06/12/2025: Very good restaurant with a warm welcome. The fish was excellent, but the portion was a bit small, which was a shame. The young rooster was perfect. The hazelnut dessert was delicious. There was a bit of a wait between courses, and the dining room was a little noisy.

29/11/2025: We went there based on the reviews and were disappointed. The wait was far too long, I didn't like my ravioli at all... the dessert was overpriced and not very good either, and the noise was awful. You couldn't even hear yourself speak... I would never go back

30/11/2025: We came for our father's birthday and unfortunately the entire meal disappointed us (mediocre wine and very basic dishes). We were usually delighted with this restaurant, which is why we chose it. To top it all off, once we started our dessert, the chocolate plaque with "Happy Birthday" written on it, which was supposed to be on our father's dessert, arrived afterward and was given to his son! We won't be back.

09/12/2025: Hello, I'm a truck driver. I arrived at lunchtime to find an empty parking lot. Someone approached me and told me I had to park on the other side in another lot so I wouldn't be blocked in with the cars and vans. So, I'm telling you, if you don't want truck drivers in your restaurant at lunchtime anymore, that's fine. Don't neglect them. I wasn't happy about having to park in the other lot, so I left. You're not getting my money, sorry, I don't agree. 😡 Good luck with everything.

15/12/2024: While in Angers for the Christmas market, we really enjoyed the filled buckwheat pancakes and the wheat pancakes. Perfect for vegetarians because you can choose the ingredients for your pancake! The homemade whipped cream was delicious. I will come back for lunch in this creperie with pleasure during my next visit to Angers. Happy Christmas.

16/09/2024: This delightful refuge deserves 10 stars. We had an unforgettable week nestled in our beautiful room and feasting daily on exceptional food creatively presented. The young chef, trained in a Michelin star restaurant, was consistently creative without going overboard. Every meal was a delight. Arnaud’s influence was always present as the château staff gave us memory after memory and cheerfully accommodated every need and wish. Arnaud and the staff all speak excellent English. A breathtaking facility dedicated to its guests. We recommend it highly and without reservation. We look forward to returning next year.

Smiling, adorable welcome. Very clean. Many workers on lunch break. We are 2 retirees delighted with this stop in Beaucouzé. THANKS.

19/07/2024: You are welcomed with a smile. You have a starter buffet then the choice between 4 dishes then dessert buffet then a coffee. The meal is very good, all for a small price. On Thursday and Friday an aperitif is served.

We had a very delicious meal - have eaten lots of duck breasts on this trip and tonight’s was the most tender with a delicious combination of flavours. The beef also tasty with fresh seasonal vegetables. Waitstaff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend you eat here!

01/10/2024: After a short stay in this establishment, we wanted to share our experience, which was not very positive. Hotel: Disappointed with our night: Room on the road side very noisy, with a lot of traffic. You can't hear the TV well if the window is open (which is also restricted in terms of sound volume) Room partitions absolutely not soundproof. TV against the wall perpendicular to the bed?????? What do we do once lying down? No articulated arm to direct it. Small room for the price No air conditioning, a simple fan column to plug in if necessary. Small bathroom, our sink was broken. Shower tile joint to be reviewed Good bedding but not the pillows, poor quality, no density, too soft, bad night's sleep. No other bed linen available, duvet, additional pillows? In short, the minimum. Restaurant for regulars probably, in any case that was our feeling seeing the attitude of the unsmiling waitresses at our table, the two gentlemen, very good. the reception of the establishment in the afternoon could be more cheerful and welcoming. Breakfast: No continental breakfast, no choice. Rationed! A small croissant in a basket with two pieces of bread, salted butter, chemical orange juice and at no time are we offered more bread or other choice. As for the hotel, it does not live up to what we expected from photos and certain comments. The restaurant: What we liked and what we didn't like: Very good dishes that we chose from the menu. Fine cuisine. Well set table. What we didn't like: Downside for the à la carte cheese platter, we are offered different varieties but served in limited quantities that we cut into a small plate, and presto, the cart leaves immediately. 10 euros a plate, very expensive for so little and we are not offered more, like bread. Dessert Chocolate good but minimalist. You shouldn't be too hungry. To conclude, we were disappointed with the hotel's services. Really unfortunate.
