my bicycle. She, too, "didn't know," but she had her suspicions about imaginary scratches. What bothers me is that the incident was caused by an employee, and that a customer with highly questionable behavior (physical threats, insults, including against the police) wasn't put in his place at all by the employee who intervened to restore order... to me, that amounts to complicity. Fully aware that I have written a novel, but wanting to calmly denounce inappropriate, insulting, and stupid behavior...which could be reproduced at the whim of these ladies and gentlemen...

27/09/2026: Avoid at all costs! The parking lot wasn't small enough, so they decided to install electric vehicle charging stations! What's more, an employee will literally bark at you if you accidentally park there!

23/09/2026: We placed a large order through Uber Eats and were disappointed because the bread was hard and impossible to slice (even though we asked them to slice it, they didn't). There were also items missing from the order (chocolate croissants, regular bread, etc.). We called because it was for a birthday. The person we spoke to laughed in our faces and said they couldn't do anything. It's unacceptable that such a large order would result in these issues. We filed a complaint with Uber Eats. Don't use Uber Eats if you don't know how to manage orders. Sincerely :)

06/01/2026: We came to this restaurant for our New Year's Eve meal on January 1st, 2026, for the first time, and we weren't disappointed. The meal was very good without being too heavy, which was a plus! The service was also good, with a pause between each course. We will definitely return on other occasions!

02/01/2026: We discovered this restaurant today with a friend. A real treat! Everything was perfect: excellent food, delicious desserts, and a wonderful decor and atmosphere. Our only complaint is that we were short on time (work) and would have loved to have had more time. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the warm welcome as well.

10/09/2026: A centrally located establishment, ideal for lunch while sightseeing. The staff is very warm, friendly, and helpful! A simple menu with reasonably priced set menus; the meat is good and well-cooked. The burgers are also very good. And for those with a sweet tooth, the gourmet coffee is a must! Good value for money! Recommended!

30/10/2025: We arrived with three children and six adults and received a warm welcome, excellent service, and perfect dishes (mussels and meat). The chef and waiters were very friendly. No complaints whatsoever.

22/09/2026: The service was very welcoming, the portions were generous and delicious! The prices are reasonable: the lunch menu is very well presented and excellent. Plus, the atmosphere is lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant!

19/09/2026: On September 17th at noon, I ordered the following two meals and a glass of wine at your restaurant. Due to a malfunction in the credit card machine, although the first payment showed as successful, no receipt was printed. Therefore, I paid a second time. Today, I discovered that my bank account has been charged two separate amounts of €53 each. Could you please verify this and contact me for a refund? The restaurant offers excellent service and generous portions; highly recommended!

10/08/2026: ⭐ Very disappointing review I used to come to this ice cream shop about ten years ago, and unfortunately, I found that the establishment had changed a great deal. I bought a pastry for €6.70 and was very disappointed: I found it very greasy, very sweet, and particularly dense, with a price-quality ratio that didn't convince me. I was also quite bothered by what seemed to me to be very questionable hygiene. The bin was overflowing, which gives a bad impression when you're there to eat in. Finally, I was served a glass of water in a very hot glass, which is quite surprising for serving water. It's a real shame, because I had fond memories of this place ten years ago. For me, today's experience is far from what I had known before.

10/08/2026: To think this place used to be a Marseille institution, the delicious pastries are definitely a thing of the past… a Castel and a caramel mille-feuille at €6.70 each… how can I put it? A taste of grease and sugar in the mouth, and a far from warm welcome… In short, I won't be going back; there's no point with pastries this bad.

13/09/2026: A very bad experience. I stopped at this establishment only because I had an emergency and politely asked if it was possible to use the restroom. The waitress, a blonde woman, replied in a very curt and condescending manner: "Well, you have to buy something." I can perfectly understand that an establishment reserves its restrooms for its customers, but there's a way to speak to people, especially when someone explains they're in an urgent situation. A little respect and consideration would have been appreciated. I left particularly shocked by her attitude and the way she spoke down to me. I hadn't been to this establishment before this incident, and clearly, this behavior will make me have no desire to order anything there or return. One thing is certain: the service is just as important as what's on the plate or in the glass.
