02/08/2026: Warm welcome and nice place. However, we had a very long wait. It was okay, but nothing special: the fried food (shrimp and fries) was too greasy and sat heavy in our stomachs all evening. It wasn't good value for money. €15 for a children's meal, without a starter, dessert, or drink, for breaded chicken and fries. A mixed experience for us.

29/07/2026: An excellent restaurant that I highly recommend. The welcome is warm, the service impeccable, and the food simply delicious, with a chef who only prepares homemade dishes! The team is friendly and attentive, which makes you want to come back. I'm on holiday for a week in Royan and I have no desire to go anywhere else. Congratulations to the whole team for this wonderful experience!

29/07/2026: A superb restaurant, excellent cuisine, very generous portions, and an unbeatable set menu price. The staff is extremely friendly and the owner is very attentive. A wonderful experience enjoying fresh, high-quality ingredients in a cozy atmosphere. However, be sure to book ahead, as, like all good restaurants, seating is limited.

16/07/2026: The dish was very good, but is the price really justified? I can't say. We were left a little hungry, and unfortunately, having to pay an extra €7 for a portion of fries... That's tough for people from the North!

29/06/2026: After enjoying our first meal at this excellent restaurant, it's impossible to book a table for 2023, 2024, 2025, and now 2026. The waiting time is outrageous; it's June 29th and there are no tables available until July 20th at 12:45 PM. It's frustrating; we won't be there then and will just grill the sea bass ourselves! Have a good season.

15/06/2026: I have rarely experienced such a detailed and passionate presentation of the menu and the different dishes. The explanations were precise, enticing, and made me want to try everything! The staff is particularly pleasant, welcoming, and always smiling. We were lucky enough to try the meagre ribs: a true delight. It's rare to savor fish so delicately prepared and so delicious. A big thank you to the entire team for the quality of their work and their hospitality. 👏👍 We will definitely be back!

La Yaute is very welcoming, with a pleasant decor (be sure to check out the restrooms too!) and, above all, simple, original, and delicious cuisine, all at a very reasonable price. Our Chateaubriand was succulent and tender, and what can I say about the morel sauce! 😋 The chef is attentive and offers helpful advice, which is so rare these days. Best of luck to you both, don't change a thing. A must-visit and absolutely delicious place.

The seasonings and flavor combinations are incredible. The restaurant manager is very friendly. Excellent food. Very good value for money.

14/07/2026: Absolutely top-notch, innovative dishes, a variety of shellfish, fantastic sauces, 7 courses of only fish and seafood. The taste was superb, although some dishes were a bit too acidic. The Sardinian main course was truly exceptional. Dessert was also excellent. The service was professional, the components were well-chosen, and the staff were genuinely friendly and pleasant. The explanations in English were terrible, and unfortunately, the French explanations were too fast. Overall, a fantastic experience. We will definitely be back.
