24/09/2026: We chose La Cave du Salut for its appealing menu and reasonable prices. It was a weekday dinner for two. The welcome was friendly, and we chose our dishes on the touchscreen outside the restaurant—a nice touch, and you can even see the dishes. Alternatively, they bring you a tablet to choose at your table. We had a seafood platter for two, which was very good. Then we had a seafood stew for two, also a real treat. We were tempted by the crêpe menu! We couldn't resist a pablito and a benedine, which I asked for not flambéed. Both were delicious. Just a heads-up, we ordered à la carte. They do offer set menus, but if you choose this option, be aware that it's not available after 8 pm. You can come without hesitation; I'd be surprised if you were disappointed.

14/09/2026: Good evening, We had already been to Le Grignot several times and had enjoyed it. However, this evening we called to make a reservation, particularly because we were likely to take up a bit of space with a stroller. We called once, the conversation was fairly normal, and we had to switch phones within seconds to confirm the time with the family, after letting them know we were going to switch. Perhaps this had annoyed the person on the other end, who hadn't heard our comment? We called back a second time because they didn't return our call, and in a particularly aggressive tone, they declared: "It's quiet, no need to reserve!" We will not be returning. Sincerely,

31/08/2026: Nothing went right during our visit. We asked for a table on the terrace, which was apparently closed, but barely 10 minutes later people were seated. We ordered a pulp-free orange juice and were told they didn't have any, even though it was freshly squeezed and therefore contained pulp. We ordered a matcha latte and received just a latte with whipped cream, which was an extra charge. Despite that, it wasn't bad, but I can't recommend this service, especially at this price.

30/08/2026: If you like fruit-based drinks, smoothies, milkshakes, etc., you've come to the right place. The only downside is that it's very crowded, there's a bit of a wait to get a seat, and the prices are too high for my liking.

02/08/2026: Hello We had a good meal. There were two of us, and we ordered the burger with cheddar sauce and chorizo, served with fries and Maroilles cheese sauce (the taste was different and it was just okay), plus a pint of beer and a cheese plate for dessert. Despite this, since the change of ownership, the atmosphere isn't the same, which we regret. It's more commercial than the family-friendly place it used to be. The prices have skyrocketed, even for the children's menu (€8.90). Furthermore, we went there in March, and I've since lost almost 400 points. It feels like we're being ripped off. We'll go back to give it another try.

19/09/2026: A very mixed experience. The establishment aims to be a fine dining establishment, but it falls far short. Visuals and taste: The presentation is beautiful and very refined. It's good, but far from exceptional. A major disappointment was the revisited tarte tatin (bland apples, no tarte tatin flavor whatsoever) and especially the portion sizes: the foie gras appetizer was minuscule. Serving portions suited to a 5- or 7-course tasting menu on a 3-course menu (starter/main/dessert) makes no sense. After a long wait, we left still hungry... luckily the bread was very good to compensate! Service: Pleasant staff but very slow service, no dishes were presented at the table, and the wine wasn't even offered beforehand—basic but essential elements, especially for an establishment claiming to be in the fine dining category. In summary: It's not catastrophic, far from it, and the visuals are there, but the overall experience remains disappointing for the claimed positioning.

15/08/2026: Hello, very bad experience. One of the waiters, who thinks he's Franck Dubosc, made fun of my sick grandmother… He needs to work on his sense of humor. Overpriced, a two-hour wait for a mediocre meal. The flank steak I ordered was rare but arrived medium-rare, almost overcooked. The sea bass fillet was tasteless… Unbearably hot. Everything needs to be improved.

16/09/2026: I stopped here during a bikepacking trip. I was hungry, thirsty, and probably looked awful. The staff greeted me with a big smile, let me set up with my bike, and immediately showed me to the restrooms, still with a smile. As for the food, I was certainly starving, but the quality was superb, especially considering the price. For €21 (without a drink), I had eggs with mushroom sauce, as well as steak, eggs, and fries. Simple, satisfying, and well-prepared. The fries even rival those from the North!

30/08/2026: An experience that unfortunately fell far short of expectations. It's always difficult to leave such a negative review, but when the bill is this high, it seems reasonable to expect a level of service commensurate with the prices charged. The discrepancy begins with the service: paper placemats, particularly sloppy service, and a style of reception more reminiscent of a cafeteria than an establishment offering €47 set menus. It could almost have a certain charm, if the prices reflected the same simplicity. The same can be said for the drinks. The soft drinks, served with a generous amount of ice, essentially tasted like… water. As for the house cocktail, it seemed to be based on a very basic multi-fruit juice, immediately noticeable on the palate. Again, the price suggests a minimum level of effort. But the real disappointment, of course, is the food. For a restaurant that specializes in fish and seafood, serving scallops that are far too overcooked is already regrettable. Discovering that they were clearly made from a frozen product, without this being mentioned when ordering, is even more disappointing. At this price point, one expects a certain level of expertise regarding the product, or at the very least, complete transparency about what is being served. Ultimately, it's not so much the simplicity that's the problem—simple cuisine and unpretentious service can be excellent—but the considerable gap between the establishment's pricing and the actual experience offered. We left with the rather unpleasant feeling of having paid the prices of a fine restaurant for an experience that, unfortunately, lacked both the cuisine, the service, and the attention to detail. An address we will not be returning to.

30/08/2026: A truly excellent restaurant! The menu has changed, but it's still a delight… there are few restaurants open on Sundays that offer a menu at such an affordable price in a remarkable setting. The staff is always incredibly attentive to us food lovers, and the owner carefully oversees his establishment to ensure everyone's enjoyment. It's a good, family-run restaurant featuring local produce.
