14/07/2026: Over an hour and a half wait to be served. Here is the salmon steak as it was served to me. I didn't touch it.

12/07/2026: The food was actually pretty good. However, the service was disappointing. One of the dishes I ordered never arrived, even though I waited for a long time. Later, I wanted to order dessert, but when I asked a waiter, I was told to wait. Unfortunately, no one came back, so I ended up leaving without dessert. Overall, the food was nice, but the service needs significant improvement.

25/07/2026: Hello, A completely successful experience for me. The servers were truly delightful. The meal was also excellent. I had a flank steak with a gorgonzola sauce... absolutely wonderful. Just a quick note: we arrived at 2 pm for lunch and had no trouble getting a table and enjoying a very pleasant meal. I highly recommend this restaurant. Well done to the waitstaff and kitchen staff.

06/09/2026: First time at this little bakery and I was very pleasantly surprised. I bought a strawberry cake today and it was simply excellent. I highly recommend this bakery. The staff is very welcoming.

06/09/2026: Excellent, well-made breads that keep well and are made with a variety of flours. Gougères and small thyme-flavored puff pastries are a real treat as an appetizer. A warm welcome and always a cheerful atmosphere.

31/07/2026: It's a friendly and welcoming place with an amazing atmosphere. There's something for everyone! I love it and highly recommend this establishment. I recommend it without hesitation: it's one of the best bars in Paris. The staff is very professional and attentive. The DJs are available, helpful, and attentive. As for the manager, he's incredible: always smiling, welcoming, and kind.

Simple and delicious traditional cuisine, the place is clean, and the entrance has a 70s Dick Rivers vibe. Stop by for some great traditional food.

08/09/2026: A brief moment out of time. When I was planning my week's vacation in Seine-et-Marne, and more specifically my visit to Barbizon, I had initially chosen a different restaurant. Unusually, I checked the reviews for that establishment. The poor quality of service was mentioned several times... So I looked for another and came across Le Gaulois. There, the reviews were glowing about the hospitality. So I decided to eat at Le Gaulois. After my experience, I'm very happy with my choice. I had a truly relaxing time there, which greatly enhanced my well-being for the day. I was first greeted by a woman of rare beauty, elegance, and grace. Smiling and gentle, I realized that she was probably the one I had texted when I made my reservation. I smiled afterward because the three young men serving and working the bar also looked like they'd stepped out of a modeling agency! Helpful and smiling without ever being obsequious, they took excellent care of me throughout my meal. I had lunch in a small, covered courtyard, which was also particularly charming. The eggs meurette were excellent, the beef fillet exceptionally tender, and the homemade fries perfectly complemented the rest of the meal. The floating island dessert with its crème anglaise completed this complete success. I hope to return before I leave; it all depends on some acquaintances I need to meet before my departure. Thank you to the chef and the entire team.

05/09/2026: Appalling service. It's hard to even call this place a restaurant—that's what they present themselves as, after all. The waitress speaks to customers as if I'd walked into her house at midnight and was disturbing her. No respect, no basic courtesy whatsoever. I've never encountered such terrible service anywhere in the world. If you want to ruin your day, you've come to the right place.

02/09/2026: I thoroughly enjoyed the welcome verrine and the risotto starter 👍 The ribeye steak was excellent, and the homemade fries were so delicious and perfectly cooked that they were a real treat 👍 The waitress was also very pleasant and offered great advice. 🫵 I'll definitely be back on my next trip 🥰 This is a place worth knowing about for its quality, atmosphere, and even prices. Let's not forget that we're just a stone's throw from Disneyland Paris. There's a lot of competition and many other options, but this will be my go-to spot 🫵

14/06/2026: The meal was excellent, the service perfect, the beef skewer was delicious and cooked exactly as ordered! The setting was pleasant and well-maintained. The homemade brie sauce was very good. The only downside was the violet liqueur; I doubt the advertised 40cl... it was far too sweet, unpleasant on the palate, with a layer of sugar at the bottom and half the glass filled with ice, so there was barely 20cl to drink.

17/08/2026: We ordered pizzas and pastries online for pickup, but upon arrival, two pizzas and a slice of flan were unavailable. The saleswoman was very kind and tried to resolve the situation. (Emeline) However, you shouldn't indicate that items are available on your website if they aren't actually available in the store. We had to buy other things to make up for the missing items because no refund was possible. The pizzas weren't ready when we arrived; we had to wait 20 minutes before they were cooked.
