08/06/2026: Meal for 24 people on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Impeccable service, the all-you-can-eat fried food was excellent, as were the desserts. Clean dining room. We go there often.

04/06/2026: Excellent food! We had a fried dish, thinly sliced, perfectly cooked, and very generous—a real treat! A great atmosphere and impeccable service. A fantastic place!

11/06/2026: Delicious appetizers, beautifully presented on a platter—just reheat the hot food! And a buffet of meats, charcuterie, and salads, all very well presented with sauces and condiments; my guests helped themselves several times. An excellent cake with homemade sponge, a generous topping of fresh fruit, and tasteful decoration. I highly recommend this caterer and their professional and friendly team.

22/05/2026: I'm from Besançon and know the Tandem bar and its good reputation quite well. However, on Friday, May 22nd, a friend and I went for drinks on the terrace. We enjoyed several beers in the sunshine and a charcuterie and cheese board. A great start to the weekend! 😎 The waitress was very friendly. But around 9 pm, just after I'd finished my drink, the owner came over and started cleaning the table insistently, making it clear that it was time to leave and vacate the table, saying, "I have to earn a living." We left without saying a word—we're usually quite polite—but we were very shocked. I'll definitely tell all my friends in Besançon about this experience. We'd had several drinks and eaten, and then we were kicked out as soon as we finished our drinks? We were stunned! From now on, I'll go for drinks elsewhere. There are so many nicer bars where you don't get kicked out as soon as your glass is empty. A word to the wise!

09/01/2026: AMAZING RESTAURANT! The staff are lovely, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the prices are reasonable! I'm lactose intolerant, and they made me a soy cream—they were incredibly kind and attentive! I highly recommend it!

25/04/2026: We tried the new menu and have no regrets. From the goat cheese tart (made with local products) to the 100% vegetable lasagna, and even the meat dishes on the menu, right through to dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was pleasant and excellent.

14/06/2026: As regulars at this establishment during our cycling trips, this was unfortunately the worst welcome we've ever received. Arriving around 1:50 pm, we were told that lunch was available and asked to wait at the bar to be seated inside. After waiting for about ten minutes, while we overheard some unpleasant comments about us, we were finally informed that they wouldn't be able to serve us due to a kitchen bottleneck. We then simply asked for a drink, which was also refused. The problem wasn't the refusal itself, but the lack of consideration: the unnecessary wait, the contradictory information, and the feeling of not being welcome. Very disappointing.

04/05/2026: Arrived without a reservation for lunch on May 1st. We were quickly given a table. Very pleasant dining room. A great set menu (even though it was May 1st) for €18. Very well-prepared dishes. Fresh, local produce. Friendly service. Inn near the departure point for the boats going to the Saut du Doubs waterfall. We'll gladly return!
