01/09/2024: We came to the restaurant at half past ten in the evening hoping to get something to eat. The service is absolutely friendly and we enjoyed two very unusual pizzas with French cheese. There are many other delicacies on the menu that we would have liked to try. We really liked the atmosphere. Rustic and homely. Absolute recommendation!

26/08/2024: De passage en vacances mais ferus d'apéro et de bon repas, ce restaurant seulement avec 5 personnes qui mangeaient à 12h36 exactement et nous étions 4 et c'était un dimanche. Une capacité de minimum quarante couverts, la propriétaire nous a répondu :" désolé je n'ai plus de table !!!!?? Si nous étions tombés sur un jeune restaurateur motivé avec son affaire pas encore payée bien sûr qu'il nous aurait reçu à bras ouverts..... Mais comme souvent et malheureusement en France une fois que leurs commerces sont payées, nos charmants restaurateurs ne cherchent plus trop à se casser la tête l pour gagner de l'argent..... Heureusement un gars intelligent avait installé un distributeur de pizza quelques mètres plus loin. Et nous avons donc mangé sur un parking 😁 Alors messieurs dames les commerçants arrêtez de vous plaindre quand des kebabs s'ouvrent au coin de vos rue eux au moins ils travaillent bande de feignants. 29/06/2024: This “Home Sandwiches” snack seemed to me to be among the most recommendable in this area where there are many snacks. Here the welcome and the service are friendly, even on a busy evening (music festival). Well, it all depends on which staff you come across. The room and the small corner are clean and maintained. The prices are clear (display and leaflet) and reasonable. To stand out from the competition, this snack offers, in addition to the usual choices, the "Makloub" sandwich: I didn't know it, I tried it and I liked it. Depending on WHO takes your order, it will be more or less satisfactory and meets your expectations. The 4th time I came to this snack bar was apparently one time too many. I ordered 1 burger without fries and with 1 coke-zero: I received the burger (correct) with disappointing fries compared to previous times, containing too much waste which should have been removed before cooking. The requested drink never arrived and it is not freely available, so it is impossible to help yourself. Only drinks loaded with sugar are freely available, if you want something else you have to beg? Disappointing, especially after 3 overall positive experiences in this place. Farewell.

31/03/2024: I have known this restaurant for a very, very long time, I went there with my friend, who lives on rue Jean Wyrsch, (self-taught) the Saint Claude district is a very very lively district) I remember a little above that it is the store of Mr. Humbert....it hurts me that no one wants to revive the neighborhood....

13/12/2024: Les bonnes tables au centre d´Ornans devenaient de plus en plus rares, jusqu´à la reprise de ce restaurant au rez-de-chaussée de l´hôtel de France. Cadre chaleureux, accueil très sympathique de la patronne, qui s´occupera également de tout le service en salle. Plats savoureux, classiques, cuissons maîtrisées (notamment les belles Saint-Jacques, ou le cerf), mais portions un peu exagérées (surtout pour les plats) : quel dommage de ne pas toujours arriver à tout finir... Un peu plus de légèreté, et un brin de créativité, serait bienvenus. La carte des vins pourrait s´ennoblir de quelques références un peu plus haut de gamme. Mais ce qui est le plus dommage, c´est le service : il manque clairement une personne en plus pour épauler la patronne, qui peut vite se laisser déborder par des clients bavards, entrainant une attente un peu anormale pour d´autres tables (dont la nôtre). Au final, une bonne expérience, et surtout la satisfaction de savoir où très bien manger à nouveau dans le centre-ville.

30/10/2024: Hôtel de qualité, très propre, bien tenu, personnel très agréable. Seul bémol, des escaliers raides et pas d'ascenseur. Le restaurant ne dépend pas de l'hôtel pour l'instant et vaut largement le détour tant la cuisine est remarquable ainsi que l'accueil.
