19/09/2024: We had been there 6 years ago and it was very good. But in September 2024 we were refused a table although it was free because it was 1:00 p.m. This allowed us to try a restaurant 50m away, much more professional where we enjoyed ourselves.

26/08/2024: A culinary experience not to be missed! We had a great time in this restaurant. The cuisine is creative, refined, delicate, surprising... Enhanced by a very judicious food and wine pairing. The service was very pleasant, the restaurant very elegant... We will come back with great pleasure! Only downside: the limited choice of non-alcoholic drinks. Apart from this point, perfect!!

23/08/2024: Very bad reception. For arriving 10 minutes late (almost impossible mission to park in Sete in summer despite our early departure) the chef refused to take us but also refused to reimburse us in full for the meals already paid for online. He accused us of being among those who are asking questions and causing problems for restaurateurs (all for being 10 minutes late). After much negotiation we ended up being able to eat a menu adapted so that it was shorter to serve, and we finished at exactly the same time as the other customers. All that for that! A romantic birthday date well wasted, despite the very good quality of the dishes.

29/08/2024: I came 3 times at lunchtime! Very good service and very warm welcome. On top of that, the meals were excellent. If I'm in the area, I'll come back without any worries!

05/09/2024: Une expérience culinaire exceptionnelle à La Table de Castigno ! Ce restaurant gastronomique niché au cœur du village d'Assignan a été une véritable découverte. Le menu proposé était un voyage des sens : chaque plat, préparé avec des ingrédients locaux, nous a surpris par son inventivité et ses saveurs exquises. Les associations de goûts étaient sublimes et la présentation des plats très soignée. Mention spéciale pour le plat en 3 préparations de Sériole de Méditerranée qui combinait des saveurs audacieuses avec une finesse incroyable. L'atmosphère de la salle à manger, avec son décor raffiné et sa vue sur le jardin, a parfaitement complété l'expérience culinaire. L'accord mets et vins proposé par le sommelier était également parfait, nous permettant de découvrir des vins locaux qui se marient parfaitement avec les plats. Petit point négatif, le service du maître d'hôtel n'a malheureusement pas été à la hauteur de la qualité de la cuisine. Cela manquait de convivialité et d'attention, ce qui a quelque peu contrasté avec le professionnalisme du reste de l'équipe et le raffinement de l'établissement. Un petit bémol qui, je l'espère, sera amélioré à l'avenir pour que l'expérience soit véritablement parfaite. Je recommande vivement La Table de Castigno à tous les amateurs de gastronomie à la recherche d'une expérience unique. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute pour revivre ce moment magique. Encore bravo à Justine & Stephan !

31/03/2024: We went there on 23.02.24. We tested the meal in "Black Out". Great original experience and sought-after cuisine. Nice setting. We enjoyed and recommend the experience of dining in the dark.

28/03/2024: We tested the kitchen in complete darkness. It was very entertaining and only amplified the taste effects. We have adored. It was an excellent discovery.

31/08/2024: We come as a family to enjoy a good value for money meal at the time of the musical fountains. Welcoming, attentive and very pleasant staff. Good food and choice. It's always a pleasure. The only downside is that the tables near the trees are unfortunately accompanied by flies throughout the meal... it's very unpleasant, to see if the terrace can be moved.. That would be really cool.

17/09/2024: Il est toujours difficile de choisir un restaurant pour ses amis ou sa famille, mais là tout y est : un joli cadre verdoyant, la qualité et la générosité dans les assiettes, un personnel sympathique. Entre terre et mer,plats raffinés, savoureux et généreux de l'apéritif (plancha de charcuterie, huîtres gratinées, brochettes crevettes/chorizo) au repas d Anniversaire ( menu épicurien). Le tout terminé par un délicieux et beau gâteau. Nous remercions vivement le patron et le personnel qui sont à l'écoute, dynamiques, souriants et à nos petits soins. Le service est impeccable. Ce fut une parenthèse enchantée pour nous et la famille. A titre personnel, je recommande et nous reviendrons.

04/09/2024: We have already come several times because the meal was excellent but apparently a change of owner in the meantime disappointed with the dishes then excessive for the quality of the dishes super long service I do not recommend at all it is a shame that it is a change of owner..

08/09/2024: A delicious restaurant where the value for money is just excellent. The service was very pleasant in a beautiful setting, and the dishes were tasty and well balanced. It was the first time I had such good quality truffle brie. The pink was also very good. I highly recommend stopping there. We will come back next year without any hesitation.

04/09/2024: Had read mixed reviews so was a bit weary but the menu looked fantastic. Glad we took the plunge. Staff were cheery and service great. I had the seared tuna and sesame, wife had sea bass and bacon. We shared the curried muscles - they were amazing. It’s not cheap but you’re paying for the location.

20/09/2024: Food is not good for the price. It's not tasty... If you have to visit this place, just have a beer. I recommend maison or pica next door.

29/08/2024: The service was good, but the food was disastrous. The salad dressing that was spread all over the food was not edible. The burger had some herbs in it that didn't taste good. The pasta salad was also mixed with the disgusting salad dressing and was not edible.
