16/04/2026: This just goes to show you shouldn't hesitate to leave a place where you're poorly received if it leads to a place like this. After being turned away because of the time at an establishment we won't name, what a brilliant idea it was to call the Phoenix Refuge! Despite the late hour, 1:40 pm, we were welcomed. Two very friendly gentlemen greeted and served us warmly. The view from our table was beautiful; there was even a spotting scope available, and the chamois were right there in the peephole! We had a wonderful meal, and even the chef's "goodbye" from his window, with a clearly sincere smile, was a pleasant touch.

07/05/2026: A great experience at Basics 4! The staff are really friendly and welcoming, and you immediately feel at ease. We didn't have to wait long to order, which was very nice. I ordered the burger of the month, and frankly, it was excellent; the sauce was also delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the quality offered. I recommend it 😊

16/04/2026: Disappointing experience. We ate here last summer, and everything was very good and excellent value for money. But apparently things have changed… Today I ordered the hand-cut Angus beef tartare, and there were large pieces (even for hand-cut tartare) and it wasn't well-seasoned. I like beef tartare; I often order it, and I've tried it in different restaurants, but I have to admit this is the first time I've only eaten half of it. We also ordered a burger, which we asked for rare, and it was cooked very well. As for the salmon dish, the salmon was good, but as a side dish, there was a whole leek, with the root end intact, slightly charred on the outside, but raw on the inside—inedible.

04/03/2026: Charming owners, a truly excellent chef, impeccable service, a spotless room, the setting, the peace and quiet, the surroundings… everything was perfect. Be sure to book in advance, as this place is popular. We will definitely be back.

16/02/2026: It's hard to understand the overwhelmingly positive reviews... We were probably just unlucky; everything was just average, with no particular flavor. The conclusion was simple: we could have made everything at home. We might give it another chance.

11/04/2026: Excellent burgers! The fries and aioli sauce are to die for. We always order them as an extra because they're so delicious! The owner is very welcoming and friendly! We used to order from Uber Eats, but after this experience, we definitely plan to come back regularly. It's rare to find burgers with such high-quality ingredients these days. This isn't fast food, but a really good restaurant with truly well-crafted recipes. Don't hesitate for a second :)

24/04/2026: We've been coming here for six years now, whenever we're in the area, and we've never been disappointed. We only come for the ravioli gratins (a regional specialty). We especially love the one with blue cheese or Roquefort; it's absolutely divine. The service is excellent, the staff is always so friendly, the food, the setting—everything!
