15/03/2026: What a wonderful evening we spent with family on Friday, September 12, 2025! The welcome was warm, and the service very professional. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert, even though the menu is a bit limited. The mussels and fries were delicious, the meat very tender, and the chicken spring rolls were delicious. A special mention goes to the excellent 2020 Saint-Émilion Grande Réserve! We would also like to dismiss these unnecessary and disrespectful negative comments! We will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😋

17/01/2026: A very good meal. The starter and main course were excellent. The dessert wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad either. The service and welcome were adequate. We will gladly return.

16/09/2025: Very warm welcome, Marie and her colleagues are friendly and the food is very good. We had a great time there.

14/09/2025: A Giens institution that is no longer one: ordinary cuisine served on cardboard plates and all at an excessive price. A waiter without a smile to boot. A real disappointment compared to what I had experienced... Opinions can be subjective, but serving €25 dishes on cardboard, seriously?! We shouldn't make fun of customers too much, after all...

29/10/2025: Well, I've never had that happen before! We came in the evening, Tuesday, for dinner. We were seated, the girl left and stopped talking to us; she went outside to chat. Anyway, a man came up and asked us what we wanted. We told him we hadn't received the cards, and he replied, "Go look outside at the board." I forgot, "I didn't print them out (mistake #1, see #2)." Given the way we left! So, we went outside and chose. Seriously, the nerve!! (We asked for two dishes, namely, stuffed vegetables and fish soup.) He said: "Oh, well, there aren't any left!" Wow! They really went too far. We had started our beers; I only drink with food, so we hadn't finished. He offered them to us! The least he could do...🤪 If they had a busy lunch service (which I can understand), they should have closed in the evening, or crossed out the dishes, or told us before making us go outside to choose! Sir, I hereby name you world champion of "I don't give a damn!" So we left and ate at a more expensive restaurant across the street, but absolutely Delicious, a lovely restaurant owner! Dear restaurant owner, Forever...!!! DON'T TAKE IT TOO FAR. Signed. Var vacationers!!!!

11/10/2025: Just perfect service, a super friendly boss and a more than perfect employee. A truly exquisite meal with a very good starter (really very good panisse) and a truly perfect pizza, I highly recommend it.

05/11/2025: Extremely unpleasant. I walked into the restaurant, smiling, and said, "Hello sir," to which he replied, "We're closed, can't you see?" Charming. I told him no, the door was open, and he retorted, "Well, you need to open your eyes..." Avoid like the plague.

30/10/2025: The staff were neither welcoming nor pleasant. It says "pizzeria" in big letters on the storefront, but they didn't offer any pizza. Everything was open and drafty inside; you had to eat with your coat on.

18/10/2025: The endangered shark was really not to my taste, in fact it shouldn't even be served!

20/09/2025: For a seafood meal, the island's beautiful harbor offers magnificent evening views. The daily menu is not always available. Clothes are required in the forecourt and in the restaurant.

08/11/2025: Shameful! I made a reservation for my birthday, it was confirmed, so I arrived on time and on the day I booked, only to find the restaurant closed. There were no signs, no posts on their Instagram mentioning the closure, especially since the reservation had been confirmed by email and text message. Thanks for ruining my birthday!

27/10/2025: I had reserved a table via the website. Reservation confirmed. We showed up on Sunday, October 26th, and what a surprise. It said "closed." I don't know if it's permanently closed. We had to find another solution. And to top it all off, this morning I received a message asking how my meal went. It's better to laugh about it...

15/03/2026: We visited it on 15/3/2026 at 8pm, but it’s closed.

05/01/2026: It's a shame that this bar/restaurant has the best view of the port because the service is deplorable, the manager is a prison guard, never friendly… I came 3 times to have a coffee on the terrace giving him "the benefit of the doubt" but I never got a smile or a hello 😂 This time was the last time, I recommend the café next door!

08/12/2025: The waitress on duty that morning was disgruntled and disrespectful because she didn't have change for 20 euros and tried to get all high and mighty! Talk about driving customers away! Maybe she has a libido problem? And then again, given her size! I don't recommend this establishment because, judging by the reviews, this kind of behavior is commonplace.

18/02/2026: A HYER RESIDENT'S REVIEW It had been years since I'd stopped by the old BDS (the sports bar back then 🙃). And, being from Hyères, I don't usually read bar reviews. Well, from today on, I can tell you, thank goodness for social media. I'll never again stop for a coffee in a bar where I haven't read the reviews. As soon as I sat down, a waitress (maybe the owner) started making a constant racket with chairs, rearranging them, and approached the customers to say: "Two coffees? Is that right? You see, I'm a fortune teller... One coffee? That's right, you see, I knew it..." This woman would then throw at each customer: "So, one coffee is that right??" The nerve! Seriously, where am I? In a bar, at 10 a.m., what does she want? People come in and order two whiskey and cokes?? These people absolutely don't deserve to work. It's obvious I'll never set foot in that establishment again, and I'll be posting all about it on social media. PS: FYI, the coffee costs 2 euros.

27/12/2025: At what point do you start charging more for a coffee because supposedly: "nobody drinks coffee at lunchtime so it's €2 extra"? It's unacceptable to have a bar with this mentality in late 2025/early 2026. Needs to be reviewed.

31/12/2025: Avoid at all costs! The waitress is unfriendly, cooks crepes and waffles without gloves while taking payments, has no hygiene whatsoever, and is completely chaotic in its handling of customers. Where's the queue? She's serving ice cream, we're waiting, and then suddenly decides to move to the other side, leaving us waiting. It's incoherent. I used to come regularly, summer and winter, but never again!

30/12/2025: We used to come here often, but when intelligence and organization are lacking, it's unfortunately over. Two queues, one server for each queue. One ice cream, one waffle. I'm waiting in the ice cream queue. When it gets to me, the ice cream server helps the waffle server and then turns to me to say, after I've already waited 10 minutes for the queue, "But it's on the side." I reply, "But you've served everyone in front of me except me, and I'm last? Being pregnant on top of that, it's just outrageous!" At some point, you have to think things through and organize yourself. Unbelievable! 😂

21/09/2025: For lovers of good meat and homemade products, this is a true delight. From the appetizer to the dessert, the service and the dishes were perfect. Bravo to the team.

12/09/2025: I went to this brasserie because the station restrooms were closed and I was in an emergency situation. I politely asked if it was possible to use the restrooms, to which I was told, in a very cold tone, that they were reserved for customers and that I had to consume. So I offered to have a muffin to comply with the rule. I was then told that the restrooms would be blocked for 5 minutes. I agreed to wait, but I ultimately noticed that the manager was taking his time putting away umbrellas and cleaning up, while there were still customers seated. This gave me the feeling that they were mainly trying to discourage me rather than actually enforcing a rule. I fully understand that an establishment reserves its restrooms for its customers, but it is also possible to express this with a minimum of kindness and consideration, especially when a customer is making the effort to consume. The attitude adopted in this situation was neither welcoming nor professional.

06/09/2025: Breakfast for €6.90! Hot drink, freshly squeezed orange juice, pastries, toast with butter and jam! TOP!

28/01/2026: The campsite is very good, Mr. Lalou enforces the order which is perfectly normal, and as for Shannon, I find her very good, I have already been to campsites which were not very dirty.

27/12/2025: Zero stars! This campsite is a disaster. We're relieved to have been kicked out of this campsite with my mobile home. Avoid it at all costs! Plus, I lost over twenty thousand euros in one year.

30/12/2025: A very friendly and delicious place! I highly recommend it!
