29/11/2025: We received a very warm welcome at this small restaurant where we had lunch as a couple without a reservation. We chose two set menus (starter, main course, and dessert). The burrata salad was delicious, the pulled pork was very good and generous, served with mashed potatoes, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We finished with a butter and sugar crêpe. My partner also greatly enjoyed his couscous and the chocolate fondant with crème anglaise. The restaurant filled up quickly, no doubt due to its popularity. We will definitely return and highly recommend La Rozell de Marans. Well done to the whole team!

09/11/2025: Nice little restaurant; given the season, we had lunch inside. We enjoyed the homemade black pudding with mashed potatoes, which brought back memories of the good old days. Pleasant service and a very reasonable bill. What more could you ask for? We'll be back.

09/12/2025: The location was good, the menu short, the meat and hamburgers decent, but the fries were dipped back in the fryer. The waitress was anything but welcoming and clearly wished she were somewhere else. And worst of all, I suffered a severe case of food poisoning the next day, undoubtedly due to the soft white cheese called "La Jonchée," which I pointed out had a strange taste. They told me it was just the taste of cheese! 😡😡 I've been bedridden ever since.

01/01/2026: Everything was perfect! To begin with, we arrived at a very busy restaurant, and since we have a large dog, the owner kindly allowed us to bring her in. That was a real plus right from the start. Then we ordered the daily special: pork cheek, smoked sausage, new potatoes, and wild fish with sauerkraut. Both were delicious; it's such a pleasure to eat excellent home-style cooking. We were then treated to delicious desserts: chocolate mousse with crumble and a Mont Blanc-style dessert—yum, yum, the homemade financiers! The waiter was lovely. A truly wonderful experience that I highly recommend!

The octopus was magnificent, beautifully cooked, generous, nothing to complain about, and the Corsican platter was fantastic! 14/09/2025: Excellent, having just arrived in the region, we discovered this restaurant in July. We returned there this afternoon for their last days before the holidays and it was a treat. Superb cuisine, very welcoming owners, very pleasant waiters, which is sometimes rare these days. We highly recommend this restaurant, we will come back to see you at All Saints' Day. Have a good holiday.
