15/05/2026: Mussels marinière with fries for €18, tasteless. Three-quarters of them were closed and boiled. Tasteless, extremely disappointing… We left hungry. Shameful to serve mussels like that.

11/05/2026: Disappointing: Tricatelle's food is unbearable when the menu says "homemade" and it's clearly from a supermarket... The Caesar salad dressing wasn't homemade, and the chicken—if you can even call it chicken—was frozen and deep-fried, consisting of just two pieces. A Caesar salad should have fresh, grilled chicken in small pieces, especially when it says everything is homemade. Very disappointed. I don't recommend it.

09/11/2025: A 40-minute wait for three bruschetta, and when we asked about their progress, they told us they had just started preparing them. They then told us we should have "let them know if we were in a hurry." Does that mean they're putting us ahead of everyone else? It's ridiculous! I definitely don't recommend this place. We left without eating.

17/04/2026: Arriving at 6:30 PM on the terrace, the rather unpleasant waiter informed us they would be closing soon. He brought our drinks and placed our glasses on the rim, touching them with his fingers, which wasn't very hygienic and didn't exactly encourage us to drink. Then he sat down and looked desperately at his watch, eager to finish and leave. The staff was unwelcoming and the place lacked cleanliness in my opinion; I won't be returning.

14/04/2026: A waiter who thinks he's a Parisian! We simply asked for the menu and he brushed us off. Very disappointing, especially since we work in the café ourselves. No sir, you don't have all the hot drinks! Avoid this place, and we should have listened to the reviews!

09/04/2026: I think there's a lot of work to be done on the pastry side. I had a lemon tart: although it was lower in sugar, it definitely lacked lemon flavor. The crust wasn't crisp enough and was actually quite hard (and yet, I have all my teeth 😅). An almond base would have really improved it. As for drinks, the matcha latte was a bit lacking in matcha intensity. Overall, I didn't enjoy my visit, which is a shame because the place has potential.

11/10/2025: For the past 3 weeks, the quality of the baguettes has been deplorable. Today it's the turn of the corn bread. I don't know the reason but it's a lack of respect for the customers. Regarding the welcome, nothing that would make you want to come back, especially for other products. Bakery to avoid for the moment.

05/06/2025: Stopped at this great restaurant/bar for a drink after the magnificent Saturday market. Very warm welcome, super friendly staff. A great discovery! We will definitely be back!

08/05/2025: Very good food, but I had to do a staring battle with the waitress to get the bread. Too bad my relationship with the friends I ate with wasn't as good as the tartare, otherwise it would have been perfect, but that's not the bacchus's fault...

06/01/2026: We left without eating! After a long wait to be seated, we were rebuffed by the waiter in our section: "Who seated you there? Show me the waiter who seated you there. You don't just sit down like that!" Unbelievable!

05/01/2026: In the resorts, many restaurants are closed in winter, which is a real shame for the locals. Chez Boisset is a Saintes institution; the food is excellent, and there's live music even out of season. I've always had a great time there, and the servers are very friendly and, above all, professional. This restaurant could easily cater to transient customers, but it doesn't. I highly recommend it.

25/04/2026: Despite the bad rating, they wanted us to form our own opinion. The waitress was great!! I ordered a medium burger, and the meat was practically raw—no taste, no flavor at all!! My partner ordered a child-sized cod, and to top it all off, it was dry. In short, stop cooking and just stick to serving coffee and fruit juice.

26/03/2026: We chose this little bistro because it was one of the most affordable in Aix and in a great location. The service was slow, my friend ordered a rare burger and it arrived black, and the bun was also very hard, which was a shame. As for me, I ordered the chicken escalope with linguine, but I asked for fries instead, and in the end I got tagliatelle (completely different). It was a bit dry. Overall, not great, but the terrace setting is fantastic in the sun!

03/06/2026: I have rarely seen such a lack of business acumen. The welcome was cold, there was no listening, no desire to help or advise. It felt more like dealing with someone trying to close a sale at all costs than someone trying to satisfy a customer. Kindness and professionalism seemed to have been completely forgotten. A particularly unpleasant experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone.

30/05/2026: My favorite bakery in La Ciotat!!! The bread is excellent quality; I freeze some for lazy days :)) (I try to keep my budget to a minimum, but their traditional baguettes are my absolute favorite). And I always get incredibly friendly sales assistants; it's a pleasure to come and get my bread!!!

25/05/2026: €25 for a sun lounger for service like that is frankly outrageous. It took 30 minutes just to get the menus, then almost an hour's wait for the food. The food was good, but served cold… especially the gratinated mussels, which arrived practically frozen. Then, it was impossible to get a simple Coke and ice cubes without waiting another 40 minutes. And when we politely asked about our order, the servers responded, almost annoyed, explaining that they were serving other customers… except we were customers too. However, when it came to taking payment, there was a huge crowd: I barely had time to finish a fry before the card machine was already on the table. The most shocking thing was the towel situation: I was told it would cost €10 to rent a bath towel. I went to get the money and immediately heard another customer pay €5 for the same rental. When I asked why, I was told, "She's a regular." The season has barely begun, so it's hard to believe… It really gives the impression that the prices change depending on who you are. Special mention, however, goes to the receptionist, who was the only one to truly handle the situation with professionalism and kindness. She took the time to listen to our complaints and even offered us a fruit platter, two bottles of water, and an ice cream as an apology. Thankfully, there was at least this gesture to somewhat redeem the experience. It's a real shame, because the setting is nice, but the service and lack of consideration completely ruin the experience.

17/04/2026: Marius is fantastic! The view is superb! This is our third time here, and it's always great! We're at a beach restaurant because it's simple, but at least the ingredients are fresh.
