16/08/2026: A truly fantastic restaurant! Sophisticated, creative cuisine without feeling pretentious – beautifully presented and exceptionally flavorful. An excellent wine list. A particular highlight: our children felt welcome and valued and were given a really good children's menu. The service was exceptionally warm and attentive; despite the language barrier, everything worked perfectly. We felt completely at ease and almost like royalty. Highly recommended!

12/08/2026: Refined cuisine featuring local produce, showcasing both freshwater fish and meats. Vegetarians are not forgotten, with a vegetarian option available. Special mention goes to the cheese menu, which offers cooked cheeses, a welcome change from the traditional assorted cheese platter.

01/09/2026: As a long-time customer, I know this establishment very well, but I feel it has lost some of its luster. While the overall experience is still decent, the wine selection is no longer quite up to par. It's also a shame to be served on chipped plates, a detail that stands out in a place like Angers.

17/08/2026: I ordered a strong, dry cider and received a sweet, tasteless apple juice. I also ordered two galettes: one burrata and one Savoyarde. The burrata was sparsely filled, and the Savoyarde was dry and underfilled. A more generously filled galette would have been much better; it gave the impression of skimping on ingredients and made the dish feel rather empty, with so much galette compared to the rest of the meal. A shame.

The service was also excellent: quick, efficient, and above all, with really friendly staff 😊. It's the kind of unpretentious place where you come for a good meal and leave with a smile. The menu is excellent value for money, as everything is included, from a glass of Cabernet d'Anjou as an aperitif to coffee. And above all, you won't leave hungry because the portions are generous. If you love fouées or want to discover them, this is the place to go.

17/05/2026: Passing through Angers before heading back to Paris, we tried La Soufflerie to discover the concept. The idea of ​​a soufflé is original and a welcome change from traditional restaurants. We ordered a Savoyard soufflé, a ham and cheese soufflé, a salmon and spinach galette, and two sweet strawberry soufflés. Honestly, it wasn't bad, but we left rather disappointed. Perhaps I'm not a big fan of soufflés, but overall we felt they lacked a bit of flavor and depth. We were expecting something more indulgent and with more pronounced flavors. The desserts were decent too, but nothing memorable. In the end, nearly €70 for three people seemed quite expensive considering the experience. It's a shame, because the concept really had potential.

16/05/2026: It was a discovery, one my father took us to 30 years after his first visit. The concept is fantastic, the soufflés are visually stunning, delicious, served quickly, and all at the same time! I highly recommend going to support this institution!

18/08/2026: This was our first time at this restaurant. The setting was pleasant, the overall tasting menu quite good, and the service provided by a young waiter was simple but very much appreciated. However, with an outside temperature of 37/38°C, and the French doors left open throughout the meal to let in the hot air, as there is no air conditioning; not even a fan to provide some ventilation, which was undoubtedly also hot. As a result, we didn't fully appreciate our meal as we surely should have. This is very regrettable.

06/08/2026: A bad first impression at the meeting to finalize the meal. We were seated at the far end of the bar and our reservation was noted on a sticky note. The welcome was cold and without a smile. Despite the intense heat, there was no air conditioning or fan. It was a family meal – 28 people, including a young baby. What a shame, we won't be returning.

They serve you lots of rolls, and it's just as well, because when you see the portions arrive...we thought it was a joke...a tiny...tiny pot of rillettes for two...2 tiny...tiny slices of meat each with a similarly small side dish...and for the cheese...I burst out laughing...a tiny plate for 6...The children's menu...a disgrace...😠😡😠 In short...keep walking...
