16/02/2026: Yesterday, Sunday, February 15th, we went for lunch at the restaurant Le Quai 16. We arrived at 1:30 PM and my husband ordered the seafood stew. Right after finishing the meal, my husband started feeling unwell. Upon returning home, his condition rapidly worsened. He is currently hospitalized with food poisoning and severe dehydration. I would also like to mention that the view into the kitchen did not inspire confidence in terms of cleanliness. I very rarely leave negative reviews, but when it comes to health, it's important to report it. I do not recommend this establishment.

02/05/2026: Fantastic traditional campsite! We had a peaceful stay in a well-equipped mobile home at the back of the campsite. The oval spa was a real treat. The teenagers had a blast all day with the bikes, etc. Book without hesitation!

14/03/2026: We came on a Saturday with our family and were very disappointed with the service. The manager/owner (wearing a white shirt) was impatient and unpleasant. He spoke in a very rude manner and brushed us off. He even took it upon himself to choose my mother's dish because she couldn't decide; luckily, she liked it. He didn't even ask about allergens. And when it came to my duck breast, he didn't even ask how I wanted it cooked; it was almost as if we were bothering him. For such a well-reputed establishment, I find this unacceptable. The person in charge really needs to take a good look at themselves. However, as for the food and the dishes on offer, go there without hesitation.

25/03/2026: I had sauerkraut for lunch today which was tasteless, the cabbage had no flavor, and the charcuterie was also tasteless. I told the waitress who was sorry, we paid and left without dessert or coffee (we had it elsewhere).

16/03/2026: This brasserie is a place to avoid at all costs! The chef, Adeline, shows a complete lack of respect. She's arrogant, rude, and has absolutely no manners. Run away immediately! So much the better, good manners aren't your strong suit. I should have come and spoken to you face to face about this disrespect, but I have better things to do than waste time with a chef, lol. Come down a peg or two. The gods are only at Mount Olympic, not in Valletta. She thinks she's a Michelin-starred chef. You only work in a brasserie...

02/02/2026: Lunch on February 1st: poorly presented dishes, deplorable service, a completely open terrace in the middle of February, even with the sun shining – not a single sheltered spot! Eating in the cold, in a draft. No staff, just one person taking orders, clearing tables, and serving – all rushed and haphazard… a 1.5-hour wait. It doesn't deserve any stars, really, even though there's potential… disappointing, I won't be going back. What will it be like in peak season? 😳

01/02/2026: We arrived around 3 pm for hot drinks. There were five occupied tables (11 people) and one waitress. She greeted us, claiming she was alone, and assigned us a table even though there were four cups on the one we chose. She was simply unprofessional. She spilled hot water from the teapot all over the table. Not a word of apology. Unfriendly. We had to insist to get the menu. What kind of service is this? We come to have a nice time, we don't say anything, we certainly don't complain, and we leave disappointed. At the register, my friend politely told them she wasn't satisfied with the service, and they told her the waitress was doing her best. So much for customer service!

03/05/2026: A very disappointing evening celebrating two birthdays. The food was very good, the service was fine. But not even a candle for our birthday! The hen party next door was the same. The DJ outside didn't create any atmosphere inside. The owner walked by without greeting us or speaking. For a restaurant/club, that's a shame. If you want to eat and dance, go to La Technopole or Le Petit Bain; you'll have a better time and at least there will be a lively atmosphere. P.S. The exterior is aging; adding cushions and decorations would hide the poor quality. The white armchairs are worn, and the stone benches have no cushions—it's all rather disappointing. You'll have to improve for the summer season.

12/04/2026: Delicious, generously filled crêpes and galettes at a very good price. Very friendly owners. A must-visit if you want to eat really good crêpes and galettes!

25/02/2026: The couple were friendly, but the food was nowhere near the quality of Breton galettes and crêpes. (Being Breton, I can say that.) Very disappointed considering the rating.

31/07/2025: When we went for dinner, I didn't understand why the restaurant was empty because my wife and I had a very good meal. I would go back. The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and the prices are reasonable.

14/01/2026: Cockroaches in the kitchen, and the owner thinks it's normal: "They come from the cellar"... yet, in the village, not a single other cockroach has been reported! Barbecue sauce comes back from the tables, and the owner transfers it from the ramekins to the storeroom and, presto, it's served again, with all the stench of customers who've dipped their meat, their forks, their fingers, their spittle... The owner even goes so far as to hide the clean dish towels so the cook can't get to them, to avoid using detergent! Completely contrary to basic hygiene rules and the law... He's ripped off everyone who's tried to work for him, and on top of that, he's tried to give them a terrible reputation... what's more, he publicly belittles the poor waiter, who was actually very kind and professional... Avoid at all costs!

13/04/2026: Where to begin? We arrived around 8 pm at the bar, which had an empty starter and dessert counter except for the bread… At the register, the cashier, who was quite unpleasant, informed us that the chicken fillets with mushrooms were sold out, but this wasn't indicated. So, we opted for two steak and two ham hocks. The cashier then told us she only had one ham hock left, so we ordered three steak and one ham hock. We went to the prepared foods counter to get the ham hock. The cook politely told us he was out, so we pointed out that we'd been told it was the last one. He went to check and told us there must be a mistake; he was out and we had to go to the register to sort it out. We went to the till to sort out the problem. The ever-unpleasant employee called the manager, making a scene by taking off her apron and shouting that she was fed up and leaving. She also curtly told other customers that the restaurant was closed, even though it was only 8:25 PM and they closed at 9 PM. The manager arrived with a nonchalant attitude, humming to herself. We asked for a refund, and she told us that the ham hock could be replaced with a steak and egg, which was cheaper. I understand she didn't want to lose a customer, but there was no point in deflecting the question. We finally insisted on a refund, and she gave us cash even though we had paid by card. While giving us the refund, she grumbled, saying she would try to finish her shift as best she could and that she would receive a delivery the next day. It's a real shame, especially since we had heard good things about the establishment. And what's more, the all-you-can-eat vegetable and side bar was half empty, as you can see in the photo… I want to clarify that I understand technical issues happen, but being professional isn't optional in an establishment open to the public. The proof is that the cooks who spoke to us at the prepared food counter were very kind.

13/04/2026: Unlimited hot vegetables were good. I like your mashed potatoes, and they melt in your mouth. But the ground beef was better 3 or 4 years ago, as were the fries. Finally, I'm disappointed that we can't get crepes in the evening and find it strange because we can get waffles 🤔 P.S.: I really enjoyed the red cabbage in the all-you-can-eat dish, and I like coming to this Flunch, not just for that, but also because I discover new dishes every time.
