01/06/2026: We had a wonderful time at this hotel-restaurant. The setting is simply magnificent, with a perfectly maintained garden, a lovely terrace, and a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious: high-quality ingredients, elegant presentation, and flavors that were spot-on from start to finish. The staff also deserves a special mention. The entire team was welcoming, professional, and always smiling, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A small gesture that demonstrates their excellent service: I had forgotten my phone cable, and they kindly took the time to lend me one so I could charge my phone. Always with a smile and great kindness. An establishment I wholeheartedly recommend for the quality of its welcome, its cuisine, and its setting. We will definitely be back! 👏😊

19/10/2026: Really nice starters, a bit heavy main courses, but everything was tasty Chaotic ordering and we had to ask 3 times before they brought the last 2 dishes, the rest of us had finished eating there However, it was rectified with 2 free Armagnac

18/10/2026: A very warm welcome despite the crowds; they looked for a solution to satisfy a customer. A very nice menu blending regional and national specialties, and a wine list featuring the essential Arbois, for connoisseurs. A must-visit in Besançon.

15/07/2026: Good food. But the à la carte dishes are only €1 or €2 more expensive than the overpriced pizzas. So don't hesitate, order the main course. A standard 25cl half-pint of beer at €4.90 is too expensive, and beers are generally pricey. It wasn't too busy that day, but the service for the two daily specials was a bit slow. They're just getting started; let's give them time to get organized. This restaurant is cozy and beautifully decorated. Worth reconsidering.

03/09/2026: A pleasant place to stop for a break. However, the shop selling regional products is not very well stocked compared to other shops of this type.

16/08/2026: A place we like to stop on our trips to or from Switzerland. The staff are friendly. The offerings are always tempting and the prices reasonable.

02/10/2026: Absolutely avoid this restaurant!!! A 50-minute wait for three courses, not to mention the waitress's lack of friendliness. When will restaurants like this take responsibility? If you want to compete with the best, you have to invest properly. As for the food, it was more than mediocre. The salad was served without vinaigrette dressing; the waitress didn't know, haha, sorry, HA, HA!!! The cook also didn't know what salt and pepper were. And to top it all off, not a word of apology. You won't be seeing us again anytime soon....

22/09/2026: Fair prices, very friendly waiters/waitresses, very, very good food, fairly quick service, really top-notch.

25/04/2026: We tried the new menu and have no regrets. From the goat cheese tart (made with local products) to the 100% vegetable lasagna, and even the meat dishes on the menu, right through to dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was pleasant and excellent.

08/10/2026: On our way to Dijon, we stopped by this place, drawn by the many vehicles parked nearby. Unfortunately, once inside, the waiter quickly told us the place was fully booked. Okay, so we left, but my wife saw the restroom near the exit and used it. Once we were on the street, a girl from inside approached us and told us the restroom wasn't public and we had to pay: four euros. No further comments.

02/08/2026: Actually, I don't have much to say about it. I only went once; the service was friendly, the atmosphere pleasant, the beer was good, and the prices were average for the area. But from what I've heard, it's a place that's been around for decades, so maybe that's no coincidence.

11/05/2026: What a treat! The John Dory with lemon-ginger sauce... The foie gras and duck breast salad... And the dessert! I highly recommend this restaurant, where I also enjoyed the daily menu just as much. The service was professional and friendly. Don't hesitate, go there, you'll be delighted.
