08/02/2026: Restaurant. Lunch this Sunday, February 8, 2026. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Simple, authentic, and creative cuisine, perfectly priced. The owner/chef is a bit of a character, but his humor is as subtle as his dishes; okay, he forgot the ice in my cognac, but who cares? There are worse things. I recommend it for those who want to treat themselves.

28/02/2026: A very warm welcome, a wonderful discovery

21/02/2026: On the recommendation of friends who had eaten at this restaurant, we decided to give it a try. We had a reservation for 7:30 pm, and were told there was only one turbot left, even though it was listed on the menu board, and the restaurant was empty. Then, when the dishes arrived, the 300g ribeye steak had 100g of fat on it, the skin was still fatty, and the risotto was nothing more than rice with a lot of oil. We were hoping the desserts would redeem us: flambéed banana and speculoos tiramisu. The flambéed banana wasn't flambéed, nor was it even warm... it was just a sugared banana, and the tiramisu... the worst of all! Cream with crushed speculoos cookies. I called the waitress over. I asked where the ladyfingers/boudoir biscuits were that are supposed to be in a tiramisu? She told me that for them, a biscuit is just crushed speculoos... Shameful! I didn't even respond. One thing is for sure: I won't be going back and I advise everyone against going there. A very bad experience.

31/01/2026: January 2026 The restaurant is somewhat hidden away in a quiet alley. The welcome and service are impeccable. We opted for the tasting menu at €135... A true success! An amuse-bouche followed by seven courses offered genuine surprises and culinary delights. The chef manages to combine flavors and presentation, always giving pride of place to plants and flowers. We discovered, along the way, the brède mafane and its unique flavor profile. The menu offers a balance between land and sea, always original and distinctive. Bravo to the chef for the delicious flavors. The aperitifs and wine, however, are (too) expensive. I highly recommend this restaurant: a wonderful discovery.

12/03/2026: We came with the children for a weekend. Excellent Savoyard fondue. Everyone enjoyed it. Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, we'll be back.

08/03/2026: A delight from start to finish! I visited Royan a few months ago to see my husband's family. We had a wonderful meal at L'Atelier. Everything was delicious, perfectly cooked. Special mention for the homemade desserts—absolutely divine! The staff is welcoming and friendly. They also have a great sense of humor. A sure bet in Royan, far from the tourist traps.

13/01/2026: Fantastic experience. Impeccable service, and the music was really great. I had the DIY steak tartare. Simple and delicious. Special mention to the waiter who was incredibly attentive. I highly recommend it for a family evening out while enjoying La Palmyre.

28/02/2026: The setting is lovely and the service is pleasant. The dishes are beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients; the homemade aspect is much appreciated. Everything is delicious. The best deal is a set menu (main course, starter, dessert) for €22.

19/02/2026: We came to eat at Marie La Rochelle, a tiny restaurant located within the walls of the covered market in downtown La Rochelle, which offers delicious products from the Périgord region. We had a wonderful time and the food was truly excellent. If you're looking for a friendly, unpretentious place where the food is good and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, look no further! The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and manages her restaurant perfectly, all on her own, both in the kitchen and with the service—kudos for her energy and professionalism! We highly recommend it and will definitely come back to eat at your restaurant on our next visit to La Rochelle 😊

10/02/2026: While visiting La Rochelle with my mother, we stumbled upon this charming, unique little restaurant. Sometimes things just work out for the best, and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal and the friendliness of the owner. We highly recommend it.

26/01/2026: Excellent food from start to finish. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding. The chef was a lovely touch, adding an extra meringue after we'd finished our dessert. 16/01/2026: The Scorlion is a very good address, with a chic and elegant interior (individual cotton towels for drying your hands at the restroom sink are definitely a good sign), professional and attentive service, excellent cuisine, clearly prepared on-site, sophisticated yet unpretentious, and top-notch value for money, with a set lunch menu (starter, main course, dessert) for €24. In short, really good!

You can tell that everything is made with care and authenticity. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, with a cozy decor that makes you want to linger and enjoy the moment. The setting is friendly and pleasant, perfect for a lovely meal with family or friends. A truly great experience; I highly recommend this crêperie and will gladly return!

We highly recommend making a reservation. Exemplary service, expertly crafted cocktails, quality wines, and above all, exquisite dishes in just the right portion size—neither too much nor too little. The prices are extremely reasonable considering the quality and flavor. I highly recommend booking a table at this establishment if you appreciate good food.
