31/03/2026: I received a very warm welcome. The menu was mouthwatering, with its diverse selection of dishes, all fresh and expertly prepared. The meat and vegetables were cooked to perfection, as was the seasoning. I enjoyed a small, local beer, which was very good. It's clear that every dish is prepared with care; in fact, the restaurant was packed on a Tuesday evening. The price, which might seem high at first glance, is fully justified by the quality of the food and the impeccable service. Thank you.

16/04/2026: We had an excellent birthday evening at this ideally located restaurant at the foot of the Citadel, in a former military riding school. The cuisine is refined, fresh, and perfectly seasonal. A cut above your average bistro, with impeccable service and beautifully presented dishes. Well done to the whole team! 19/11/2025: We visited this small, local French restaurant as tourists – and were absolutely delighted. The restaurant is only open from 12 pm to 2 pm and offers a different lunch menu each day. For €16, you get a complete package that's hard to find. As soon as you sit down, the very friendly owner brings a bottle of water to your table, along with a small carafe of wine (your choice of white, rosé, or red). This is followed by a starter and a main course – and the portions are generous! You'll definitely leave more than satisfied. Afterwards, cheese is offered (we were too full), followed by dessert, and finally, coffee – all included in the price. The quality of the food is excellent, the atmosphere is pleasantly local and authentic, and the value for money is unbeatable. A true highlight of our trip – we'll definitely be back!

The restaurant feels incredibly authentic, from the atmosphere to the walls, and everything reflects genuine old French charm. Update March 2025: Still just as fantastic. Despite a busy restaurant, the service was top-notch, and the quality of the food was consistently excellent. It truly is a quality restaurant. Our 8-year-old daughter was with us and was able to discover the inn's cuisine and whet her appetite for tomorrow... Update October 2025: Still just as good! The Bresse chicken was incredible, paired with a glass of wine from the Rhône... I wanted to go back before closing time. We'll miss you.
