28/08/2026: The snack break was good and enjoyable. However, there's a sign 30 meters from the restaurant at the intersection that says "View of Mont Blanc" (see photos), and if you're unfamiliar with the area, it's confusing. We thought the view was from the chalet bar-restaurant. But that's not the case at all. We later realized the sign belongs to the kiosk 200 meters uphill near the Col du Glandon parking lot, but there's no sign indicating this. The chalet bar-restaurant's name isn't clearly displayed. This needs to be changed.

15/07/2026: Excellent restaurant, I highly recommend it. The service is quick and the staff are incredibly kind and cheerful. The food is simple yet delicious; it's hard to beat in terms of quality and price. I highly recommend it.

11/07/2026: Upon arrival, the entire restaurant smelled of grease. Then the waitress (who was very friendly) told us about the starters and main courses without a menu. The food wasn't great; the frog legs were dry, especially if you're used to eating the Dombes variety, and the gratin was crumbly with crispy, chip-like potatoes that shouldn't have been on the plate at all. In short, we won't be back.

21/08/2026: A disaster. We showed up at 12:30 with my family of four—two adults and two children, one of whom is 8 years old and has celiac disease. They told us there was no room at the time; we said we'd wait, as there were no alternatives for our son. They did everything they could to turn us away, from making us wait in the rain because we were a nuisance at the entrance, to repeatedly telling us we'd have to wait an hour. To no avail, they let in other people who spoke French; evidently, us Italians, who spoke English, weren't welcome. Shame. Luckily, we discovered that the restaurant next door had a menu with gluten-free options. I repeat, a disgrace.

21/08/2026: Rainy day, full restaurant. We were prepared to wait up to an hour for a table for four, as one of our children has celiac disease. Despite explaining this need, the waitresses repeatedly asked us to move away from the entrance. As if that weren't enough, other people were seated before us. Perhaps because they spoke French and not English like us, even though we're Italian? What a poor display. It's a disgrace.

22/03/2026: One of the absolute best hotels I've ever stayed at! Absolutely magnificent and wonderful service. It was absolutely amazing, bravo! A hotel you just have to go back to!

15/03/2026: We stayed at the Hotel Le Blizzard in Val d'Isère for a week last year and loved the experience. Unfortunately, this second stay was somewhat disappointing in several ways. 1. The reception staff weren't particularly welcoming. 2. Housekeeping didn't come to our room every night, and even when they did, they didn't always leave water. Two nights, we found our pajamas, which had been on the bed, on other furniture—quite surprising for a hotel of this standard. 3. Breakfast was also disappointing: several dishes were cold on multiple occasions. 4. Dinner at the La Luge restaurant was terrible. 5. We unfortunately booked a massage at the spa on the wrong day (an error on our part, which we fully acknowledge). However, we would have appreciated a bit more flexibility from the hotel, for example, the possibility of rebooking at least one of the two massages free of charge or at a discount. 320 euros down the drain. It wasn't all bad, though: the room was very nice and the bar always has a great atmosphere in the evening, very cozy! We also had a fantastic dinner at La Mourra.

15/08/2026: A rather disappointing experience at this restaurant. The waiter was kind and helpful, but the wait was far too long, as the cook was working alone, which is understandable. And unfortunately, the value for money was very poor; we found the dishes expensive for the small portions we received.

02/08/2026: A small, unassuming bar/restaurant where the food is delicious; you can taste the love the cook puts into the honey sauce on her duck breast. The fondue is very good, fragrant, and the charcuterie is high quality. The desserts are incredibly generous and delicious (pavlova and French toast). The service is a little slow, admittedly, but after all, we're on vacation, and the young waiter's friendliness quickly made us forget this minor inconvenience. We happened to be there on a karaoke night. The atmosphere in the bar area was fantastic and made us want to linger for another drink and a little more singing. A very pleasant evening at Col du Palet.

24/04/2026: This stop was a must for us when we went to Tignes. We always received a warm welcome and the food was very good. Be aware, however, that the kitchen is closing earlier and earlier, which is a shame as we won't be able to stop by anymore. It's now closing before 10 pm, then 9:30 pm, then 9 pm... They probably don't want to work anymore. Disappointing.

14/04/2026: Not many people to be served, a disaster. I had time to eat my starter, but they didn't bring me the bread; I had to go get it myself, and on top of that, he was grumbling and unhappy, really very unpleasant.

13/06/2026: The setting was splendid and the meal was very much appreciated.

07/06/2026: This Sunday, I went to the counter to ask if I could sit on the terrace for a drink. I was told to come, but 20 minutes later, still no one was there to serve me. I got up and went to the counter to order, and they completely ignored me. The service is clearly not up to the standard of the location.

30/08/2026: The service was half-hearted; I was seated at a table on the terrace with no view, even though it was 80% empty—a shame considering the view. The daily special was priced on the higher end of average, which is acceptable when the quality is there. "Chicken pavé with porcini mushroom sauce and sautéed potatoes" sounded good on paper... The "paquet" turned out to be a slice of roast turkey, the "sautéed potatoes" were four small new potatoes cut in half, neatly arranged on the plate and topped with chopped red onions and spring onion tops, and the sauce was barely there, perhaps a rather bland porcini mushroom jus. If there was any flavor at all, it was completely masked by the handful of commercially produced fried onions covering the sauce. "Onion sauce" would have been a more accurate description, given the small amount on the plate. Not a single insect except for a passing wasp during the meal, but when it came time to pay at the counter, the room was swarming with flies buzzing and wandering on the furniture, walls, and ceilings, and there was no visible equipment to combat the problem. Better to fast than stop; keep walking.

12/08/2026: A great team and fantastic energy, well done everyone! A table of 9 without a reservation, right in the middle of the artisan market, and delicious food – everyone enjoyed it! BRAVO!

20/07/2026: The meat was excellent, but that wasn't all... The gratin and croziflette were just as good! Thank you for the very pleasant service; this is a place not to be missed.

15/08/2026: The food was very good, but the atmosphere was disappointing—the music was on repeat and didn't sound like anything. The karaoke nights were much more enjoyable and festive.

10/12/2025: We had a very good time at Les Clarines restaurant. The meal was excellent and the waiters were very warm and welcoming.

11/03/2026: The agency staff were very friendly and attentive. The apartment was very well located, right at the foot of the slopes as advertised. A few repairs were needed, such as a leaking toilet, a shower tap that needed replacing, and a patio door that needed fixing. Otherwise, we had a great week as a family in Les Menuires.

17/04/2026: Excellent experience, the DJ is good, the view is magnificent, the service impeccable (special mention for Walter and Cécile), I recommend the salad 🥗 with stuffed cabbage and an extra fried chicken.

25/06/2026: €11 = Tasteless and poorly filled tacos. The meat was defrosted and undercooked (mushy tenders that weren't crispy at all). The sour cream was lumpy with a bitter taste, and the sauce... nonexistent. I couldn't finish it; I was very hungry, but the taco gave me a stomach ache.

05/06/2026: The service is awful. They barely respond to greetings, as if they're trying to get rid of you. The kitchen is unhygienic, with a cook spitting and a server who wasn't even aware of who it was. Their tacos have no flavor.
