10/09/2024: Exceptional restaurant with convivial ambiance. Service was brilliant; the young man and young lady describing the courses eloquently and with appropriate know-how. We opted for the crevette raviolis that were in a very tasty sauce enhanced by an exceptional house champagne. Fresh from the morning catch were sea bass, not on the menu, but seductively mentioned by the staff. One word- superb! Our dessert, for two, was delicious, fig tart with blackberry ice cream. In summary a very special restaurant, with great staff, fabulous food and atmosphere to match with all tables filled!

09/12/2025: The dining room is tiny (so there aren't many seats, be sure to book!), but the food is very good, the ingredients are fresh, the welcome is friendly, and the service is fast.

14/11/2025: Superb restaurant right in the heart of Montendre. A shop and wine cellar are on the ground floor, with an open kitchen and dining area upstairs. The tables are spaced along the exposed stone walls, creating a chic bistro atmosphere. The menu is short and enticing. A very good Sancerre to accompany the snails with chanterelles, a perfectly seasoned steak tartare as a starter, followed by roast guinea fowl (breast and leg) with braised cabbage. The monkfish and scallops were also delicious. The portions are generous, the sauces flavorful, and the ingredients top-notch. A wonderful experience, with quick and friendly service. €60 per person for a starter, main course, and wine in the evening. Well worth it, we'll be back.

07/01/2026: What a lovely surprise! We went on January 2nd. We ate at the "oyster bar." A trio platter and some "special" oysters on top. Delicious! The owners are super friendly. We'll be back and we've recommended it to our friends from Charente!

29/09/2024: Restaurant agréablement situé en bordure du port du GABUT, belle salle spacieuse, accueil souriant, avenant, enjoué, service attentionné, prévenant, à l'écoute, atmosphère décontracté et agréable; dans l'assiette excellente cuisine de saison faite maison, cuissons parfaites des aliments, plats copieux bien présentés, produits frais et de qualité, parfaite associations des goûts régalant les papilles un excellent repas dans un cadre agréable et dans la bonne humeur, pas de fausses notes du début à la fin, rapport qualité/prix excellent, choix de vins conséquent. je recommande vivement ce restaurant idéalement situé dans le quartier du GABUT. I recommend the signature dishes (hot oysters, confit octopus, lemon tart) the recipes hit the mark! The service is flawless. The addiction is in line with the table and the products. The walk around the marshes perfect this moment
