24/09/2026: Passing through again for a stopover during our trip to Bavaria, from September 8th to 9th. It was just like a few years ago. Perfect! Very friendly owner, warm atmosphere, and an excellent meal. I would gladly go back again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

27/09/2026: We loved eating at this restaurant. The food is excellent, the fried fish is very good, thin and boneless, even the pike-perch, which is a real plus. The portions are very generous; you definitely don't leave hungry. Finally, the welcome and atmosphere are very friendly.

20/08/2026: We went to this restaurant on August 13th and received good service. We ate fried food, which was fine except for the salad, which I found to be Chinese cabbage, not salad. We were also not served the wine we ordered, which was listed on the menu.

05/09/2026: Côté Pont – Maison de Cuisine is a wonderfully charming little restaurant in the heart of Pontarlier. The owner prepares a daily menu, from appetizer to dessert, with fresh, creative dishes and meticulous attention to detail. We were there last week, and the menu was fantastic: The appetizer was a beetroot quiche on a bed of salad—light, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned. The main course, a melt-in-your-mouth roast beef, was served with a delicious potato and cucumber gratin that was equally impressive. The owner is also wonderful: warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate.

30/08/2026: A restaurant with a retro and welcoming decor. The owner gave us a very warm welcome. There's only one set menu, and the wine list is presented in an old children's book. We had a lovely time there as a family and will probably return.

06/10/2026: I won't be returning and I don't recommend this restaurant: the prices are not justified by the service. Only the first impression was positive. We arrived on time and a waitress suggested we have a drink outside. As the weather was nice, we accepted. The waitress who then took our order seemed a little tense, but she was friendly. She had forgotten to ask us what we wanted to serve with our drinks, but she apologized and acknowledged her mistake, which we appreciated. However, we were brought two room-temperature Coca-Colas, already opened, without being told they were served that way. So I asked another waitress, a blonde woman who was at the counter and seemed to have more experience. She told me that it was normal and that was precisely why she had ordered glasses with ice. I asked her why no one had warned us before opening the bottles. I explained that a cold Coca-Cola and a Coca-Cola at room temperature with ice cubes don't give the same result: the ice cubes melt, diluting the drink and altering the taste. In a rather unfriendly tone, she simply replied that it was always served that way here, then turned her back on us, without apology or offering an alternative. And yet, it was our first visit. My ribeye steak was a little too salty, and my wife's fish seemed undercooked. We didn't make any further comments, as the reaction to our initial request had already discouraged us. Unfortunately, our experience echoes some of the reviews posted here on Google. The problem isn't making mistakes, but recognizing them and addressing them respectfully and courteously. 03/10/2026 2 per 6:30 PM
