28/09/2024: Lamentable. The restaurant accepts a reservation, confirms by telephone, and upon arrival refuses the table, explaining that they cannot accommodate us and sends us back to the castle tavern. Unacceptable. A very big thank you to the tavern who did its utmost to ensure and welcome us.
12/09/2024: This hotel has remained in its original state and that is what makes it authentic. The owner is very nice and deserves a lot of credit for the running of her hotel and restaurant. The rooms are simple but functional. The meals are fresh and delicious. Thank you for your welcome.

08/09/2024: Simple restaurant. The service was very friendly and attentive, the prices are low, but this is also reflected in the quality of the food. Ultimately suitable for a quick meal that should be cheap.
17/08/2024: A joy! The attentive owner cooks homemade food with simplicity and kindness.
She prepared a small pasta dish which was not on the menu for our 9 year old daughter, a very kind gesture!
Positive comments don't lie to you, don't hesitate to push the door!

28/08/2024: After going up and down the stairs and there, seeing the famous little girls, and the bottom of the lower pit of the tower of the castle of Loches, visiting the magnificent castle, we decided to stop at the café brasserie café des arts, where we were well received,
The customer service is impeccable, the Périgord and Lochoise salad dishes are excellent!
We noticed that the salads are loaded with meat, which is a good thing!
Tiramisu desserts, and unfortunately crème brûlée (just kidding 🤣)
Everything was perfect!
Thank you to the managers, cooks, waitresses for their kindness.
27/08/2024: Après avoir monté et descendu les escaliers et il y en a, vu les fameuses fillettes,et la basse fosse de la tour du château de Loches, visité le magnifique château, nous avons décidé de nous poser au café brasserie café des arts, où nous fûmes bien accueilli,
Le service client est impeccable, les plats de salades périgourdine,et lochoise, excellents !
Nous avons constaté que les salades sont bien garnies en viande, ce qui est une bonne chose !
Les desserts tiramisu,et une crème malheureusement brûlée ( je rigole 🤣)
Tout était parfait !
Merci aux responsables, cuisiniers, serveuses pour leur gentillesse.

04/09/2024: Ate here tonight and after a slight issue with my steak, which was quickly rectified, we had a lovely meal and a great night. The lovely owner was very patient with our lack of French and went above and beyond to sort out my issue. I will be returning for my dessert tomorrow as was too full tonight. Lovely atmosphere and beautiful surroundings! Will definitely visit again.

The friendly and warm welcome from the owner, the well-paced and pleasant service, the hearty dishes which smell good of the terroir, the cellar which also delights the taste buds
Beautiful little nest at the foot of the castle
Personally, I recommend the beuchelle

05/09/2024: Waited 45 minutes to take our order. Extremely slow service, yet they are not bad in Service. The dishes are good, and the desserts are quite high for the quantity
01/09/2024: Magnificent restaurant with an incredible terrace overlooking the castle walls, very friendly and kind staff, the meal was incredible, it was all very good, the only small thing was the desserts were not up to the standard of the dishes served.

It is indicated that the products are fresh and homemade. I had doubts about the fries because they were crispy on the outside but cold on the inside, the same goes for the French toast.
You still have to count for a glass of wine, a duck breast and French toast around 33 euros per person
Very clean toilet.
Modern room.

31/07/2024: The one staff member there was very friendly. But they were understaffed for the relatively large tourist crowd they had the night we stayed there. Also there was no one answering the phone or at the front desk until 4 PM though the website said someone would be there after 8 AM.

Efficient service but a little long to get dishes and a wait to pay due to a table of 12 people who paid before us and only one person to cash...
Too bad because the service was provided by pleasant, welcoming and efficient people.

11/12/2024: I had ordered a cake and by the time she served me the cake I wanted to go to the toilet and then she told me no sorry you can't go to the toilet you still need a cake it's not like you are going to give me my figure
09/12/2024: Really disgusting chai latte that consisted only of hot powdered milk. All this for 4€10. I absolutely do not recommend it, it's a waste of money.
However, I can highly recommend their hot chocolate which is very, very good (even if slightly too sweet if I can nitpick a little on the details) and their pastries too!
