10/08/2025: Not exactly amazing, and expensive for what it is. No one came to see us for 10-15 minutes, not a word, nothing. A 30-minute wait after ordering to serve four Breton galettes, and there wasn't a crowd. The waitress served our galettes with her thumb touching them. The galette was a little undercooked. They were served "upside down" (filling underneath, crepe on top). A bit disappointing for lunch.

09/08/2025: Good experience The crepes are good and the service was decent.

26/03/2026: A frosty welcome (just like the weather that day). The first time, the waitress curtly took our order at the table, and the second time, we waited… and waited… all while standing at the bar, exchanging glances. We had to ask to be served, and the response was: orders are at the bar. Okay, perhaps you should have told us that when we sat down and waited in front of you, since the first time the waitress came to take our order at the table. In short, we didn't feel comfortable in this establishment.

14/03/2026: We had a fantastic time at Le Cairn Bowling Bar! We came for a drink and enjoyed the pool and foosball. The atmosphere was great, the staff welcoming, and the setting perfect for relaxing after skiing. We'll definitely be back!

16/04/2026: Friday marked our second visit to Boutique Folliet, and we were just as impressed as before. The shop is lovely, and the service was excellent. The person who helped us was clearly passionate; without her, we would have been completely lost in the vast selection! Despite a slight wait, the tea and coffee they suggested were exceptional. A fantastic find!

We will come back again and again from our family holiday every year because you made our stay so much better. 31/01/2026: Unacceptable handling of security deposit and guest treatment We stayed at Manali Lodge in Courchevel 1650 from 25–28 January (3 nights). The stay cost €7,000, yet the hotel required a €4,000 security deposit, which already felt excessive. I paid it in good faith. After checkout on 28 January, the property was left in good condition and no damages were mentioned. As of 31 January, my deposit had still not been released. When I followed up, I was told they were “still checking with housekeeping,” days after checkout, with no written report, no explanation, and no timeline. This is completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. On top of this, during our stay the hotel paid €100 for a transfer in the middle of the night due to a special situation when we were not at the hotel. Despite already holding €4,000 of our money, management made a big issue over this amount and insisted that we immediately come down to reception to pay it on the spot, instead of simply deducting it from the deposit or handling it reasonably. Until we got back to the hotel. This behavior shows a lack of professionalism, poor guest handling, and questionable financial practices. I would strongly advise future guests to be extremely cautious regarding deposits, additional charges, and how payments are managed. Transparency and prompt refunds are essential in hospitality—unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

03/05/2026: Nice large terrace, often have to get your own drinks/food at the bar, but the service is fast.

02/05/2026: Frankly, we wondered if it was because it was the end of the season or if the service was like this all year round… The terrace was practically empty, yet the wait was abnormally long. We had to ask for the drinks menu twice. Once our order was taken, they brought us something other than what we had ordered, claiming they were out of it… In that case, they should perhaps mention it upfront. And when we pointed out the problem, the response was borderline rude: “I didn’t give you the menu, where did you get it?!” In short, a rather disappointing experience, especially for such a well-located place.

02/04/2026: Pleasant welcome, generous meals, excellent and wide selection, perfect for a quick bite between runs or an evening out, friendly and welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend it

29/01/2026: Very recently we went to this restaurant for a drink. My father started to eat a sandwich which he had brought with him. Almost immediately we were confronted by a man with a beret and a pointed beard who was very rude. He used a sexually charged derogatory comment.."if you go to a prostitute you don't take your wife with you" which I suppose is an analogy to taking a sandwich to a restaurant and not buying the available food. The situation quickly escalated into verbal threats, and we were ordered to leave the premises immediately. This action constitutes a serious breach of the basic duties of courtesy, respect, and professionalism expected of any establishment welcoming the public, particularly with regard to customers and tourists. There is no way that i could recommend this restaurant to any one in search of a good relaxing meal.

17/04/2026: Catastrophic! The pizza wasn't cooked (my jaw was aching before I'd even finished it; I usually eat two, but this one had no flavor whatsoever). To top it all off, we ordered beers, so be warned: we ordered pints (50cl), but the glasses didn't all match, and it turned out the beers served as pints (50cl) were actually 33cl. The owner replied, "She's been serving 33cl at 50cl prices for 12 years now!" No compensation whatsoever. Three rounds of drinks, one pizza, €90 to get 33cl beers in Aigues Blanches! Welcome to Savoie!

10/04/2026: Arrived at 7:30 PM. The friendliness matched the service. A Savoyard pizza, pizza dough with Reblochon cheese and a tiny slice of ham. Before we'd even finished eating, they closed the shutters in our faces at 8:15 PM. Nice, but that's to be expected. I strongly advise against going there unless you're looking for a bad experience 😥. Run away and avoid it. It's time for the owners to retire. And then it's the customer who's acting in bad faith.

08/02/2026: Hotel and spa always spotless, restaurant improving (keep it up), staff always very good and professional (hotel, restaurant and spa).

04/02/2026: The food was very good, but the portions were far too small. As I'm not a big eater, I never order starters and very rarely dessert. Here, I ordered a main course and dessert, and I had to order something else afterward because I was still too hungry… €80 for two people, and I left still hungry, what a shame! Plus, the wait was very long…

04/01/2026: The person who greeted us was very friendly. A little less stress would have been appreciated. The crepes are made with jam, but the person refused to put any on the waffles.

17/03/2026: I rented an apartment for a business trip. It's indeed 18th-century style and very clean. The owner is very accommodating. If you're not looking for modern amenities and perfection, you'll be happy there for the view, the peace and quiet, the proximity to Aix-en-Provence city center, and the security.

13/04/2026: The waiter doesn't provide menus and makes suggestions without mentioning the price. The bread is stale (or even two days old), and there's no dessert menu either. The real surprise comes when you ask for the bill, which you don't have; the waiter just gives you the price. Avoid at all costs.

01/04/2026: We arrived at 4 pm this Wednesday, and after wandering around without finding anything to eat, Lionel welcomed us with great kindness. He went to see what he could make for us: a beautiful steak with Roquefort sauce, fries and salad, and a delicious tiramisu for dessert. What more could you ask for? And to top it all off, Lionel offered us génépi liqueur as a digestif. A huge thank you to Lionel for his wonderful hospitality 🙏

21/12/2025: Grumpy waitress Annoyed when asked a question Limited selection at 7 a.m. Only one raisin bread, for example. Lectures a customer who buys her entire stock, what she had planned to sell for the day. Why go into this line of work if you're so bitter? I fear the financial results will reflect her lack of enthusiasm. Customers should avoid this place.

09/04/2026: Avoid at all costs! A simple self-service restaurant priced like a fine establishment, with subpar quality and appalling service. Mayo and ketchup are charged extra, the food is clearly mass-produced… and just for kicks: the table salt was two years past its expiration date.
