13/12/2025: Since the meats were halal, we couldn't eat some of the dishes on offer. A shame. Indeed, devout Christians cannot eat halal for religious reasons (just as devout Muslims cannot eat non-halal). And there's deli meat on the menu: fine for Christians but not for Muslims. Everything is mixed together. A strange concept. In any case, what we ate wasn't to our liking at all. Friendly staff.

10/12/2025: We had a very good time, both in terms of the service and the food.

13/03/2026: I've been reading the reviews and I'm very surprised. Personally, I've always been very well received there (and I don't even know them). Whether it's for drinks or lunch, it's great. The only downside is the noise from the ambulances and police cars when they use the tram tracks, but that's not their fault.

28/02/2026: It's becoming difficult to find a good meal at a reasonable price in Place Castellane. The service was pleasant and quick. Thank you!

16/01/2026: Responsive service, appealing daily menu, good quality steak (flank steak), well-portioned (neither too much nor too little). Nothing extraordinary, but it's good and the price is reasonable. Downstairs in the vaulted cellar, it has a surprisingly intimate, cellar-like feel. One major drawback: no Wi-Fi. A shame.

29/03/2026: I'm giving it one star because I can't give zero. The service was appalling, the table was dirty, and the waiter smelled so bad it made me feel nauseous. Horrible.

19/11/2024: If you are a tourist in the derogatory sense this is a good address for the location. Bull stew you will have to settle for samples of meat and two large potatoes...the bouillabaisse is good. Times are tough, especially the price. (Pleasant but long service) and bright sunshine.

29/03/2026: I came last Wednesday to get a Best Of meal deal for the new Mario partnership, hoping to give the gold coin to the kid, but there was absolutely nothing in it. I don't know if they're keeping them for themselves or what, but false advertising is outrageous. The fries were okay, but the sandwich was cold. It's getting worse and worse, and I completely understand the Google reviews.

25/03/2026: A meal deal: a box of Nuggets to share, €30 😱 At that price, you're better off going to a restaurant where you'll eat good food, and most importantly, won't have an upset stomach the next day. McDonald's has no taste. Avoid it! 🤮

01/03/2026: Avoid this bar at all costs. I ordered a small hot chocolate for 4 euros... served in a tiny espresso cup... chocolate in a toy tea set? Unbelievable! Unpleasant service, cash only... keep walking... I never leave reviews... but for this scandalous bar (acceptable for regulars, appalling service for everyone else) I'm taking the time to share my experience

01/03/2026: This place is a joke! If you're a local, you're welcome, otherwise drink your beer, give me your cash, and get lost! Everyone has had hot chocolate before. In any bar or restaurant in the world, it comes in one size. Well, here there are two sizes. Why not, you might ask. Except that the small one is like having an espresso, so it's a mini cup, but instead of coffee, you get hot chocolate! Draft beer, only one choice! The concept of the bar has evolved. I must be out of touch. And when it comes to paying, let's talk about it! No credit cards! Only cash, straight into the owner's pocket, who must be raking it in! And no, the restaurant isn't in the middle of the jungle. There's good cell service. I checked.

09/03/2026: We came to eat with friends, we had a very good time, with a top-notch welcome and service, I recommend it!

28/02/2026: A huge disappointment. The €19 "butcher's steak" was just a frozen minced steak, as was the €29 burger with two small frozen patties. The mussels marinière had no white wine, and the mussels with Roquefort cheese had practically no Roquefort. Considering the prices, the value for money is unacceptable. We won't be back.

12/03/2026: This restaurant is very ordinary; the food is tasteless. Go somewhere else; it's not hard to beat.

15/01/2026: I chose this hotel purely for convenience, because I didn't have a TGV train and it's right across from the station. I took the easy way out… and what a mistake. This establishment is absolutely not worth the price. Even €10 would be excessive. Upon entering the room, an unbearable stench of urine (you wonder what animal it is) hits you in the throat. The mattresses are dirty, the sheets are dirty, everything is dirty. Hygiene is clearly nonexistent. To top it all off: the reception staff rings the bell every ten minutes to get you out of the room, which is as unpleasant as it is incomprehensible. Frankly, I felt dirty after sleeping there. A very unpleasant experience that I absolutely do not recommend. Avoid at all costs.

13/09/2025: I've rarely eaten such a bad croissant, but hey, maybe it's my fault. Who buys a croissant at 8 p.m. and expects it to be fresh? The (only) restroom is quite unkempt and reeks of mold. The café au lait was okay. Self-service. Convenient location. Right in front of the train station.
