28/07/2026: Slightly Underwhelming. Service was slow at the beginning but picked up later on, Food was very good and consistent however wine parings failed to meet the dishes well despite the good story they followed. Generally a very nice meal however the older bistro style it had will be missed!

16/06/2026: A real gem! This bistro perfectly blends friendliness and quality. The dishes are generous, flavorful, and prepared with excellent ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and the service is friendly, quick, and attentive. You feel comfortable from beginning to end. During our week-long stay, we (two couples) returned three times because we were so satisfied. An excellent place to recommend without hesitation!

11/07/2026: We discovered this place for our 15th wedding anniversary. What a delightful surprise! A very warm welcome, the chef's cuisine is truly excellent and deserves at least one Michelin star. And to top it all off, the prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Everything is homemade, seasonal, and everything on the plate is edible, right down to the presentation. A special shout-out to the waitress for the amazing apple juice!! 21/08/2026: Found by chance and a very pleasant surprise! We hadn't booked and we were so lucky! The starters, main courses, and desserts were surprising and very tasty, all homemade, and the wines suggested for our dishes were perfectly paired. We had a wonderful time, received a very warm welcome, and the service was top-notch. Go there, but definitely book in advance! Thank you to the chef and his team for this delightful culinary experience.

21/08/2026: What a lovely restaurant. Family of three with two vegetarians and here there were superb options for all of us. The atmosphere is cosy and service top-notch. We dined in the evening and reserved online the night before. We all loved it. Highly recommended.

18/08/2026: Very poor service. We arrived: no tables available. I waited outside the restaurant, and the first table that became available was given to someone who arrived later.

26/08/2026: A wonderful discovery. Refined yet unpretentious cuisine, a beautiful dining room, friendly service – a truly delightful experience for two. We will gladly return.

25/08/2026: We regularly visit le Cottage on our travels in France. It is a top restaurant, the service is precise and the staff very knowledgeable about each dish. The menus are very well crafted with excellent textures and flavours. Unusually I went vegetarian this time. The ripe tomatoes deserved to star in the starter whilst the Moroccan tagine of egg plant, nuts, fruit and veg was one of the best. The cheesecake rounded off a delightful meal. Why hasn’t Doug and his team been recognised by Michelin? They deserve it.
