18/12/2025: Go for it, it's a great place. Passing through Neufchâtel-en-Bray, I stopped at the bar and restaurant. I was greeted with a smile and genuine kindness by the owner, who runs everything herself. The bar service and the truly homemade food were a real treat. She listens to all her customers. Plus, there's an exhibition of local painters whose works you can buy.

17/03/2026: The risotto resembled rice pudding, the baked egg was so small you had to search for the egg, and to top it all off, the inedible piece of beef was more sinew than meat... (it was replaced). Three of us at the table shared the same opinion. We stopped before dessert. Far too expensive for the quality offered, especially in such a dated setting.

10/07/2025: Luckily, the sales assistants are there to save the day! I had pointed out that baguettes weren't like they used to be, that something had changed regarding their storage. Before, when I took a baguette out of my freezer after a week, it was almost the same as the first day I bought it. Today, it remains hard as a rock after thawing, inedible... just a shame. I'm not talking about Viennese pastries and other king cakes...you'll have to rethink your copy! I live and work in the countryside, so I don't go out to get my bread every day, so I stock up on baguettes.

24/03/2026: Nice little terrace, tasty pancakes, coffee, and craft beer. Unfortunately, there is no choice regarding ice cream, only vanilla and not all the flavors listed on the menu; these are only available when the weather is nice.

05/04/2026: We went there without a second thought, and we were very disappointed. The food lacked originality, the view was of the sidewalk, and the service was stiff and formal. Clearly not worth the price.

10/03/2026: It's good but quite expensive because there are no set menus; everything is à la carte. The staff isn't very professional; you have to ask for bread, drinks, etc. I've been disappointed since the change of ownership. Plus, it's very dark.

09/03/2026: A very pleasant discovery! The setting is lovely (it must be even better in the warmer months!), the staff are very welcoming and friendly, the seafood casserole and Relais-style mussels were delicious, there's a good selection of wines, and the prices are reasonable. We'll be back! And as a bonus, the chef comes at the end of service to ask for feedback, which is a nice touch.

20/12/2024: Nice discovery Tuesday lunchtime. There were five of us. Top notch welcome. The place is really very nice with the fireplace. The chef is inventive and pleasant. We had a blast. To recommend.

17/12/2024: Nice surprise this afternoon, thanks to a friend we arrive at five. Neat setting with the fireplace which gives a good atmosphere. Impeccable welcome and service. The meal is a delight, very innovative cuisine. We had a great time. To recommend.

25/02/2026: It really feels like eating frozen food, even if you say otherwise… The only positive point is the exterior, which makes you want to go in, but once inside the cafeteria, you just want to leave.
