13/09/2024: C’est notre deuxième visite et nous sommes ravis de ce restaurant . La déco est sympa, le service est sympathique et professionnel, la cuisine goûteuse, une très bonne adresse sur l’île d’Oléron . Réservez c’est indispensable !

07/09/2024: Die Einrichtung ist sehr originell. Das Team sehr sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen war gut bis sehr gut. Der Fisch super, die Pasta etwas zu weich. Der Besitzer hat die Kritik sehr freundlich und aufmerksam aufgenommen und sich sehr entgegenkommend gezeigt. Die Meinung des Gastes wird sehr ernst genommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder

06/12/2024: Attention : dimanche midi un seul et unique menu disponible à 41€ et si la patronne vous a à la bonne, elle fera preuve d'abnégation et retirera de la note... tadam!! 4.00€ pour entrée/plat ou plat/dessert...il paraît que cela fait 13 ans que c'est comme ça... alors... Dommage !!!

02/12/2024: Très décevant ! Je ne parle non pas de la cuisine qui est très bonnes (malgré la portion d’un menu enfant), mais de tout le reste qui finalement gâche le plaisir de goûter au plat. Enfin.. ceux auxquels tu as le droit. Car oui, sachez que vous avez aux choix que deux menus (entre 30€ et 40€), hormis le dimanche où vous n’avez que le menu le plus chère. Je tiens à le préciser étant donné que le personnel ne s’en occupe pas lorsque l’on réserve quelques jours auparavant. Mais si ce n’était que ça… Ne venez pas dans l’optique d’être très bien servi.. un accueil limite désagréable, les cartes sont distribués minimum 10-15 min après que tu te sois installée et lorsque l’on vient enfin de s’occuper de toi, il n’y a aucun relation clientèle (ex : tu poses une question, tu te fais limite engueuler). Étant dans le domaine de la restauration, je comprends le manque d’organisation lorsque vous êtes en sous effectif et que vous êtes dans le "jus" … mais le manque de professionnalisme n’est pas censé disparaître. Encore moins quand vous êtes la directrice et que c’est votre affaire depuis des années. Par ailleurs, lorsque vous faites un chiffre d’affaires aussi élevés avec un seul menu, je pense qu’il n’est pas compliqué pour vous de changer une poule dans les toilettes au lieu de mettre juste une bougie en guise de « lampe ». Je ne vais pas m’étaler encore plus même si je n’en pense pas moins, ma famille est moi-même n’y retournerons plus !

08/12/2025: We came this summer and arrived on Île de Ré at 9 pm with nowhere to eat. We asked a waitress if we could be seated, and she replied, "Oh no, have you seen the time? We're not robots!" A rather unpleasant remark, but we wanted to try the restaurant again another day because the view is lovely. However, we ordered rare ribeye steak, which arrived medium-rare because they had switched our order with another table. The beef tartare with pesto had a peculiar taste. It seemed as though the amount of pesto was there to mask the flavor of the meat. When we pointed out what was wrong at the end of the meal, the waitress told us they had noticed we hadn't received the correct cooking time for the ribeye. This is shameful considering the price of the steak. We were offered a free shot, which was a nice touch, but rather ridiculous given the price of the food.

18/11/2025: Excellent meal and a very pleasant waitress. Everything homemade, as beautiful as it was delicious. The open kitchen is lovely. The scallops are amazing!

27/11/2025: The setting was perfect, the food and dessert were excellent, and the service and atmosphere were top-notch. I highly recommend it.

10/11/2025: The staff were friendly, but the food was really bad, which is a shame.

03/10/2025: Sophie and Hélène continue to make this place a benchmark in Saint-Jean-d'Angely. Delicious cuisine, excellent atmosphere, attentive service—it's all there!

25/01/2026: A great find! The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. And the servers are pleasant. Highlights: Special mention for the perfectly cooked egg and the orzo cooked like a mushroom risotto! Lowlights: The braised root vegetables were unfortunately bland. And the chocolate sauce on the profiterole was much too sweet for our taste.

23/01/2026: The meal was excellent. The staff was attentive. I will return.

30/09/2024: Very good salmon tartare mixed with small vegetables 😋👌 I recommend stopping there if you are on the island of Aix 👍

08/12/2025: Had the Ceasar salad and it was great. They had ran out of IPA and went next door to get me a pint. Very impressed

29/09/2025: An excellent brasserie, the likes of which unfortunately don't exist many anymore... The dishes are generous, very fresh, and carefully prepared. The welcome was friendly, cheerful, and very professional. The mussels (bouchot, of course!) were simply delicious. All this at a very reasonable price. Faultless! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 Too bad I live so far away...
