The decor was amazing, the servers were wonderful, the waitress was lovely, the owner was very kind, and thank you to the kitchen staff – everything was delicious! Don't change a thing, keep your staff because it's so nice to feel as good as we did on Wednesday. Best of luck to the whole team! 😉

The team is friendly and attentive, which makes you want to come back. I'm on holiday for a week in Royan and I have no desire to go anywhere else. Congratulations to the whole team for this wonderful experience!

The staff is extremely friendly and the owner is very attentive. A wonderful experience enjoying fresh, high-quality ingredients in a cozy atmosphere. However, be sure to book ahead, as, like all good restaurants, seating is limited.

The service was very quick, and they gave us great advice on choosing our dishes and drinks. And above all, the food was delicious. There were six of us, including a baby, and we had a wonderful time.

27/08/2026: Incredible! A complete lunch menu for €42 with delicious appetizers between courses! All the dishes were beautifully presented and delicious, right down to the dessert. We also had a freshly brewed and exceptional coffee. The staff was incredibly attentive and responsive. This is by far the best restaurant in La Rochelle, especially considering its location at the foot of the medieval towers in the pedestrian zone. Thank you! 🙏

13/08/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant in May with about ten friends. I ate superbly well and drank very well too. The service was very good; it's a great place to eat in La Rochelle.
07/08/2026: Just an amazing place! Very friendly service, tres sympa! Rich menu, a lot of choice. Service also is very fast and effective. Food was fresh, simple and delicious. Simplicity of the ingredients were very well complimented by pretty creative sauces. Everything was very balanced and tasted great.
For the dessert as well wel took a mousse au chocolat and it was phenomenal!

06/09/2026: I eagerly anticipate my trip to Jonzac, solely to visit this pastry shop. The pleasure of seeing the pastries precedes the pleasure of tasting them. Everything is delicious, and reasonably priced. The staff are incredibly attentive and always smiling, even when it's busy. It's always a very pleasant visit.

14/06/2026: For two years in a row, my sweetheart surprised me by booking a table at this restaurant for my birthday. The food was delicious and refined, the staff were incredibly attentive and kept me completely in the loop (cake with a candle, bouquet of flowers, best table), and the view of the beach and sunset was magnificent. Thank you so much!
Go without hesitation, you won't be disappointed!

03/07/2026: A lovely restaurant that's a must-try if you're ever near La Rochelle. La Yaute is very welcoming, with a pleasant decor (be sure to check out the restrooms too!) and, above all, simple, original, and delicious cuisine, all at a very reasonable price.
