03/04/2026: I made a quick stop at the Bar Brasserie de la Libération for a few drinks, and honestly, what a pleasant surprise! I ordered two half-pints of beer and a half-pint of Picon, and everything was perfect 👍 The atmosphere is really warm and welcoming; you immediately feel at ease. The staff is friendly and friendly, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Even for a quick visit, it's a place I would definitely recommend. I'll gladly be back!

17/02/2026: Excellent value for money for this 2-star hotel, which is easily comparable to a 3-star. Large rooms and bathrooms, good breakfast served in a spacious room. It's also located in a quiet area, just a short walk from the center of Forges. I highly recommend it.

09/08/2026: A fantastic discovery in Calvados, right here in Dieppe! The atmosphere is truly wonderful and welcoming; you immediately feel at ease. The portions are generous and, most importantly, prepared with fresh ingredients—you can really taste the difference! The burgers were delicious and the fries excellent. The staff were friendly, and we had a great time at this restaurant. I highly recommend it, and we'll definitely be back!

26/07/2026: A pleasant surprise for us, just a stone's throw from home! Everything was good from start to finish. It just goes to show that sometimes you have to search far and wide for a good restaurant when you can find exactly what you need right next door.

03/07/2026: What a lovely find! Almost perfect... A shame about the very average service upon arrival.

27/07/2026: We went to the Casino for a short gaming session. The welcome and the staff were courteous. Unfortunately, we found there were few machines with a variety of games. It was mostly the same games with high minimum bets. We went to the restrooms during our visit and found them to be quite unsatisfactory in terms of cleanliness, smell, and maintenance. There was only one restroom accessible for men and one for women. It's a shame because the setting and the view of the sea are beautiful.

26/07/2026: Terrible! We just wanted to visit the casino, but without a paper ID, we couldn't get in. This casino doesn't even accept ID cards issued by France Identité, which are accepted absolutely everywhere in France. The service was more than inadequate. Avoid this place and go to the casino in Mers-les-Bains; it's much nicer and the service is excellent. @casino JOA, you could take note!

06/08/2026: They took us in despite the end of service; the mussels and fries were excellent and plentiful. Shaded terrace.

26/07/2026: We arrived late on a Friday night in La Bouille and having checked in to our hotel were extremely thirsty. A short walk along the road was this clearly very popular bar La Escala. Very helpful staff (and customers who helped translate an order for us). Delicious cold wine and beer and a view of the Seine as well. With tables outside there was lots of locals coming and going all very cheery and welcoming. We didn’t eat but we enjoyed an hour or so in the cooling evening being made to feel very welcome.

Being a server isn't just about bringing dishes or taking orders. It's about running from the beginning to the end of service, managing stress, meeting each customer's expectations, keeping a smile on your face even when you're tired, and continuing to give your best. Behind every service, there are hours on your feet, miles covered in the restaurant, heavy trays, and days when you sometimes don't even have time to breathe, but you keep going nonetheless. 02/08/2026: Hello We had a good meal. There were two of us, and we ordered the burger with cheddar sauce and chorizo, served with fries and Maroilles cheese sauce (the taste was different and it was just okay), plus a pint of beer and a cheese plate for dessert. Despite this, since the change of ownership, the atmosphere isn't the same, which we regret. It's more commercial than the family-friendly place it used to be. The prices have skyrocketed, even for the children's menu (€8.90). Furthermore, we went there in March, and I've since lost almost 400 points. It feels like we're being ripped off. We'll go back to give it another try.

27/07/2026: Very nice place, a small café and pastry shop where you can also eat. I bought two small individual cakes, they were good, but given the prices and the location, I expected something much tastier, more moist, I expected excellence, and it wasn't like that.

21/07/2026: It's understandable that the establishment wants to cultivate a prestigious image. Unfortunately, the experience doesn't live up to its stated ambitions. Prices befitting an exceptional salon, but the comfort leaves much to be desired: unbearable heat, no effective air conditioning, and a garden that, while landscaped, is off-limits to customers. A rather surprising concept. The service is inefficient. Even the simplest requests seem difficult to understand, and one sometimes senses a certain condescension, as if the experience were more about impressing customers than offering them genuine hospitality. Refinement isn't measured by price or decor, but by attention to detail and respect for individuals. As it stands, there's still a long way to go to live up to the image this establishment seeks to project.
