25/09/2026: A very warm welcome, excellent cuisine beautifully presented (the roasted octopus is delicious, as is the tuna tataki), a generous children's menu and a very pleasant setting on the terrace under the arches!

21/09/2026: We went early one morning; the view of the arches and the new square was lovely. The welcome was friendly, and the service was excellent. I can't comment on the food as we only had coffee and tea.

22/07/2026: We arrived for dinner, and the waitress seated us on a patio. We waited there for 15 minutes, then went to see the waitress, who told us she was coming. Fifteen minutes later, we went to the front desk to ask for help for this poor waitress who was working alone. The employee kindly told us he would take care of the service. Fifteen minutes later, still nothing... Two customers had been waiting for their desserts for two hours... When we left, the front desk employee said, "Oh, that's a shame, I was just about to serve you..." We waited 45 minutes in the heat of the patio without even having our drink orders taken. Two employees at the front desk were chatting while a waitress ran around. The food seemed good, but the service was deplorable. The customers on the patio were getting up one by one to leave the establishment.

09/09/2026: Very disappointing. We really didn't enjoy the experience, and instead of trying to understand what was wrong, we were simply asked to leave. The welcome and the way the situation was handled were frankly unpleasant. It completely ruined the experience. I do not recommend it.

09/09/2026: We came to this café for three days during a business trip. The first two days were fine, but the service on the last day definitely put us off. We arrived very early, with about forty tables available. We were criticized for not saying hello to the man at the reception desk, when we simply hadn't heard him. We sat down and ordered a coffee before hitting the road again. A woman then came to tell us that we needed to "order more" and that I had to remove my bottle of Cristaline water from the table because it came from the bakery next door. With so many empty tables and customers who had been patrons for several days in a row, a little more customer service and courtesy would have been appreciated. It's a shame, because out of three days, this last experience is what we'll remember.

06/09/2026: I went there twice. The first time was quite late in the evening. The owner wasn't particularly pleasant, but his waiter was much more so. There wasn't much choice for a "beer house." The second time was for lunch. No complaints there. Pleasant and quick service, and a good meal. Delos has a covered terrace.

27/09/2026: We had barely arrived when our orders for aperitifs were quickly taken, but we had to wait 20 minutes for them. I should mention that there were about ten customers in the restaurant. When we placed our order, we were told that half the menu wasn't available, including crepes, pasta, waffles, and the butcher's cut. Two out of three dishes arrived, and after waiting another 15 minutes, we were informed that an ingredient was missing for the third pizza. We then had to wait another 10 minutes for it to be brought to us. In total, we spent two hours eating just one dish. The waitress was neither smiling nor welcoming. Avoid this restaurant if you're in a hurry and don't want to eat much.

15/08/2026: People come to Saint-Roch for what it is: the authenticity of a legendary place that transcends trends and eras. Personally, I love it. It's unpretentious and down-to-earth. It's the Montpellier I love, and which is sadly disappearing.

27/07/2026: We had a pretty good time. Game night, great atmosphere and all. But when it came time to pay the bill, things weren't so great. We arrived before 8:00 PM. During the service, we were given the happy hour menu. So we assumed, "That's what those are." There was no explanation given during the service. The prices on the receipt were clearly not the happy hour prices (see photo). I didn't understand the bill; did we pay full price, or were the menu prices for half-pints? Furthermore, we ordered guacamole, but we didn't have enough tortilla to finish it. I asked if we could get more; I was willing to pay extra. The server replied, "We don't do that." Okay, so you'd rather throw the food away? That's pretty unpleasant. I hate wasting food.

06/09/2026: I'm changing my initial 5-star rating and review because I just saw a cashier serve a slice of pizza with her bare hands and without gloves. She cut a strand of cheese with her fingers before putting it back on top of the slice.

04/09/2026: Passing by late in the day, close to closing time, I was offered a large chorizo ​​pizza even though the pizza shelf was empty... I was surprised and delighted that they offered me this service so late to make my day! Arthur quickly and professionally made an excellent chorizo ​​pizza, cooked to perfection! 14/09/2026: Everything was perfect, even though the server was constantly rushing around because of the crowd. The portions were generous; I ordered an extra-large chicken skewer and couldn't finish it. My wife had the mussels and fries and she loved it.

12/09/2026: A salad for lunch. The chicken salad was generously portioned. The chicken was homemade breaded with a seeded coating. Tender and hot. Parmesan shavings. A bit too much salad dressing, straight from a container. Dessert: Alpine ice cream. Very good. In September. Quick and friendly service from a smiling waitress.

04/09/2026: Hello, I stopped by the MAXIME restaurant last night and wasn't disappointed at first, except for the dated decor. Everything seemed perfect, except when I got home three hours after dinner. What a nasty surprise! Two people had food poisoning, diarrhea, and vomiting (the meal was a seafood platter with shrimp and oysters, and swordfish). I wouldn't recommend ordering fish or shellfish.

26/08/2026: Nice restaurant, cool service, very reasonable prices. Quick, basic service, but perfectly adequate. The only problem was with the cooking; they confused rare with medium-rare.

24/08/2026: Bad experience with the waiters, no table prepared, 10 minutes to get bread after serving us the mussels (very, very salty).
