17/03/2026: Not a good experience at all; the bread was mostly white, not at all crusty like good bread should be, and the cakes were very, very mediocre.

01/03/2026: The Tarte Tropezienne was really bad, probably a leftover from the day before. For €22, you'd expect better. Another experience with panbreads that were sparsely filled and tasteless.

24/02/2026: Very disappointed by the food, the hamburgers were too dirty and served cold. A shame because the service was excellent and very attentive.

24/02/2026: A very disappointing experience... What can I say??? The service was actually quite pleasant, the waiters were smiling and professional, BUT the food was a disaster! We waited 45 minutes for a plate of salmon tartare, oysters, and cold fries!!!! Thankfully...they offered a discount on the bill... In short, avoid this place! To add to my review: a promising start with an excellent homemade tapenade, but the lukewarm foie gras was inedible due to the visible veins. Waiting 45 minutes for salmon tartare is incomprehensible despite the quality of the product. The oysters were dry (perhaps opened too early?)…and therefore not to my husband's liking, as he's a big oyster fan. They did offer a discount…thankfully! In short…for our first restaurant visit to the area, it was a disappointment. Once again, a big thank you to the waiters who shone with their kindness and smiles.

15/03/2026: Mixed feelings A warm welcome with a smile, a perfect location, and a beautiful setting. (Great branding!) A rather simple and quite small room. Two other points: • The restaurant • Breakfast Breakfast was expensive, with limited choices and no local products; in my opinion, it needs a complete overhaul. But the real drawback lies in the poor quality of the Riva restaurant, especially considering the price of the set menu (€72). The service was mixed, with inexperienced and slow staff, resulting in a very long wait. As for the food, I believe there is a lack of skill and technique. The seared shrimp were far too salty. The foie gras ravioli was well-prepared, but the ginger-infused meat jus, due to a disastrous amount of ginger, became a dish that numbed the palate. The main course was fine, nothing exceptional but decent (be sure to sharpen your knives well as the blades are no longer cutting). The dessert was very good, fresh and pleasant, a lovely ending. Regarding the wine list, it's a shame there are so few regional wines, especially in the selection of wines by the glass. Nevertheless, I thank the staff at Maison Berard for their superb welcome.

18/02/2026: I only used the spa; I had a gift voucher for about 2 hours of relaxation: bubble bath, themed shower, hammam (too hot), sauna + cold bath, and upstairs free herbal tea room, however, the herbal tea was cold!

21/02/2026: Good, hearty food and reasonably priced. Thank you for the children who had a great time.

18/02/2026: Avoid at all costs! The mussels and fries curry selection was a mixed bag. Half the mussels were empty, 1.4 were dried out, and the remaining 1.4 were mediocre. The sign advertises mussels and fries as a specialty. The waitress and waiter were friendly, and the terrace was clean.

03/01/2026: Reservation made through The Fork but the restaurant is closed, despite reviews for December 31st, strange, luckily we were able to find another restaurant

01/01/2026: We made a reservation a week in advance using the 50% discount on the à la carte menu advertised on TheFork. The restaurant only informed us that morning of a set menu for December 31st, with no à la carte options available. This information was not provided at the time of booking. We therefore cancelled.

26/11/2024: The food was very good, and the price was reasonable. The decor was beautiful and minimalist, and I really enjoyed the background music. The waitress could have made a bit more of an effort to be more professional.

19/11/2024: Terrible! No welcome, the waitress was so unfriendly, we almost left... - The salmon ravioli was inedible, the sauce was too salty and ruined the filling. - The aioli was very poor, the vegetables were soggy, the fish was too dry and undercooked, and there was no presentation whatsoever! I've never seen anything like it... I wanted to run away and I got sick 🥴😭

19/01/2026: The plates are generously filled, even too much so, and the service is excellent and fast.

09/11/2025: A friendly bar and restaurant where regulars love to meet up. 🙂 The daily specials are excellent, and the à la carte dishes are always reliable and generously portioned. 👍👍 Eating under the plane tree is very pleasant 😍 when the weather is mild 🌞 Don't hesitate to stop by; there's a parking lot across the road.

03/01/2026: Excellent restaurant, very warm welcome. I had a lovely time with my wife, son, and 10-month-old daughter. The service was very attentive and friendly, and the food was excellent value for money.

19/11/2025: Chicken bought this morning at the market. Very salty to mask a stale taste! Despite this, the taste of chicken, which must have been stored since yesterday or the day before, is still there! The potatoes are also very salty. I'm very disappointed!

28/10/2025: I ate there, it was very good, I recommend it, and the price is reasonable. It's conveniently located right in the city center. Today, July 28th, I ate there, the stuffed dish was very good. Pierrick Alexandre, you ate there 6 days ago, it's a shame how you speak. It's okay not to like to please everyone, but you should remain polite. I've been going there for over 4 years and I know everyone. The cook is a real cordon bleu, and the waitresses and waiters are top-notch. Unfortunately, it just closed because the owner retired. Happy retirement, Gerard!

08/03/2026: The meal was good, but the setting was so dated and cold. What a shame!

07/02/2026: I'd known this restaurant for at least eight years; we usually went once a year, but this time I was very disappointed. We were greeted by a charming, friendly lady who handed out roses to passersby who glanced at the menu. We were seated on the terrace facing the yachts and the sunset—so far, so good. We ordered a seafood platter (€69), and then a waiter (not new to us, as we'd seen him and been served by him before) took over, who was incredibly rude and set the table with completely scratched glasses and chipped plates. The seafood platter arrived relatively quickly, on a completely dented aluminum tray! And when you look around, you realize that the restaurant is falling apart (the terrace has rotten slats that could be dangerous for both customers and employees). To top it all off, the waiter came to clear away the dented, empty tray (which, admittedly, wasn't too bad considering the restaurant) and spilled the melted ice water, splashing everywhere. So I ended the evening soaked and smelling of seafood without a single word of apology from the waiter. In short, I won't be going back!

03/03/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel La Frégate. The hotel is very clean and the room was spotless, absolutely pristine. The restaurant is very elegant and also very clean; we enjoyed a delicious meal in a pleasant setting. A big thank you to the chambermaid for her warm welcome and smile. Thanks also to the owner for his excellent hospitality, his kindness, and his attentiveness to his guests, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel.

28/12/2025: This pork spider steak was delicious, a delicate and well-prepared dish, incredibly generous portions of both fries and meat. I saw the portions of the other diners who ordered other things and I was impressed by the amount of meat served; it wasn't a small hamburger for a child. On Sunday, the waitress was alone; you should hire more staff, as we were the first to arrive. I felt sorry for the other diners' wait, hence my lower rating for the service.

23/12/2025: High prices (around €25 for main courses). The pork spider steak was barely edible, and the capon paupiettes weren't much better. Luckily, the sea bass fillet was good. But the main disappointment was the single side dish for four people: a bowl of fries and a bowl of green beans. The presentation was truly lacking at this price. A glass of white wine was €7, and fromage blanc with chestnut cream was €8. This is the first time I've ever left a review for a restaurant, but this was really disappointing.
