05/05/2026: I wholeheartedly recommend this place! The atmosphere at La Madeleine is both warm and welcoming. A huge thank you to the owner, Arthur, for his kindness and helpfulness, as well as to his entire team. As for the food, the dishes are always excellent. Go without hesitation!

09/02/2026: Frankly, their professionalism is nonexistent. Giving permission over the phone to hold a package, then surreptitiously sending it back without warning, is either utter incompetence or a complete joke. I should mention that I was on vacation abroad. As soon as I received the package, I called the pickup point to inform them of the situation. I asked if they could hold the package for three more days, or if it was possible to send someone to pick it up for me. The answer was a resounding yes: “Yes, no problem.” Despite this, the package was returned. No information, no responsibility taken, just apologies after the fact. And to top it all off, the man had the nerve to speak to me in an inappropriate and insolent manner. After initially acknowledging that the error was theirs, the tone suddenly changed: I'm now being criticized for not sending someone to pick up the package, in a contemptuous and completely unacceptable manner. Shifting responsibility for one's own mistake by speaking rudely to the customer. A minimum of professionalism and respect should not be optional.

11/04/2026: Superb restaurant, the food is excellent and the setting is splendid, value for money is excellent, I highly recommend it and I will definitely return.

06/06/2026: A welcoming place with a lovely wooded setting. The food was excellent, both in terms of quality and quantity. We paid €40 per person for a starter, main course, cheese, dessert, and a cocktail. We may have felt a little rushed by the service, but it was in a good way, as the waitress was very kind and attentive.

10/05/2026: We were advised to make a reservation for the weekend. The parking lot is spacious enough for everyone. A children's play area seems to have been set up for customers, which is a nice touch! The dining room isn't very large, but it doesn't feel cramped. The waitress is organized and quick, but unprofessional in her greeting, incompetent in making cocktails, and even disrespectful (see the end of the review). We didn't understand the advertised flexible menu system, and the menu isn't up-to-date. It's possible to order dishes individually (not as part of a set menu), but no prices are displayed (the waitress announces the prices verbally). The portions are generous, made with fresh, delicious ingredients—we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! This restaurant truly deserves service that matches the quality of its food! Service needs improvement: We had a reservation for 7:30 pm and arrived at 7:29 pm...we seemed to be bothering the waitress, who claimed she was eating. She said a few incomprehensible words and left... so we waited, and then got a "Well, are you coming?"... needless to say, I've never had such a welcome. We ordered rum cocktails... we couldn't taste the rum, and when we asked for more, she made my wife (who doesn't drink alcohol) smell the glass, saying, "You can really taste the rum, can't you!" The rest of the service took place at our table in the freezing cold!

25/01/2026: The hotel has just been bought. They sold the furniture, linens, and dishes. We'll see what happens to it...

16/11/2025: A lovely restaurant right next to the stage, offering two classic but good set menus served by a charming gentleman who took excellent care of us. We had a very pleasant evening.

08/12/2025: We had dinner there as a group of three on Sunday evening. We were pleasantly surprised by this pizzeria; the pizza was good, the ingredients were high quality, the waiter was very pleasant, the price was reasonable, the tiramisu was excellent, and the Bardolino red wine was also very good – a great place to eat!

07/12/2025: We booked because the Capri was part of the Gourmet Passport. Right from the booking stage, they told us they no longer accept the passport on Saturdays...! They finally accepted it. Once there, they specified that we needed a minimum spend of €30 per person, excluding drinks, to get the discount. But nothing adds up to €30 if you order a main course and dessert... there's no set menu... and on top of that, the service was incredibly cold! They use the passport to attract customers, but it's ultimately useless! And then there's the detail of the waiter in the restroom who didn't wash his hands after leaving... even though I was standing right in front of the sink... oh my god! 😱😱

We received a very warm welcome, the quality of the meal was excellent from the aperitif to the dessert, the prices were more than reasonable, and the service was quick and top-notch. I have absolutely no complaints and highly recommend it! We will be back!
