08/09/2024: Disastrous service, we ordered a starter and a main dish. The starter arrived, but apparently if you don't ask for the main dish to be brought to you you can wait there for hours without anyone asking you, we waited more than an hour and when we asked they told us that we had not told them if we were finished (when we had been more for an hour without eating) and the next dish was not yet made. The very rude waiter laughed in our face when we asked for the bill, and charged us 7 euros for a bottle of water. Very bad attention, don't go.

29/08/2024: A very nice place and very good quality of food. Very suitable quality, quantity and price. We left very happy, we will repeat!!!

06/07/2024: While looking for a small restaurant, we stumbled upon the tennis club by pushing a small door and headed towards the restaurant. Very good initiative, it was super good, plentiful and also in a nice, quiet setting. THANKS.

25/06/2024: Hello, I come regularly for work to Marseille in the 8th and I would never miss a lunch at TCM. relaxation guaranteed between colleagues to share a quickly served lunch. sincere/tasty and elegant cuisine. pleasant setting/smiling welcome.

09/09/2024: Disappointment! Already way too expensive for the value for money. The carpets in the rooms are stained, the blinds dirty with dust, poorly insulated, etc. Stay shortened following an incident committed by the cleaning ladies. I didn't ask for the room to be cleaned but they did it anyway. My lens case spilled. Forced to return early despite the 2 nights I had left because I couldn't stay like that. No compassion. Oh yes, sorry! I was offered a coffee 👌🏻 No commercial gesture or refund It’s still commerce but we don’t all have the same notion of it.

15/09/2024: a freezing atmosphere with a very long wait plus I went through the kitchens and I saw the cook cutting the board placing it on the trash can or the chef sweating on the pizzas urgently that hygiene measures be taken

30/09/2024: On y est allés car le restaurant qu’ont voulait était trop loin. Belle découverte mais sans +. Serveuse sympathique mais le lieu est un peu vieillot (comme figé dans le temps). Des plats simples et certaines spécialités fallait les commander à l’avance mais rien de bien grave car il y avait d’autres choix.

10/09/2024: We came, as before, for the bouiabaisse and drove 100 km detour. The restaurant appeared to be closed, no information. We came for nothing.

18/09/2024: We flew all the way from LONDON to spend the night & have dinner which we had reserved to celebrate both my 60th b’day and our 30th wedding anniversary. We had reserved for last sitting at 9.30 pm and ordered our menu as soon as we booked. In LONDON we knew there was a slight delay so we called saying we will be late by 15 minutes & they confirmed that’s ok. We then called from Marseille airport twice and they reassured us that as long as we were there 10 to 22.00 pm we would be ok. We got in at 9.47 pm but to our astonishment both the woman at the reception refused to seat us. We explained we had called them 3 times & we had booked to stay the night just for the restaurant & one of them blatantly said ‘I am the restaurant & I will not even ask in the kitchen if they will serve you’.. Simply rude & disrespectful. We would not have called 3 times if we hadn’t been told each time that we would be seated. It was horrible to be treated with such disdain !! Then in the bistro we were served one of the worst squid dish ever… we could not chew on it.. VERY DISAPPOINTING experience.

11/09/2024: La bouillabaisse revisitée de M. PASSEDAT est un régal autant visuel que pour les papilles, un vrai festival de saveurs et tout cela dans un cadre merveilleux. Pour autant nous avons constaté quelques bémols concernant le service servi bien trop précipitamment qu'il à fallu ralentir, un personnel terne, triste, sans interaction avec la clientèle sans parler de leur tenue vieillotte, usée limite propre non digne du standing d'un restaurant 3 étoiles et enfin l'état du plafond de la salle de restaurant qui a du subir un dégât des eaux et qui en résulte de grosses auréoles jaunâtres ce qui laisse à désirer dans un lieu comme celui-ci. Nous déplorons aussi que M. PASSEDAT ne se présente pas alors qu'il était présent dans l'établissement.

29/09/2024: Very good restaurant, welcoming staff. The dishes and desserts are plentiful and of high quality. I recommend!

14/09/2024: Excellent service, very good meal, smile and kindness of the waitresses, very good contact for reservations. I recommend without any hesitation for a group meal. The deprivation of the room upstairs is a real godsend. Hikers' association.

14/09/2024: The mistral made us change our habits (sorry Shamrock 🫣) and it did us a lot of good! We didn't plan to eat there at first but simply have a pint but Friday evening...mistral...it's packed!. We are told that it is possible to return but that there is only a table of 2 left to eat... come on... we will stay and eat. What a discovery! Not only is the selection of taps incredible but the dishes were just as incredible. Simple but hearty dishes. 🥰 And the pompom on the Garonne 😅: the incredible service! We thank Simon who was truly incredible: efficient, kind, funny... In short, thank you Simon! (Perhaps we will see each other one day in Lille 😉). Looking forward to coming back very soon. 12/09/2024: The Queen Victoria in the heart of the Vieux Port, Marseille, is a delightful gem of English charm amidst the vibrant French surroundings. My recent visit was fantastic from start to finish. The warm and welcoming staff made us feel right at home, with attentive and friendly service that set the perfect tone for our meal. We ordered a croque madame and a croque monsieur with chips, and both were simply amazing! The sandwiches were perfectly prepared, with crispy bread, rich cheese, and beautifully cooked eggs. The chips were golden and crunchy, adding the perfect side to an already outstanding meal. The drinks were just as impressive. The beer was cold and fresh, and the wine was full of flavor – not watered down like you often experience in other places. It was evident they take pride in offering quality beverages to complement the food. Overall, the Queen Victoria offers a cozy, authentic English pub atmosphere with a touch of French flair. 04/09/2024: The boss spoke VERY poorly to his waitress. We could see that she was just starting out and that she was learning the language, but the boss decided to speak badly to her in front of us and other customers. Disappointing.

21/09/2024: Unfortunately disappointed with the service and quality of the products. Empty pancake without flavor, you have to look for the ingredients in the folds of the pancake. The boss does not hesitate to be unpleasant or even mocking when we ask a question about the dish. Two tables for 5, impossible to have a table to be more comfortable…. No consideration for customers, obviously selling, selling, selling. The boss is king *modification after your more than shameful response for an establishment manager. Note, I'm not surprised when I see that you do the same thing with everyone who is not happy with your restaurant. I wasn't talking about your entire map but just what I saw. I got 6 frozen mushrooms in my mushroom crepe (according to your waitress, I'm not making this up). I should have taken a photo of the contents of my crepe, I think you yourself would have been ashamed to answer me.* Looking forward to the change of ownership
