05/09/2026: Enjoyable meal in a very pretty setting

05/09/2026: We were handed the menu with the words, "Our menu." However, the menu only listed either a four-course or a six-course menu. When we inquired, we were told that the dishes weren't announced beforehand; that was the concept. We didn't understand why we were given a menu at all. The choice was between meat and fish. There was an incredibly extensive wine list (which overwhelmed us). The food was disappointing, especially considering the high prices. Some of it was bland. In our opinion, there was a lot of unnecessary talk (you need to be fluent in French to understand it), but the individual courses didn't live up to the hype. The ambiance was lovely, in a beautiful location.

17/05/2026: We stayed one night in this magnificent hotel where everything is done to make every moment unforgettable. The grounds are very well maintained. We were able to enjoy the pool on this sunny May 1st. The setting was very pleasant for dinner with soothing background music. The breakfast is exceptional, with fresh, homemade products. The staff is extremely friendly and the owner is very attentive. We will return with immense pleasure. See you soon.

13/08/2026: A very pleasant restaurant; I ate on the terrace. The service was quick and enjoyable, with a lovely view of the castle. The salad and lemon tart were both excellent. Everything was beautifully presented. It was delicious!

10/08/2026: They sure were busy! Arrived at 12.40 ish and were asked to return in 20-30 mins as all tables were taken - so we did at about 1.15. Stood around for at least 10 minutes trying to get any of the staff to engage with us regarding a now empty table with one chair. We were then told to come back in 20 mins and because I pointed out the empty table and that there were several unoccupied chairs for us to use, I feel that then their latent anti English attitudes came out. We totally ignored again. After a Google translate asking for a drink while we waited, it was 2 o'clock before they took our order and at 2.22pm 2 nice duck dishes arrived - just as we were leaving cash on the table for the beers! If there had been any other restaurants open we would have gone there instead. The service was slow because they were busy, but the attitude made the wait intolerable!

14/06/2026: Hello, we had a very good meal with generous portions, which was a real treat. It was a bit away from the noise of the square and in the shade. The waitresses were very kind and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was very reasonably priced for the quality. Congratulations to Romain and his team, as well as to the waitress. 30/05/2026: Excellent crêperie! The crêpes and galettes are truly delicious, generously filled, and made with fresh ingredients. A real treat! The service is quick, friendly, and welcoming. Pleasant atmosphere and very reasonable prices. I highly recommend it!

15/07/2026: Perfect, excellent mojito, and I highly recommend the pizzas (the goat cheese and the Reblochon). They are excellent. The view is lovely, and despite the heat, we enjoyed it thanks to the pleasant breeze, and we were in the shade on the boat. It was a very enjoyable experience we had this lunchtime, and we thank our servers Sarah and Antoine for their excellent service. We will definitely come back.

14/08/2026: Exquisite cuisine, our best meal in the Loire Valley. The octopus carpaccio was perfectly delicate, as it should be, with a very interesting presentation. The guinea fowl ballotine was truly juicy and flavorful, while my husband's pork confit was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The service was efficient and attentive. The only slight drawback was the lack of air conditioning on a sweltering day with mosquitoes, which made the atmosphere a little oppressive. Even investing in a small fan would have been beneficial. Otherwise, I highly recommend this restaurant!

22/06/2026: An excellent experience! The restaurant is located on a quiet side street. The seating is lovely, spread over several levels. There's a charming little courtyard. I had lunch here. The quiche, the almond rice pudding, and the homemade iced tea were wonderful. You can taste the high-quality ingredients. The service was warm and attentive. In short: I'll definitely be back.

03/08/2026: We had a lovely lunch there during a very large family meal. However, the staff could have been a bit more welcoming and attentive. We felt like we were intruding because of our family presence. The meal was good value for money.
