We chose the set menu, which offered amazing value for money. All served by a friendly, smiling, and attentive young woman. This wonderful discovery is definitely in our top 5 must-try restaurants.

16/06/2026: A real gem! This bistro perfectly blends friendliness and quality. The dishes are generous, flavorful, and prepared with excellent ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and the service is friendly, quick, and attentive. You feel comfortable from beginning to end. During our week-long stay, we (two couples) returned three times because we were so satisfied. An excellent place to recommend without hesitation!

06/10/2026: An excellent restaurant, deservedly awarded a Bib Gourmand. The interior is understated yet beautifully decorated, with an atmosphere that is both elegant and calming. Only the small, brightly colored paintings hanging on the walls clash somewhat with the overall style. The food is fantastic and the service impeccable. A truly wonderful place that we highly recommend.

The decor is surprising yet tasteful, and the setting of the presbytery lends itself to a very pleasant time with friends. The welcome from De Pons is excellent. You can go there without hesitation; you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed discovering this restaurant and highly recommend it!

26/09/2026: The dishes are original and offer a nice continuity. The regrettable points are more about the service; we would have liked to be consulted before opening a second bottle of water... and the atmosphere could be much more subdued and intimate. Dining out, beyond the culinary adventure, is also about socializing. And sharing conversations with other diners shouldn't necessarily be on the menu!

31/08/2026: One of the most delicious coffees I had in La Rochelle. I also tried a salad and it was 10/10. I’ll make it my daily coffee for my next days in the city :)

22/08/2026: We stopped at this charming place for a light snack and were delighted. The iced tea and homemade pastries were excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxing. I highly recommend it.

11/07/2026: What a pleasure it is to return to Restaurant L’Ecume every year! We never tire of this refined cuisine, where every ingredient is perfectly prepared! The restaurant offers a 3-course market menu for €28, unbeatable for such high-quality food. Moreover, the welcome is always perfect, and the staff will always go out of their way to pamper you 🤩 I highly recommend it if you're passing through St-Trojan, and it's even worth a detour if you're simply on the island ☺️

23/10/2026: First visit, Saturday evening, Menu Entree, Plat et dessert for 39 Euros, that was really good, only a liitle bit more time to enjoy between the dishes would be great. Or otherwise just ask the guest, if they want a little delay or no delay between the dishes. Everything else was awesome. See you soon.

19/10/2026: A delightful experience, not only because of the food but also because of the staff's kindness. The dishes were exquisite, especially the sea bass tartare with mango. A must-try.
