26/09/2024: You are now installed in an old oyster cabin on the edge of the salt marshes. A typical and timeless place. I recommend the signature dishes (hot oysters, confit octopus, lemon tart) the recipes hit the mark! The service is flawless. The addiction is in line with the table and the products.
The walk around the marshes perfect this moment

27/09/2024: Beautiful bar, great drinks and excellent service. Happened on the Karaoke night, locals having lots of fun and a great vibe.
17/09/2024: Just a coffee and two pastries each, early this morning.
Nicolas served us kindly with a big smile and a bowl of water for the dog without asking.
We appreciated the very cozy interior, the friendly atmosphere with regulars and the pastries that were still warm and crispy.
We will come back!

29/09/2024: Excellent cuisine. Very nice place. Good value for money. Good service. On the other hand, the chairs are very uncomfortable. You must order your dessert before the meal: ok for a soufflé, but not legitimate for all desserts.

17/12/2024: Very disappointed. I attended Les Flots for a few years.
Last night, a decent welcome, nothing more, bad atmosphere between the staff, unsmiling or even unpleasant servers. An ultra fast and not adjusted service: no request for an aperitif, no bread, no attention to the wine: we had to ask for all of that. A waiter who transfers the bottom of a bottle into another in full service, in full view of the customers. Payment to a server without attention or correction: not a word. Not a goodbye. Fortunately the cuisine is good without being up to what we experienced. Disappointment and no desire to come back.
16/12/2024: Salle chaleureuse et excellent accueil. Service sérieux et bien rythmé. Les mets nous ont ont procuré de l'étonnement et satisfaction à la dégustation. Notamment le tartare de Salers et Huîtres. Plus réservé sur le Rocher en dessert, rien de très original au plan de l'aspect et de la composition. Bon tout de même, mais sans plus !

04/12/2024: I don't know the hotel. My opinion therefore concerns only the restaurant. I have been traveling the Chte Maritime for over 30 years and I can say that the restaurant at the Hôtel de la Place offers exceptional value for money. The products are cooked with care, the presentation of the dishes is refined, the flavor combinations are sometimes original and ALWAYS relevant. Real taste discoveries. Only happiness. The owner of the establishment and his chef are great professionals who do honor to their profession. The wines offered are also tasty. I recommend without the slightest restraint!!!!
