29/08/2026: The menu and setting looked very appealing, but we were disappointed by the service and especially by the complete lack of options for people with food intolerances. Being gluten and lactose intolerant, I was prepared to adapt, but the person who served us didn't really try to find a solution and didn't seem particularly concerned about us leaving without being able to eat there. She even seemed relieved! It's a shame, especially in a tourist area. Food intolerances are not a choice and deserve to be taken seriously.

21/08/2026: Our lunch at L'Ambroisie, for my daughter and me, felt like a moment outside of time. Calm. Gentle. Thanks to the attentive, smiling staff, full of thoughtful touches. Chef Taormina's cuisine is bursting with flavor. He even managed to get my daughter to eat duck—an admirable feat! For my part, I was particularly taken with the crab and the apricot trompe-l'œil. As a wine enthusiast, I was delighted by Ms. Taormina's choice of wines to accompany our meal. See you very soon, L'Ambroisie!

30/06/2026: What a great find! Passing through at the end of my motorcycle road trip, I truly enjoyed everything here. The location, quite secluded in Bois Barbu, is peaceful and perfect for relaxing. I love the layout of both the grounds and the inn itself. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The comfort is definitely appreciated. The half-board meals are home-cooked, prepared with quality ingredients. The dishes are appetizing and delicious. A garage is available for bicycles and motorcycles, which is a nice touch. A place to definitely remember in the area!

30/06/2026: What a pleasure it was to stay at the Auberge des Montauds! We received a warm, welcoming, and friendly reception that immediately made us feel at home. Located above Villard-de-Lans, the inn offers a peaceful setting in the heart of nature. If you're looking for tranquility, greenery, and a real breath of fresh air, you'll be delighted. It's also a little paradise for motorcyclists. Our room, while modest in size, was very comfortable and perfectly suited to our stay. We also greatly appreciated the shaded terrace, ideal for enjoying the excellent half-board meals, which were generous and carefully prepared. Breakfast was equally delicious, varied, and plentiful—the perfect way to start the day. A big thank you to the entire team for their kindness and hospitality. 01/08/2026: It tasted good. Unfortunately, I ordered a different crêpe and didn't like the one I received because it had bananas in it. I pointed this out to the waitress, and she apologized. However, I still had to pay the extra €2 and received no other compensation. Very disappointing, especially considering the price.

17/07/2026: A cuisine with character, daily specials, a warm welcome, and service provided by the chef—we didn't expect to find a gourmet restaurant...a real gem. Almost impossible to get a table without a reservation; there were many regulars when we were there. Only local products are used.

14/07/2026: A wonderful romantic dinner on the terrace. The set menu features seven courses, which can be shared or enjoyed individually. The culinary standard is high, and the chef, who personally oversees the service, adds a personal touch that completes a rare and unexpected experience in the Chartreuse region.

10/05/2026: A fantastic evening experience for two! We received a very warm welcome and the atmosphere was lovely. When we made the reservation, we were asked if we had any dietary restrictions. The menu was limited, with only six items, all seasonal. It was absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be back!
