A cozy place, a refined and careful decoration, the pleasure of a tablecloth and cloth napkins (this has become rare), artisanal tableware which promises a unique presentation, a perfect service, smiling, discreet but attentive. The concept: a unique menu with 3 dishes to choose from, which offers super original, tasty daily cuisine, the seasonings and cooking are perfect. Top from start to finish, a treat!

A decoration that will make motorcycle fans cry I don't even talk about the service Smiling, don't rush us, nice But then the burger He was excellent I had the montagnard and I'm not lying, it was the best burger I've eaten in my life And the old fashioned fries are perfectly crispy, I don't even talk about them I asked for a miraculous diabolo and I received a diabolo mug with a decoration The cook is an ace of flavors Frankly dark especially for this ridiculous price compared with this taste work

14/09/2024: Restaurant: wonderful traditional Provençal cuisine! I particularly recommend the ravioli and the leg of lamb with tapenade 😍. Very warm welcome and very efficient service, slightly retro decoration, quite charming. Only one wish, to come back very quickly!

24/12/2023: Five of us arrived one hour before closing time without reservation. We were welcomed and after a few moments we were take to a table in a gorgeous rock cavelike dining room. Only one of our party spoke some French but our hostess was very gracious and patiently gave us all the assistance we needed. The service was impeccable, the food was amazing in appearance and delicious to the palate. Thank you L’Oxalis for a perfectly wonderful evening.

14/09/2025: Thank you for this wonderful time. 6 adults, 2 children, and a one-year-old daughter, everything was perfect. The restaurant is ideal for fairy meals. Excellent meal overall, special mention for the desserts (we were less fond of the rather dry pollock). Everything is homemade and made with love, and it shows, thank you. The little games outside for the children were heaven. The wait staff are friendly and cheerful, it's really nice. Thank you for the ravioli gratin for the children; they finished everything off. It's nice to have other options than the traditional fries for the little ones. One small criticism? Grandpa's Yorkshire Terrier could have been discreetly hidden under the table; luckily the sun wasn't out so we could leave it in the car 😉

06/12/2025: La Comedia in Bourg-de-Péage offers the best value for money: €27 for a three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert), everything is homemade (even the ketchup!). There's a varied selection of starters, main courses (meat, fish, or burgers), and desserts. The pizzas and ravioli gratin à la carte are excellent. The service is warm and the atmosphere pleasant. I highly recommend it!

06/01/2026: The food was excellent, but the dining room was very noisy when there were groups, and the wait was excessively long: over an hour for our starters. We had to skip dessert so we wouldn't be late for work. Otherwise, the dishes were very well prepared, delicious, and flavorful, made with fresh farm produce.

28/09/2024: A great first experience in this restaurant, the place is very beautiful combining class and sobriety, the chef's cuisine is fine, full of delicacy, the flavors original and inventive. We haven't eaten so well in several years... We will come back very soon throughout the seasons to follow the evolution of the menu
