01/04/2026: We went there for the open house for my son, who wants to become a waiter.
We received a very warm welcome from a student who gave us a tour of the kitchens, classrooms, and other facilities. We also had the opportunity to chat with some of the other students.
The apprentices all greeted us. Their professionalism is immediately apparent.
The setting is magnificent, in a castle that has retained its charm.
We highly recommend it!
26/03/2026: Avoid this school at all costs. The principal is disrespectful to her students and threatened to expel one student based on her friends. The teachers don't give us proper lessons (either they leave us with no choice but to do nothing, or we have one hour of class and the rest of the day is wasted). Furthermore, the school I'm supposed to be attending blocked me on Instagram, and the principal talks about me to my classmates. Frankly, this school is one to avoid, whether it's the principal or the teachers. We learn nothing in class; the books are more interesting than they are.
And given the other Google reviews, I'm not surprised by their behavior.

12/06/2025: A very warm welcome, the staff is friendly and attentive.
The decor is warm and welcoming. A wide selection of beers, wine, whiskey, rum, and rum liqueurs are available.
Bottles of beer are deposited (discount on your next purchase if you return them), and cases are also deposited. Keg and beer machine rentals are available for your evenings at home.
Two areas: one for shopping and one for tasting.
There is also a terrace with tables and chairs. A dartboard is available next to the restrooms.
This establishment also offers a variety of evening events throughout the year (including afternoons).
Closing at 8:00 PM or 9:00 PM depending on the day of the week.
Small bells remind you of your last drink and to stop drinking.
I recommend it.

15/02/2026: Valentine's Day menu last night.
The welcome was charming, the setting pleasant enough, but nothing more.
The ambitious and expensive two-starter, two-course menu was unfortunately very disappointing. Everything fell flat: poached scallops were tasteless, the foie gras was mushy, the turbot was overcooked, and the veal was beautiful but served with a dry and bland side dish (no truffle to be found).
The main course, a lackluster Neufchâtel cheese with rose, and an overly sweet dessert did nothing to improve the experience.
A major disappointment. A Michelin star is nowhere near its potential, even if the wine list prices might lead you to believe it's already there.
15/02/2026: Thank you again for a wonderful Valentine's Day evening; we had a lovely time.
The meal was perfect, as was the service.
This was our second evening after the truffle dinner, and we will gladly return next month for the beef dinner.
We had a pleasant chat with the owners, who were very attentive.

14/03/2026: I was very satisfied with my visit, although I find the portions aren't as generous as they used to be. The place is friendly and welcoming; it's always a lovely time to get together as a family. Our 4-year-old and 6-year-old children enjoy coming here. We've been loyal customers for over 10 years now, and we're happy to know François. He's incredibly kind, and my children adore him. He was very attentive to them, and given their adventurous age, he was able to calm them with his presence. However, when we arrived, his colleague seemed annoyed by my youngest son's behavior. Fortunately, I appreciated how François took care of us; we felt privileged. It was a pleasure, and we'll gladly return. However, having François as our host and being served is a bit of a challenge. He manages to make us feel important, and even when we commented on the portion size, he remained professional. Even my mother was present and appreciated François' gentleness and patience; we will return, but the dishes in the kitchen need to be more generous.
13/03/2026: My wife and I usually come to eat here once or twice a month with our 7-year-old and sometimes my teenage daughter. The welcome is always satisfactory, and we're very happy with the service and the quality of the food. When there's a small problem (which is rare), we don't hesitate to mention it, and it's resolved quickly. The owner is very friendly; he even sometimes comes to chat with our little boy.
We're never disappointed; the team is friendly and professional. 😉

We received a warm welcome upon arrival, and the staff were attentive and always available. The service was impeccable, with meticulous attention to detail, and the professionalism of the entire team was evident at every moment.

09/04/2026: I was disappointed by my stay at the Jeu de Paume. A 5-star hotel can't afford to make mistakes, yet this establishment had several errors.
There was a computer glitch during the booking process. So, I went to pay on arrival, two days before my stay, and took the opportunity to request the blue room. Upon arrival, we were given the pink room! We waited 10 minutes in the hallway while the hostess corrected the mistake. The kettle in the room was hidden in the cabinet under the TV, and only three tea bags of unknown brand were provided. We would have preferred herbal tea or tea from a reputable brand. There were no soaps to keep, and only one shower cap for two people. Breakfast was delicious, but the hostesses lacked a smile, and the sparkling water wasn't replenished once the bottle was empty. The spa was a lovely place, but the next morning at 7:15, we found the tissues and candy wrappers left behind the day before. In short, the Auberge du Jeu de Paume doesn't deserve 5 stars.
The positive points are: the bedding, the sauna which is nice and hot, the breakfast items, and the hotel's location, but that's not enough!
