16/07/2026: Stop searching for a restaurant on the quayside and do as we did and discover Les Embruns, slightly tucked away. I admit that chance played a large part in this discovery. So what can I say except that there's nothing to complain about? Everything is perfect: the welcome, the food. The little accompaniments with the aperitifs, the "trou rétois" as digestifs, were all very nice touches. Bravo!

Special mention for the perfect egg… absolutely divine! But what also makes this place so charming is its atmosphere. Here, you feel right at home. The welcome is warm, the atmosphere is familial and friendly, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A truly wonderful place that I wholeheartedly recommend. We will be back with great pleasure!

The welcome was truly warm; I had a lovely chat with Bruno and Nathalie while the pizzas were cooking. Special mention goes to the children's pizza, which perfectly satisfied my daughter without any waste. I highly recommend this place.

17/07/2026: A little bistro we stumbled upon on the road from Bordeaux to Poitiers. For 17 euros, we enjoyed an all-you-can-eat buffet with cold starters, crudités, pasta salad, potato salad, rillettes, charcuterie, and melon. Then we had a choice of several meat dishes served with pasta, rice, fries, steamed potatoes, green beans, and salad, followed by dessert, a quarter-liter of wine, and coffee. The staff was very friendly. Perfect for a road trip. The photo of the buffet was taken at the end of service.

The chef shared his extensive experience with us through his dishes. I take my hat off to him for the slow-cooked sea bass with thinly sliced ​​artichokes: a truly signature dish. The other dishes were all executed with exquisite precision in seasoning and cooking, where the ingredients are clearly at the heart of the chef's vision. Our group of eight, who stayed in June and were a bit noisy, thoroughly enjoyed their stay and will certainly recommend your establishment. Go without hesitation! The beach and sea are a 10-minute drive away.
