27/11/2025: We stumbled upon the former owner of the Parisian bistro...the very place we'd definitively crossed off our list. A pretentious fellow, still as sloppy as ever after more than 10 years behind the bar. The service is pretentious for a mediocre result.

11/07/2025: Enjoy a beautiful terrace on the old market square. Lunch menu available from the blackboard or à la carte. Very friendly welcome and service. The wine in a jar is a bit pricey (€20), but the rest was perfect.

10/07/2025: The food didn't live up to the venue. We ate shredded chicken with mashed potatoes and a bland sauce. Dessert: a very small slice of Normandy tart. I don't recommend it.

29/09/2024: We ate as a family with two children. The dishes were delicious. As a starter we both had the two salmon rillettes which were very tasty and plentiful. I had a mother's sauerkraut and my wife had a fillet of sea bass with mashed potatoes and small vegetables. Both dishes were excellent. Concerning the children's menus, they are the same as for adults in a smaller format but also very generous with a scoop of ice cream for dessert. The waitress is very friendly, smiling and attentive. We exchanged a few words with the Chef and did not fail to congratulate him on his cooking. We had a great time as a family, thank you.

14/01/2026: Fantastic restaurant! Finally, a table in Gournay-en-Bray. We were lucky, there was space for us. The meal was superb, and congratulations to the cook or chef! Thank you so much for this lovely experience. We will definitely be regulars. Affordable prices and such high quality!

02/01/2026: We loved eating at that restaurant so much. The lady was so kind; as soon as we arrived, she would set up the ramp. But now I will be eating alone. My disabled husband has passed away; he loved the food so much. See you soon.

31/08/2024: We came on a Saturday evening to this restaurant that we have known since it opened. Quality and quantity are unfortunately no longer there. We were especially ill after this dinner: terrible bars in our stomachs and trips to the toilet as soon as we returned home. We warned the manager who looked down on us. A report was made to the DGCCRF. The staff is not rude but expeditious. The place is noisy but well located. We won't come back again.

27/10/2024: Not commercial and unpleasant in 2023 but also in 2024, no change. Either you are a trader and you don't look at your watch, or you don't accept customers on Sunday and it's closed. No politeness and informality towards customers.

28/09/2024: Arriving at the last minute, at the end of the service, we were pleasantly welcomed and seated, the good weather allowed us to enjoy lunch on the grass in the sun. Menu with choice and which makes you want appetizers offered Dishes and desserts of good quality, we greatly enjoyed our meal, right up to the coffee. A nice surprise on our weekend trip, we will not fail to come back when we are in the region again

19/09/2024: We came to eat this afternoon. Pleasantly surprised by the very relaxing place, super good, had a great time. The service is great and the employees are very friendly. If you are in the area for tourism, don’t hesitate, you can go there with your eyes closed.
