02/02/2026: Lunch on February 1st: poorly presented dishes, deplorable service, a completely open terrace in the middle of February, even with the sun shining – not a single sheltered spot! Eating in the cold, in a draft. No staff, just one person taking orders, clearing tables, and serving – all rushed and haphazard… a 1.5-hour wait. It doesn't deserve any stars, really, even though there's potential… disappointing, I won't be going back. What will it be like in peak season? 😳

01/02/2026: We arrived around 3 pm for hot drinks. There were five occupied tables (11 people) and one waitress. She greeted us, claiming she was alone, and assigned us a table even though there were four cups on the one we chose. She was simply unprofessional. She spilled hot water from the teapot all over the table. Not a word of apology. Unfriendly. We had to insist to get the menu. What kind of service is this? We come to have a nice time, we don't say anything, we certainly don't complain, and we leave disappointed. At the register, my friend politely told them she wasn't satisfied with the service, and they told her the waitress was doing her best. So much for customer service!

14/01/2026: Cockroaches in the kitchen, and the owner thinks it's normal: "They come from the cellar"... yet, in the village, not a single other cockroach has been reported! Barbecue sauce comes back from the tables, and the owner transfers it from the ramekins to the storeroom and, presto, it's served again, with all the stench of customers who've dipped their meat, their forks, their fingers, their spittle... The owner even goes so far as to hide the clean dish towels so the cook can't get to them, to avoid using detergent! Completely contrary to basic hygiene rules and the law... He's ripped off everyone who's tried to work for him, and on top of that, he's tried to give them a terrible reputation... what's more, he publicly belittles the poor waiter, who was actually very kind and professional... Avoid at all costs!

09/06/2026: A very good bakery and pastry shop located in the heart of La Croix-Valmer. During my visit to the area, I had the opportunity to stop by and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The selection is varied, both for bread and for pastries and cakes. The products are appetizing, well-presented, and enticing as soon as you enter the shop. The shop is clean, well-organized, and pleasant to browse. The welcome was friendly and the service efficient. The location is also convenient, close to other shops and with parking available in the area. A great place for a delicious treat or to buy bread and pastries during a stay in La Croix-Valmer.

06/06/2026: After we bought three unsalted baguettes, the saleswoman kindly exchanged them for us. Impeccable service.

09/06/2026: I participated in an introductory golf course at Golf de Valgarde. The team is welcoming and friendly towards customers. During the session, we were able to try out the driving range and practice area, which we really enjoyed.

26/05/2026: This was our second or third time going there as a family, and on Saturday night they charged us adult prices for my two-year-old daughter, who obviously doesn't eat like an adult! We mentioned it at the till, and the owner's response was, "That's just how it is!" It's outrageous and not very customer-friendly! The main courses are generally good, but all the desserts are frozen.

22/05/2026: No choice at the grill stand today, for the rest it's a lottery as usual, some good stuff and some not so great stuff, hard to guess

23/05/2026: We're rediscovering this establishment this year. A lovely improvement compared to last year. Incredible dinner! Thank you Will, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you Christelle for your hospitality! If you're looking for a lively dinner atmosphere, this is the place to go.

18/05/2026: Hen party... We were warmly welcomed. Dinner was delicious and plentiful, served by a very friendly and professional waiter... And to top it all off, we danced the night away! Fantastic evening!

15/03/2026: Mixed feelings A warm welcome with a smile, a perfect location, and a beautiful setting. (Great branding!) A rather simple and quite small room. Two other points: • The restaurant • Breakfast Breakfast was expensive, with limited choices and no local products; in my opinion, it needs a complete overhaul. But the real drawback lies in the poor quality of the Riva restaurant, especially considering the price of the set menu (€72). The service was mixed, with inexperienced and slow staff, resulting in a very long wait. As for the food, I believe there is a lack of skill and technique. The seared shrimp were far too salty. The foie gras ravioli was well-prepared, but the ginger-infused meat jus, due to a disastrous amount of ginger, became a dish that numbed the palate. The main course was fine, nothing exceptional but decent (be sure to sharpen your knives well as the blades are no longer cutting). The dessert was very good, fresh and pleasant, a lovely ending. Regarding the wine list, it's a shame there are so few regional wines, especially in the selection of wines by the glass. Nevertheless, I thank the staff at Maison Berard for their superb welcome.

18/02/2026: I only used the spa; I had a gift voucher for about 2 hours of relaxation: bubble bath, themed shower, hammam (too hot), sauna + cold bath, and upstairs free herbal tea room, however, the herbal tea was cold!

06/06/2026: The hotel is very well located, which is undoubtedly its main advantage and makes getting around easy. However, the rooms are very basic and, in my opinion, do not meet the expected standard of a 3-star hotel. Breakfast was also a disappointment. The selection is limited, especially for bread, with only baguettes and rusks. Offering Laughing Cow cheese lacks variety and quality for an establishment of this category. Finally, the staff is friendly and pleasant, but sometimes lacks energy. Overall, the location is a real strength, but several aspects could be improved to live up to a 3-star rating.

25/05/2026: Nice hotel, but the room... construction work wasn't finished around the front door. Good breakfast. Very pleasant setting and in the city center.

14/06/2026: This restaurant is becoming deplorable… being open until 8:30 pm means they should offer the same quality of service as at any other time until 8:30 pm… the result: dried-out food at the buffet, a grill area where they forget to buzz us so the food is cold, more than half the side dishes are no longer available, the sauces have disappeared… and to top it all off, even hot drinks have clearly become a cost-cutting measure since your hot chocolate has turned into water… in short, at the prices you're now charging for a supposedly affordable family buffet restaurant, you're better off going anywhere else…

13/06/2026: We always receive a very warm welcome at this establishment; it's very clean and well laid out. Today, unfortunately, we happened to arrive with no water fountain or ice available, but these things happen.

17/04/2026: We were drawn in by a three-course meal for €27, well below the prices in the area. We weren't disappointed. The mussels in cream sauce were excellent and plentiful. The squid Provençal was to die for, meltingly tender and served with delicious rice and vegetables. My husband had sea bream, which was also excellent, although slightly overcooked. The staff were welcoming. In short, a pleasant surprise and a lovely evening.
