15/07/2026: Good food. But the à la carte dishes are only €1 or €2 more expensive than the overpriced pizzas. So don't hesitate, order the main course. A standard 25cl half-pint of beer at €4.90 is too expensive, and beers are generally pricey. It wasn't too busy that day, but the service for the two daily specials was a bit slow. They're just getting started; let's give them time to get organized. This restaurant is cozy and beautifully decorated. Worth reconsidering.

06/08/2026: We informed them that we would be arriving 30 minutes late, at 8:30 pm instead of 8:00 pm, due to a very complicated route to get there. As soon as we walked in, the waiter firmly informed us that since we were late, we would only be served a main course and dessert, which was unacceptable, especially since he only came to take our aperitif order after 20 minutes (the table next to us was also penalized for apparently being late as well 😅). We weren't offered any wine, and the €30 plate of fried fish consisted of a trout, about eight slices of potato, a small ramekin of green salad dressed only with a drizzle of pure balsamic vinegar, a little basic mayonnaise, and a ridiculously small and wilted piece of lemon. For dessert, no ice cream, no menu, we were offered a choice between crème brûlée, tiramisu, or fruit salad ☹️, a bit limited so we didn't order any, and to top it all off, they didn't offer us coffee. Two hours of driving for this, we would have been better off staying home 😞

29/03/2026: A wonderful discovery at Le Relais de Malpas. The portions are truly generous; you definitely won't leave hungry. The quality is excellent, everything is well-prepared, and you can tell the ingredients are treated with respect. Special mention goes to the waitress, who was smiling, attentive, and genuine. It makes all the difference to the experience. A simple, efficient place where you eat very well and have a great time. I highly recommend it.

02/08/2026: Actually, I don't have much to say about it. I only went once; the service was friendly, the atmosphere pleasant, the beer was good, and the prices were average for the area. But from what I've heard, it's a place that's been around for decades, so maybe that's no coincidence.

25/04/2026: We tried the new menu and have no regrets. From the goat cheese tart (made with local products) to the 100% vegetable lasagna, and even the meat dishes on the menu, right through to dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was pleasant and excellent.

14/08/2026: As regular customers, we often come for a simple and relaxing time with a pleasant and very kind person. The pizzas are good, the homemade desserts too, and the cocktails, including this pineapple sangria currently available, are fantastic. Reservations are recommended.

09/07/2026: We had a delicious salad served by a very friendly owner in lovely air conditioned surroundings. We arrived thirsty after climbing up to le fort de Bregille and the owner gladly brought out 4 bottles of water (free of charge) as soon as we finished one. He was happy to explain all the ingredients in simple French and was very friendly coping well with our limited French.
