We started with 5 or 6 people and ended up with 15 because we were so enthusiastic about the owner's cooking! I hope the second week of construction went well for you too? 23/08/2026: Disappointing experience from start to finish—rude service, bland food, and hygiene issues. My experience at Le Tendance was deeply disappointing and fell far short of basic expectations. Upon entering without a reservation, I was directed to an indoor table when I politely asked if an outdoor table might be available. The host met my request with a dismissive and abrupt, "I can give you this if you like, if you don't like...it's too bad" To make matters worse, I overheard multiple groups who walked in after me without reservations being warmly accommodated and seated outside. Given that this has happened multiple times and the walk-in guests seated outside were exclusively white, it is hard to view this arbitrary treatment as a mere coincidence. Once finally seated inside, it took an unacceptable amount of time for anyone to come take my order—the delay was so long that I seriously considered getting up and leaving. To add to the atmosphere of questionable standards, I actually witnessed a waiter at a nearby table lift the bun off a woman's burger with his bare hand right in front of her just to check which one was medium and which was well-done. When my own food finally arrived, it went from bad to worse. I started with the onion soup, which was an absolute disaster. It tasted entirely like plain, unseasoned boiled water, and even after heavily loading it with salt, it still tasted like nothing. I couldn't bring myself to eat it and left the bowl completely full, but the same host cleared it away without even a basic inquiry as to why it went untouched. Consequently, I had to fill up on the very stale bread basket. Things didn't improve with the main course. The chicken filet tasted genuinely like hospital food—completely dry, cold, smothered in a watery forestière sauce, and served with mashed potatoes that tasted unmistakably like instant powder mixed with water. The accompanying peas, beans, and carrots tasted like cheap, low-quality frozen vegetables. To make it remotely palatable, I ended up finishing off whatever was left of the salt shaker on the dish. To top it all off, basic cleanliness was severely lacking throughout the meal. The salt and pepper shakers, which I had to specifically ask for, were filthy, and the water bottle provided to the table was equally dirty, forcing me to avoid drinking from it entirely. A completely unsatisfactory visit from start to finish, and I will not be returning.

07/09/2026: A very pleasant restaurant, the dishes are delicious. The service and welcome were perfect, all at a reasonable price. I recommend it to enhance a stroll through Provins.

06/09/2026: We arrived at 11:00 for coffee, three of us, anticipating that we would have to leave in 15 minutes for our visit to the museum next door. On the terrace, there were already two tables having breakfast; otherwise, the restaurant was empty…we were told they were full…

10/06/2026: After a 3-day seminar, the only positive point was the bedding; otherwise, for 170 euros plus meals, it was a disaster. The breakfast buffet was the poorest in France, and the chicken and fish meals were always the same. Apart from the welcome by a charming lady, it's unacceptable to charge such an amount. Furthermore, the arrival was chaotic, with a manager who, I think, dismissed a new employee while yelling at him. There was no housekeeping during our stay, and no towels were provided.

10/06/2026: The hotel is definitely convenient because it's very close to Disneyland Paris, whether you're driving or walking: a 10-minute walk takes you to the Bussy Saint George station, and two stops on the RER A takes you to the park entrances. That said, I wasn't thrilled with the hotel, which was undergoing renovations, and as a result, everything was poorly organized: it wasn't clear where the reception was, and we even had trouble getting to the rooms and elevators. The rooms were aesthetically pleasing, but for me, there were two major downsides: the light in the room at night was as bright as day, probably due to the streetlights outside, but mostly because the curtains didn't cover the window properly, so I couldn't sleep; another problem was that there was only one towel per person: no hand towel, and no extra small one, which is essential on some occasions. The breakfast was plentiful, but nothing special. Overall, a good place to stay, but with some aspects that could definitely be improved. I hope that these little things will improve as the work is completed. The quality-price ratio is still good.

15/01/2026: We came as a group of four for a midweek meal with friends. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything we were served, from the cocktails to the dessert, not forgetting the wine. There was nothing to criticize; everything was excellent. Despite the diverse choices, the cooking was perfect, and the sauces, side dishes, and all the other dishes were harmonious. The setting is pleasant and beautifully decorated. We were able to chat quietly while enjoying our meals, which is exactly what we wanted. The service was efficient and friendly, and the courses arrived one after another without excessive waiting. Of course, the price is high, but the quality is undeniable. We will be back.

20/05/2026: Horrible experience. The welcome was appalling, and when I tried to clarify things with a waitress, she sent the manager over to berate me because I had a friend who was late. But I think my friends of color weren't appreciated... so it was discrimination. I was there to celebrate my 50th birthday, and there was no cake or candles like everyone else. The food was low-quality, as were the wines. A very regrettable evening, with a factory-like atmosphere. Avoid at all costs.

28/08/2026: Starter, main course, dessert €18, fresh products cooked on site 👍 This is becoming increasingly rare, so well done and I will now make the detour.

22/09/2026: Every time I go to the flea market in Bray-sur-Seine, I make sure to stop by that charming little restaurant, straight out of a Doisneau photograph. A great atmosphere, traditional cuisine, and the bone-in ham is hearty and delicious. Plus, there are plenty of other surprises. Don't miss it.

14/09/2026: I recommend this friendly restaurant, which is open on Mondays. It has a small, quiet terrace; just ignore the road noise. The food is home-style, just like you'd find at home. Simple, fresh, and delicious, without any fuss, and the service is quite quick.

15/09/2026: Great escargo. I only gave food range for price because we bought a pretty expensive bottle of wine which would skew the amount spent.
