01/03/2026: A break for tea, coffee, or fresh fruit/vegetable juice was definitely in order! I had the "bon teint" carrot, ginger, and apple juice: excellent. My friend had the "bon bon" – delicious. The cakes were generous and very tasty: carrot cake and crumble! Offering a carafe of water would have been a nice touch.

30/07/2026: I haven't been back to this restaurant in a while. Huge disappointment! We waited 45 minutes for a single course. The waitresses were clearing the tables of the first customers without paying any attention to us, even though the restaurant was far from full. The service was mediocre; when you ask about the desserts on the daily menu, they tell you, "Whatever's left?" The food on my plate was either slightly lukewarm or hot, clearly indicating a problem with kitchen organization. And to top it all off, I got indigestion on my way home—I won't go into details.

07/06/2026: We had a wonderful time at this establishment, celebrating my mother's 90th birthday. The cuisine was exquisite, and the wines were excellent (I highly recommend the Arbois Pupillin Chardonnay from the Jura region). Finally, I would like to thank the entire team once again for their exceptional patience in accommodating everyone's wishes. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment for family celebrations or any other occasion.

17/05/2026: I came with my father on Sunday lunchtime, May 3rd. The setting is lovely and traditional. However, from the moment we arrived, we sensed that the meal was going to be rather gloomy. Two waitresses greeted us without a smile and with a cold demeanor. My father selected the wine pairing, and the first glass was a champagne: no explanation, no name of the estate, grape variety, or any other information whatsoever, and the same was true for each of the subsequent wines, of course. EVEN WORSE, the champagne had no bubbles at all. Unfortunately, I'm a sommelier, and serving the dregs of the bottle, of course, from behind the bar, is acceptable, but not at all. I pointed this out immediately, although it took 10 minutes to get the attention of a waitress holed up behind the bar with a pedantic air, especially during a quiet service with barely 10 covers. We considered leaving, but luckily the food was delicious; a big thank you to the kitchen team. The dining room does absolutely no justice to the work done in the kitchen. Looking forward to coming back.

07/06/2026: A typical Ibis hotel in a good, convenient location, allowing for a quick walk to Besançon's old town. The rooms are clean, air-conditioned, and quiet. The breakfast buffet is small but excellent, offering something for everyone. The service is friendly.

27/05/2026: A wonderful discovery. The dishes were delicious and generous. We had lunch and dinner there, with a special mention for the fried food and the mushroom tart. The welcome was simple and friendly.

24/05/2026: We were very disappointed with our visit to your restaurant yesterday… the wine was of very poor quality and you were kind enough to change it, but the rest of the meal was just as dreadful… the duck breast was raw, the homemade fries were mere crumbs, the new potatoes were extremely dry and therefore certainly reheated, the sauces, which looked so appetizing, were served in excessive quantities on the plate… in short, we strongly advise against going there…. Despite the pleasant service staff.

06/08/2026: Evening meal on the terrace: High-quality regional cuisine. The forest-style cheese tart was a delight! Excellent value for money, efficient service with a smile every time. A wonderful evening...I'll be back!

31/07/2026: Fellow bikers, avoid this place on Sunday afternoons, especially if you're looking for a refreshing drink during a heatwave. They make absolutely no effort to serve you; there's no bar service whatsoever. So you have to eat, which is a shame and shows a real lack of professionalism. Perhaps hiring an extra person would help, but it wouldn't be as profitable.
