06/05/2026: My father and I came for the first time on Monday at lunchtime. Everything was really great: the welcome, the dining room.
We had a very good lunch: seared sausages with split pea purée and red berry crumble.
It was really lovely.
We'll be back.

The prices are extremely reasonable considering the quality of the food.
And the owners are super friendly!
It always makes you want to come back :)

It was delicious... and the service was very pleasant.
And the chocolate mousse (photo)... a real treat.
03/06/2026: After reading the various reviews, we decided to treat ourselves and eat at this restaurant. The welcome was warm and friendly. However, we were all disappointed by the value for money. We ordered different dishes, and considering the prices, nothing was particularly impressive: an undercooked chicken leg, rather small portions, and a very basic burger. Nothing exceptional, in short, which is a real shame.

The food was delicious and refined, the staff were incredibly attentive and kept me completely in the loop (cake with a candle, bouquet of flowers, best table), and the view of the beach and sunset was magnificent. Thank you so much!
Go without hesitation, you won't be disappointed!

30/05/2026: A very good experience, everything was perfect: the food, the welcome, the interactions. We also appreciated the bike parking right across the street and the fact that our son had a similar meal to the adults but in a smaller portion – a real change from the often bland "children's menus" where nothing is actually cooked. The desserts are delicious, especially the salted caramel brioche. In short, excellent value for money, much better than many of the harborside restaurants.
30/05/2026: Always a wonderful experience at L'Aile de Ré. The setting is lovely, the welcome warm, and the service attentive from start to finish. The dishes are delicious, prepared with quality ingredients and presented with care. You can feel the professionalism and passion of the entire team. A truly excellent restaurant in Bois-Plage-en-Ré that I highly recommend.
