04/05/2026: A very warm welcome; this is our second stay. The room was clean, the bedding comfortable, and the bathroom clean and functional. We stayed overnight on a half-board basis; dinner and breakfast were both very good. It's well located in the heart of the village with shops nearby.

14/08/2026: On Wednesday, August 12th at 6:30 PM, I stopped at this bakery to get a brie and Emmental sandwich. I was working the night shift at Framatome. I ate part of this tasteless sandwich—the bread was like rubber, and the cheese had no flavor at all—on the highway on my way home, 150 km away, after work. It's now Friday, August 14th, and I'm suffering from food poisoning, diarrhea, chills, extreme fatigue, body aches, a dry throat, stomach pain, and back pain... All this because of a sandwich! Luckily, I threw the rest away. (I couldn't go to work today.) AVOID the sandwiches at this establishment.

13/08/2026: We stopped at this bakery for lunch while passing through and we weren't disappointed! A very warm welcome, the staff were very friendly and smiling. There was a good selection, a large and tastefully decorated bakery, beautiful, and on top of that, the food was delicious! Plus, the parking lot was huge.

18/08/2026: Beautiful setting under the trees in a lovely rural area, slightly elevated. The ravioli were good (though a little watery). Good value for money.

12/08/2026: Lovely setting, beautiful shaded terrace, decent welcome, the service took a little while but they were quite busy with reservations. For my little ones, the set menu (kitten, steak frites, ice cream) and for us, burgers and fries, it was good and filling. The ice cream sundaes are very good. A nice little restaurant.

25/08/2026: A restaurant for people who are very careful with their dental bridges... Dishes swimming in a bisque-like sauce (the prawns were nicely grilled, but everything else—the vegetables, the gnocchi—was drowning in a bitter sauce... No texture, plus the smell = nursing home food), or breaded chicken breast placed on top of mashed potatoes that went completely soggy underneath. Soup for a starter, soup for dessert. Dessert, of course, was far too sweet. Very slow service with sulky faces if you don't order alcohol or an aperitif. No catering for children (pay for the adult menu for your 6-year-old and the resulting mess...) or vegetarians. Gray decor, very, very noisy atmosphere.

21/08/2026: We had already had the pleasure of dining at Le Bac à Traille during a residency with Chef Hugo Riboulet, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This week, we were tempted by the Asian menu, and it was another wonderful discovery! A veritable feast of appetizers, with very different flavors and plenty of surprises. There was a small mistake with the main course, which didn't spoil our experience at all. We simply pointed it out, and the chef thoughtfully prepared a little surprise for us with dessert as an apology. A gesture we truly appreciated. Original cuisine, beautiful flavors, and an attentive team. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ well deserved! We will gladly return.

25/08/2026: New manager. What a shame the concept has changed so drastically. Gone is the wide selection of starters and well-prepared main courses. Now there's no choice at all for weekend lunch service; it's limited to basic grilled meats and fries, and for dessert, pre-packaged pies. In short, it's cafeteria food. What a pity.

02/08/2026: Quite disappointed with the service...it's not the kind of restaurant we like.

09/07/2026: Very disappointed. I ordered a Hindy pizza, which was supposed to contain peppers… except there weren't any at all. They must have thought that dumping a jar of curry powder on the pizza would replace the other ingredients. The result: a dry pizza, with clumps of spices everywhere and a truly unpleasant taste. Plus, there was way more dough than topping. (As you can see in the picture) If for you a "curry" pizza is just sprinkling on an industrial amount of spices, maybe they should rethink the recipe. First and last time. 👎

24/06/2026: I had the misfortune of returning a pizza with an overcooked egg (which I specified before ordering for the third time). I encountered an arrogant owner who, under the pretext of being Sicilian, doesn't know how to make a sunny-side-up egg. He told me to go make a pizza at home; I'll probably do that, it'll surely be less dry than his. At the same time, after 50 years in the business, as he puts it, the passion has clearly gone a long way. I can't wait for this disrespectful man to retire; it's about time!

10/08/2026: Family visit at the end of July, excellent welcome, very pleasant terrace and delicious food.

03/08/2026: The place is pleasant, the service is efficient, but frankly the value for money isn't there. The portions are ridiculous, especially the salad starter, which was tiny. The octopus Provençal consisted of a few pieces of cold fish with just a few vegetables, so it wasn't really a side dish. You leave feeling completely hungry!

25/06/2026: During heat waves, they do not provide water, and charge 3.50 for a bottle of Evian filled with tap water.

01/06/2026: Good group this Saturday evening, but a mint tea and an Orangina for 10 euros. I'm not about to buy my friends a drink, and neither are they, at that price I'll just have a half-pint.
