25/08/2026: It's always a pleasure to eat at the refuge. The welcome is always so friendly. And the view from the terrace is breathtaking.

24/08/2026: While looking for a place to have lunch off the motorway, we stumbled across this gem by sheer luck. It's tucked away in an industrial zone, true, but it has a pleasant outdoor seating area in a garden, and the interior is really nice, as well. The staff is very polite and friendly, attentive to guests' needs without being obtrusive. As for the food ... oh, dear. The 7-hour lamb was incredibly tender and succulent, paired with a fragrant sauce and great vegerables and polenta. This is what France is incredibly good in - such great surprises in unassuming little towns and villages.

07/08/2026: This is a must-visit spot, known for a long time and expertly run by Gaby and his wife. An incredible lunch menu. They cook with fresh, delicious ingredients 🥰🥰🥰 The welcome and service are very, very pleasant. What more could you ask for? Just a big thank you to everyone!

03/08/2026: Table of 18 adults and 6 children aged 3-8. Following our reservation made by phone, we had emailed our choices of starters and main courses, and even the number of cheeses and desserts we wanted. This wasn't very helpful. We already had a rather long wait before ordering our aperitifs, even though everyone was there, and then between the aperitif and the starter, and again for the main courses. Other tables, admittedly smaller, were served well before us... What's going on? Fortunately, the children received their main courses quickly, but then had to wait for us... a very long time (we thank the waitress who kept them occupied for a while). The menu was still enjoyable (a minor point about the four crème brûlées, which had a very strange texture), but it's a shame about the wait. The misting system wasn't appreciated (the smell?), so we asked for it to be reduced or even turned off.

22/07/2026: Excellent restaurant, as the name suggests, located on the banks of the Rhône with beautiful sunsets. Delicious food and efficient service. Highly recommended.

16/07/2026: The meal was very good. Negative point: the price of the aperitif was a bit excessive at €11 for an orange spritz, especially since it wasn't homemade. A little disappointed 🙄

04/08/2026: Simply grand. Forget the lavender, come to Provence to dine at this fine establishment. Reserve an outside table and get ready to be blown away by the quality of service provided by two young denizens of the region. The young boy must go up and down the stairs 110 times in a night and the young lady is the epitome of efficiency....and the food? Well....take a guess?:)

28/07/2026: We had a wonderful weekend at this hotel. The room was very cozy. The staff were very welcoming. The food was perfect, as was the breakfast. I highly recommend it. I'm keeping the contact information safe so I can come back next year.

21/08/2026: We had a wonderful time; from the food to the service, everything was excellent. A lovely wine list, enhanced by the helpful recommendations of the waitstaff. Seasonal dishes, perfectly executed from appetizer to dessert. Dog friendly.

22/08/2026: The kitchen floor was dirty. Dust in the restrooms, and only one toilet. They forgot to serve our main courses and brought us desserts directly without a valid apology. The waiter had no hygiene. The cook rummaged through the wooden cupboards and didn't replace them. The restaurant was very expensive. And the wait was extremely long, even though the restaurant was almost empty (2.5 hours). On the plus side, the pesto was very good.

21/08/2026: A real treat! Good restaurants are hard to find on the way home. The terrace was lovely. The service from every member of staff was excellent. The tuna was excellent, perfectly cooked. The sausages were excellent, and the ratatouille was superb. We highly recommend it. We even bought some of the chef's homemade honey! 😃

20/08/2026: Excellent!! A restaurant well worth a visit in Montélimar. From appetizer to dessert, everything is delicious. With very reasonable prices, the chef knows how to combine flavors with finesse. The service was also superb! Flawless.

The food is truly excellent, in a warm and friendly atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed this place and are happy to recommend it!
