18/02/2026: The most popular steak was sold out, but I was still very satisfied with the amount of beef I was able to eat! Beef is used in a variety of items, which shows how much care they put into their dishes.

03/01/2026: A wonderful, intimate restaurant with only five tables inside. The dishes are prepared with refinement, beautifully presented and generously portioned. A feast for both the eyes and the palate. The langoustine ravioli are absolutely divine. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Excellent value for money.

21/10/2025: A pleasant restaurant located on the tip with a view of the Pont de Ré. The servers are very welcoming and friendly. The food isn't exactly gourmet, but the value for money is more than reasonable. I recommend this place, as it offers the option of a nice digestive stroll if the weather permits.

12/02/2026: The night was rainy, the Charente River was overflowing, a doorbell rang, and the door opened onto a beautifully decorated hall. The welcome and service were friendly, the menu offered excellent choices, and the tasting was perfect and delicious. A truly gem.

08/03/2026: Its three Michelin stars are well-deserved, reflecting a level of excellence in both the kitchen and the dining room. The ingredients are cooked to perfection, and the numerous sauces (up to three for one dish!) are light and sophisticated.

13/02/2026: We had booked a lunch more than a month in advance, with a proper confirmation email received at the time. Everything seemed perfectly organized, exactly what one would expect from a three-Michelin-star restaurant. A few days ago, however, we were informed that our reservation had been cancelled via a simple text message — not an email, not a phone call. No real explanation, no alternative proposed. We only noticed this today and, after calling the restaurant, were told that the cancellation was due to overbooking. This is, quite frankly, unacceptable. Overbooking may occasionally happen, but how it is handled is what defines professionalism. Cancelling a long-standing, confirmed reservation with an impersonal text message, without a formal email and without proper apologies, is simply not worthy of a restaurant of this standing. At a three-star Michelin level, excellence should extend far beyond the plate. Service, organization and respect for guests are just as essential, and in this case, they were completely lacking. A deeply disappointing experience — before even stepping through the door.

23/02/2026: A top-notch restaurant. The cuisine is truly unique and delicious, featuring high-quality ingredients. The service is on par with other fine dining establishments, yet the prices are affordable and the value for money is excellent. A wonderful discovery!

26/02/2026: It's not easy to find a restaurant open during the off-season on the island, especially on weekdays. We went there by default, and we have no regrets. I was alone with my three children. The welcome was very warm, and the service impeccable and efficient. The children's menu was a big hit, and the beef tartare was excellent. I recommend it and will gladly return.

05/03/2026: Superb restaurant in a great location in La Rochelle. Beautiful view of the boats and the city's old castles! The cheddar burgers are excellent, generously topped, we thoroughly enjoyed them! And the seats were extremely comfortable, especially in the back corner where my sweetheart and I were able to snuggle up. I highly recommend it for the atmosphere, the view, and the delicious food!

02/02/2026: Great restaurant, friendly staff and generous portions, but it's a shame there are two dogs, which might be a problem for people with a phobia of dogs.

05/01/2026: We went to Gemozac for New Year's Eve on December 31st. The celebration was organized by Béatrice, who works at the Presbytery in Epargne. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that all the staff and Chef Yannick were there to prepare and serve us an excellent meal. I almost forgot to mention that the reception hall was beautifully decorated. The tables were covered with white tablecloths, the dishes were white porcelain, and fresh flowers adorned them. Thank you to Béatrice and her team for their attention to detail, thank you to Béatrice for organizing this wonderful New Year's Eve celebration. Thank you to the Chef and his team. Thank you to the entire dining room staff; you were always kind and attentive to our needs. Thanks to the very friendly DJ, we had a great time dancing and were the last to leave...around 5 a.m. We sometimes come to the Presbytery for lunch and are always delighted with the food and the welcome...my family didn't regret traveling over 500 km from Auvergne... Thanks again to you all!!
