09/06/2026: We had dinner here with friends after starting the evening with an aperitif, and everything was excellent. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and the service was outstanding. The staff were cheerful, friendly, and made us feel very welcome throughout the evening. We had a wonderful time, enjoyed every dish, and left with great memories. I highly recommend this place

09/06/2026: How do you fail to retain customers? Ask Bancel, they've figured it out. Have an unpleasant waitress who doesn't say hello or thank you, makes a customer wait 15 minutes for a coffee, and ignores their requests! That's the perfect recipe. Luckily, the food is decent. Definitely avoid it.

10/02/2026: No welcome whatsoever, cold and tasteless. We went as a family to the bakery section for a break, drawn in by the decor. Once inside, it was awkward. We stood there waiting while the saleswoman and another woman in the back looked at us, but nothing. After 5 minutes, we decided to order. The coffee was very bitter and the pastries bland. My son asked for the restroom and clearly disturbed them. It wasn't very polite, especially since a regular customer came in and was greeted with a "hello" and a glance. Don't waste your time there!

15/01/2026: We enjoyed everything. The kindness, friendliness, and professionalism of everyone. My husband had the set menu and I had a pizza. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The restaurant was packed, which explains it. A very nice place. I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back.

18/05/2026: The terrace is pleasant, but we were very disappointed with the cocktails, especially the virgin mojito... barely two sips, far too sweet, glass full of ice and mint leaves, in short, rubbish for €7, it's overpriced. It's a shame they don't know how to make proper cocktails...

21/02/2026: Excellent experience at Le Chanoine restaurant! The food is simply incredible: flavorful, generous dishes prepared with great skill. You can taste the passion in every plate. A huge plus for the waitress, who is absolutely fantastic: smiling, attentive, and very professional, she makes the experience even more enjoyable. A must-visit in Romans-sur-Isère, where you'll definitely want to return again and again. Well done!

05/07/2026: We have eaten here 4 times now during our 3 stays at the gîte in Moulin d'Antan, in this village. The food was incredibly delicious. There was also a wonderful vegetarian dish for me. The staff were very friendly and took plenty of time to explain things. A quiet and relaxed atmosphere. It was absolutely perfect for us!!

29/05/2026: If you're looking for a place to receive a rude welcome, poor service, and discover that there's practically nothing left on the menu, you've come to the right place! The waiter seemed to have undergone intensive training in being unpleasant, and the rest of the staff didn't improve matters. You almost wonder if they're deliberately trying to discourage customers… Mission accomplished; we'll never set foot in that place again. Enjoy your meal.

14/05/2026: An unplanned lunch stop on the way back from vacation. We received a warm welcome. The daily special was very good, although we would have preferred savory crepes (listed on the menu but unavailable). The weather didn't allow us to eat on the terrace. It must be lovely in the warmer months. We ate in the back room.

21/04/2026: The hotel manager was very kind when we made the reservation. However, we were a little disappointed with the quality of the rooms, as there were no power outlets near the headboards and significant soundproofing issues. Breakfast was adequate and can be enjoyed on the terrace if it's warm enough. All of this is enhanced by the ideal location in Buis-les-Baronnies, a beautiful little town.

19/04/2026: We also booked a room at the hotel. Very welcoming. Pleasant rustic style. Clean. Comfortable bedding. Room facing away from the street. Quiet. Lovely view. Close to the town center. Boules court opposite the bar. Breakfast available. Excellent value for money.

02/05/2026: A lovely baker and a delicious lunch to refuel us on the Via Rhôna! We kept the tote bag as a souvenir for the rest of our journey 😉

17/02/2026: Very good product, fair price compared to other bakeries in Saint-Vallier, lots of choice, I really appreciate that the apple turnover is made with real, good puff pastry.
