30/08/2024: There were 3 of us this afternoon to enjoy a fried dish which was delicious and not greasy, really excellent with fries and salad even if it is not unlimited the dishes are very very generous. The restaurant is very clean as well as the kitchen and toilets. The impeccable service is friendly. I will return there without any problem and for a family meal it is great because it has a large room

10/01/2025: I agree with the previous negative comments, one of the managers is hateful. Already the response to my hello was forced and judging by the face that Monsieur made he already seemed at the end of his rope at 10 a.m. I politely ask if I can move a chair to a table that was empty, and then, unfortunately, I am rebuffed in a haughty and condescending manner. A simple no would have been enough, no need to use an inappropriate tone. I had already noticed this lack of professionalism during my previous visits but it was some time ago, so I wanted to try the experience again and well it was the last and at the right time. When you don't like people you don't open a business, some people don't deserve to stay open sincerely.

02/01/2025: The setting is very pretty, the food tasty and the staff very attentive and friendly. On the other hand, the owner seems less inclined to respond to the wishes of customers...

28/06/2025: We were very satisfied with our three days at this hotel. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a balcony. We received a very warm welcome. We were even offered to store our motorcycle in a large garage. We stayed half-board, and the food was excellent. There are plenty of wonderful things to do in the surrounding area. We will gladly return.

04/09/2024: I could describe my bad experience(s) here but in view of the answers given by the charming and professional owner of the place I am not sure that this will be useful, he will necessarily have a good excuse about the lack of staff or the complicated situation for restaurateurs. How is it then that elsewhere, some keep a smile, welcome the customer with efficiency and respect? In short, for me it's over, I won't set foot there again.

10/09/2024: We spent 4 days with half board. Nothing to complain about this hotel. Warm welcome, the chef and his wife take great care of their guests. Every evening we enjoyed the half board menu. Very well equipped hotel: swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, billiards, pinball, table football, ping-pong, gym equipped with machines. I highly recommend this hotel. We will come back for a stay in another season.

23/11/2024: Living in the city center of Besançon, I regularly passed by it, without ever entering it. Recently, a friend pushed me to go together, it was a very quiet Thursday evening, there were only 2 tables occupied, including ours. We took the menu (28€) and were clearly disappointed. First the service, we waited almost 30 minutes for our starter, which arrived just lukewarm (mushroom crust which is more like 3 spoons of soup and 3 industrial toasts, too bad for a dish of Franc-Comtoise origin). Then the main course, the only “good note” of this dinner, although the charcuterie is vacuum packed, worthy of the local Casino Shop. And finally the dessert, two small star-shaped blocks of Mirabelle ice cream (being Lorraine, I struggled to find the taste, it was clearly industrial), an abundance of icing sugar and a very acidic red fruit coulis. . In short, we spent a total of €35 per person, and it was a waste, the creperie next door was more worth the price/quality ratio. (We should not be surprised when it has around twenty seats but 40 dishes on the menu…). In terms of comfort/space, it was cold inside and the abundance of decoration doesn't help with cleanliness (dust doesn't just happen...) Finally, the owner looked down on us as soon as we arrived, and when it came to payment, the fact of snatching our bank cards so she could pass them herself did nothing to help her sympathy. I wouldn't set foot there again.

05/09/2024: This place!!! The gent behind the bar, maybe the manager is truly in the correct job. His hospitality is unbelievable. We had a 'few' grimbergens and a cold plate for our meal after having travelled on the motorbike from Chamonix. He presented 'the boss' with small gifts, a Guinness scarf, bottle openers, a pack of cards. Such a lovely gesture. You know when you know someone is just a great person. It's him.

09/09/2024: Top, beautifully prepared fish dishes with perfect cooking. And the welcome is wonderful. I recommend! This evening, fresh parsley chanterelles....a pure treat!

25/08/2024: We went there with my partner, the wait for the dish was a bit long. The mussels and fries are really delicious, but a little disappointed with the frying… more fries than fish (10 pieces for €20 we found it light). Apart from that, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and the cooking is excellent!

10/08/2024: We had a great time The ice creams are very good and well presented. The waitress is smiling and attentive. She heard that my daughter wanted a piece of lemon for her glass of water. Discreetly she brought him a ramekin with several pieces of lemon. It's the little touches that make the difference. We will come back with pleasure

06/08/2024: The savory pancakes are very good, the sweet pancakes we didn't see the color because the service is much too long, don't go there if you are in a hurry and for the atmosphere I was delighted to know the life of the next table but very bothered to tell mine.
